This is a simple question, but one with a much deeper meaning.

Have you ever considered the reason behind your gambling habit or in some cases addiction? Do you gamble for fun or do you gamble for potential profit?

Do you gamble because you are bored or because you have some medical condition that prevents you from going out to experience other type of entertainment?

Do you gamble, because you hope that a big jackpot will solve all your debt problems or that a big jackpot would fund your dreams?

We should always consider why we do specific things in life and if those things are constructive or damaging in some way and then evaluate our actions to prevent harmful situations.

Because I will never have financial freedom unless I get very lucky, I simply don't have the capital to start a business even though I have many good ideas.  I realize its a hail mary but at least it is something, right.

Im sure that im still on the fun side but there are really times that you cant really avoid on not to look or do after with making profits.Its inevitable.
Gambling either online or physical doesnt matter yet there are lots of things for you to engage on without needing to gamble but people
do really like some thrills that do involves money most of the time.


Never ever in my life on hoping to these things.Gamble just for fun and winning jackpots is just a bonus.

I gamble for fun and a bit of adrenaline but if I manage to win some extra money from this activity I am happy.The first reason is to have some fun only that is why I am not a high roller but sometimes I see gambling as a last resort to earn some extra money.This happens rarely but it does happen.

When I started making money online in 2009, I also tried to gamble with my earned money (I wasn't aware of cryptos then). The main motto behind gambling that time was to make some quick profit. But as I grew older and more experienced, I realized that I am not that lucky which will make me rich overnight! So I stopped playing slot and dice games and moved to forex trading. And trust me, forex trading was nothing less than gambling!

Now when I gamble, it's purely entertainment and I strictly keep my bankroll under control. If I make loss, I don't try to recover that loss by putting extra money in!

My gambling is basically on entertainment and fun becasue am afraid to be addicted. The most scary stuff on the planet earth now is; gambling, gamblers who are addicted to gambling aren't getting it fun when they lose in the process. Most gamblers died as a result of depression from gambling and, am afraid to get deep just becasue i needed quick money for myself.

I am not addicted in gambling but I think both was deeply needed why? Because fun makes you win the more you are enjoying the moment I believe the more winnings you will have. The same as gamble for profit of course that was our main goal sometimes. Honestly, i am more happier and had fun when I won a game it makes me more interested in the same thing.

I haven't considered much about why I gamble because my life has been care free and mostly without responsibilities. I think I gamble for potential profit but it's at least fun that I get.
Yes I gamble when I'm bored. I've lost a lot of money in gambling. And I feel guilty about it. I couldn't tell my family about it either.
In my experience, loneliness is one of the reason why people gamble, there are very few things in this real world to have fun with just money.

the above is all of my reason on why i play online gambling using cryptos but to be honest i rarely gamble locally ( offline ) , idk why but maybe because the pot prize or the potential profit is not high as i can see online  .  ever since i discovered crypto gambling online , im then attracted to the big jackpots and i  said to my self that if i win huge on online gambling i will give my wife and my family a better life but of course i dont go overboard and bet all that ive got . i still have a contol to my self and i still know the reality that gambling is a hard and risky game  .

When I was in the initial stage of my gambling addiction, I also look to gamble for profits. But as I take the journey and experienced lots of ups and down in gambling, I realized that I can't go this for long. So as I mature, I just play just to have some fun and then some.

I no longer the addict that I used to be like 10 years ago, I just go and play if I have some extra money in my pocket and just enjoy it, win or lose.

I gamble because I want to have fun and at the same time gain profits. Gambling is a way for me to forget may problems for awhile, also it help me relax at some point and I don’t gamble more than what I can afford. I’m into gambling but I make it a point not to be addicted to gambling.

Before I gamble because i’m desperate to earn money, hoping that I will hit the jackpot one day and it will solve all my problems and pay my debts but as I play longer I lost most of the time but still continue thinking I will get the jackpot until I hit rock bottom, that’s when I realized gambling isn’t the solution to my problems so I tried really hard to forget gambling and look for other ways to earn money. I'm more of a traditional based player, so for some reason I'm attracted to the environment, the noise, the people around you, people you know because of gambling. Can't simply say as for fun,like having intention of winning huge amount from it but not trying for it too hard make me save from huge losses.

Why we do gamble?It would be just either for fun or making money out of it.Each person do have its own
motive on why they do play.Lets not talk about the common results but this is always been part of reality

To be honest, you have already answered the question on your first point. People gamble to make profit. That is it. No matter what other bullshit the people say, their main goal when gambling is to make PROFIT. People who gamble for fun won't be using real money. There are lots of casino out there that provides virtual valueless money that you can play with for fun. They would have chosen that.

Long story short: For money and fun. It is fun to watch a different football championship series and win some money. Sometimes we win sometimes we lose but I never get caught to things like addiction, applying a different money management methods like martingale strategy and more.

In my case, I gamble for fun. I consider myself as small-time roller only. I don't go overboard and use only my extra cash. I am not chasing the winnings but rather enjoyment of what I am playing. If I win, then I consider myself lucky. But will not aim to get rich via gambling route.

Once I got into gambling when I feel lonely, and later things changed and I started to spend whenever I have little extra funds to spare. Later I understood the risk of losing, but this always tempts me to spend. Focusing to earn something out of it used to spend time and funds into gambling, even after experiencing massive loss there is some hope that I can get a win. I don't know whether it is true hope or something that's interesting me to gamble.

It's mainly because of money. I play because I want a bigger profit. Gambling answer all my needs since I entered crypto although I lose most of the time. I usually gamble for fun when my friends ask to join them. I also went to release stress sometimes or to kill time like waiting for someone within the area. Sure i always hope to have the jackpot in every game i play whenever im in casino but thats not the reason i went there so everytime i get out lost, its not that sad.

I'll be honest and say that I wanted to have a windfall that's why I chase that dream. I gamble for both, I'm true to what I say. I look for fun and can't deny that I'm also wanting to make some potential profit although my limit isn't that much but acceptable base on my perspective as I have fun.

I don't have medical condition, this applies for addicted gamblers. I gamble whenever I want regardless of being bored or not.

I understand the reality, this can't happen to me and hitting the jackpot is no longer on my mind.

To win, if gamblers has no chance of winning, gambling would not be fun.

I believe having a discipline in gambling would make us love what we are doing, being realistic is most important as well so we will be able to accept that losing is just part of gambling, we win some and we lose some but at the end of the day, it should be a small part of our life, unless we make a living in gambling, that's a different story.

to win. nobody wants to lose while playing cards in the casino and the bigger your bets the bigger your winnings. for me, i don't play it for fun, there is so much fun plying multi-player egames online like the first shooting steamgames but that ain't thrilling if you don't win cash. a waste of time but wining money is huge plus in gambling. take it from a wannabe high roller :)

You see, I am gambling for fun, I don't really think another thing other than having fun especially with my friends. I also love earning money through it, I am having a great time and at the same time, I am earning money so yeah, that is just it. When I realize it is getting out of hand, I tell some of my friends and they stop me and we do other things so for some time we create some space from gambling.

Just like the others, I just gamble for fun or just for past time. I don't gamble that much so whenever something or someone triggers me, I grab that opportunity to have fun. I also don't make a big deal out of it. I mean, either win or lose, I'm still satisfied because I got the chance to play. And I like to keep it that way. :)

I'm not an addict to gambling, I only play it if I have money and I need something that can make my heart race fast. Because I realize that gambling is not an entertainment place, I have found more interesting place which can I called it as entertaintment not gambling for sure. That's a tough job to realize, so you are saying you need a big money to start a business, but then if you have a small capital, that would require you to be extremely lucky to hit a big win from a small capital or bankroll.

Am not a fulltime gambler but gamble majorly for entertainment. Not that am not interested in the money making side of gambling but am afraid of be addicted to the system, as getting addicted is very easy but getting out of the addiction makes more difficulties that getting inn. I have learned gambling when i was in 9 y/o and what brings me is the lack of attention from my family ,they always treat me cold (or maybe that’s just what I wan to look on that point)and that’s the reason why some bad influence people comes to me and encourage me to gamble at younger age

Indeed, you were just right but there are some people or let say gambling enthusiast that they don't after the money had to lose as long as they are just satisfied and entertained will. For me on my own, I gamble because I enjoy it no matter how much the cost was being lost. Always having a good mindset is the best way to gain money.

Usually I have very good self-control and I only gamble money that I can afford to lose, so I'm fine with any losses that happen and I'm usually pretty quick to cash out any big wins I get. Considering in this case is always my main reason when betting, because basically I gamble only for profit and with consideration made even though I play for profit, but I can play with money that can lose. So in this case I did not become stressed or even depressed because of loss, because I have a rule that would not exceed the capabilities of the available bankroll, when I bet in a day and have prepared funds for that day and then the result is a loss, then I can stop and will continue gambling the next day in the same way until I get a profit from the fund limit that day.

Mostly played only single-player games with no money involved. And boy am I glad. Last night I felt like doing some poker. I ended up playing till morning. If there was money involved I probably would have went home walking with no money left in my pocket.

In my case it was just out of boredom though I suppose there are also a lot of people motivated to earn, which is unfortunate since we all know that you can't beat it.

I gamble once a week, just for fun. I go to the casino once every few months with friends.

I believe it's only 10% who are gambling just for fun and the rest will have in their mind to win the jackpot. I gamble because I wanted to enjoy much more about money as expected to doubled or tripled depending on your luck. Having fun with it is really awesome when there's enough amount of money to used as an investment, but without it I guess I wouldn't think of doing this kind of thing.
Gambling in reality has no assurance of winning all the time, but I tend to have fun despite of the disadvantages. Most important to know is always be a responsible gambler and don't get addicted to, learn how to have self limitations behind the fun that you're having with gambling.

im not really into gambling but if i do . i think im gambling for fun becuase im not expecting any return due to the fact that my bankroll is only small . its either my bankroll came from the gambling sites faucet or sometimes it came from my btc wallet ( if ever i have a spare btc )  . although there is still an urge of winning and possibly doubling my balance . win or loose i still accept on whatever the outcome  . whats more important to me is the experience  , the experience that i can  still play gambling no matter what  .

You can rephrase it like gambling is a way to risk extra money to get more profit from it. It may be possible your extra money in lost but then this is part of gambling. The best thing is to take risk in gambling with the money which even lost does not matter much ( but i sometimes feel there is no money which is lost and it does not matter.) I used to gamble, only because of fun, some might think for fun you don't need to spend money. Of course, there are many free games in gambling where we can gamble them freely without any investment. My thinking will also be same i don't want to gamble with the money.

Yes. Same with my thoughts too. I gamble because i got entertained with it and most of the time, i also hope that i'll be too lucky to win such a big amount. Honestly, everyone has their own reasons but the most common one comes down to just one thing ; being bored. If people are bored there is no limit to what they can do.

Gambling as fun is what we all claim but in reality, I think we are here to make money. I will not go into gambling that involves risks to my capital because of fun. If gambling is not a profit-making venture I will not even go into it. If I am looking for fun the best things to do is to go and play the game especially those free one that I can download through the apple store or google play store.

I want more money that is the only reason why I am gambling in this field because the cryptocurrency field giving a huge profit and if we camel with that then it will be double the prophet so I will definitely do it little by little whenever I need the money.

I guess it's in the blood of my family or shall i say we are addicted to gambling already but somehow i tried to manage my losses because i am just purely playing for fun and not really onto earning some profit. Unlike before that was the time that i tried everything just to get back my losses but i end up losing more instead.

I gamble because I guess this is the only time I feel like enjoying myself. I don't have any other hobbies except for playing games. Sometimes I got bored on playing and I sometime tried gambling and I thought that it was fun and I'm earning at least a little.

It’s unfortunate that we always have to waste money before realizing the truth in gambling. Same thing happened to me but not like you I had to retire completely, although I hope to be back to gambling but I must have learnt ways to becoming successful.

its the same for me , i like watching sports but i dont real have a "team" so betting on matches make me atleast want one team to win and i will enjoy the games way more that way.

Profit and entertainment these are the two main objectives why we gamble, but entertainment should be your primary reason, if you go for profit you will find your self in a quick sand, every time you try to escape, you will go deeper, I have seen so many gamblers who are after profit only to lose everything.

My friends usually bet on an NBA game and usually in the Conference Finals and NBA Finals. They asked me about it and I joined in and when they left for their works, I was left alone and no one to bet on so I find a way to bet and that is when I started to bet online. I have a favorite team and yes, I bet on it but there are times that I don't especially when I think it will not be a game for them. My main reason why I'm gambling is for fun.

I only gamble in NBA games so to add some excitement while I'm watching, I used to gamble small amounts of money. If I win then good because I can buy something with my profits but if I lose then I don't regret on it since I'm always ready unto whatever happens to my money :).

Agree, gambling anywhere uses cryptocurrency or not, it will be the same because gambling using Crypto does not guarantee you to get big profits and there is no ease in gambling anywhere.

This is the reason why I don't spend so much time gambling because I don't want to get addicted into it and I don't want to spend so much money also. Gambling for fun is good but learn how to control yourself especially when you are losing.

Fully agree. Until you can setup a limit you play with , and stay within no matter you win or lose, that's fine. An adult can live his life the way he prefer, and if he need some extra emotions from gambling - it is his choice. But if you can't control yourself  - don't even start.

I have different reason's why I used to gamble before ,
The main reason would be being bored I use it to have fun while trying to earn some profit,
I also gamble when I feel lonely back then I would visit some gambling site's just to be with some of my online friends.

If there's no control then its not about having fun, its about losing the money and hoping to win meaning you really become a gambler for money. I do gamble for fun, and money because sometimes I play because I need money I know its too greedy but I'm willing to lose that time. Gambling without budget I guess is the risk of all because you are going beyond your limit and its really a risky move.

I don't really believe most people who use to claim that they participate in gambling just for fun of it and not really for profit . If actually you want to play for the fun of it why can't you play online game that doesn't involve losing money, just my opinion though.

Getting easy money is the prime focus that make people to spend time and money on gambling. If there is nothing got out of the winning from games it is very hard to see gambling to be so popular as now. People always find it a way to get easy money, but very few used to have a calculated spending which is good choice for gambling.

It's because we want to feel about playing games using money involve inside the games and we want to get the experience of playing gambling. No matter if we lose or win at the first time we have a gamble, we can enjoy the game, but soon, after we played for some time, our greediness become bigger, and we want to win the games to get the money. Been in that situation after playing in the neighborhood poker game, I got home without nothing even to buy a burger for myself. I have to call my sisi to come over and lend me money. Sure I enjoyed the laughters on the table and the drinks but that's it I still lost my cash. For sports then having that knowledge into what you are doing does really give out an advantage rather than playing on a pure luck based games.
Self control isn't suited for anybody because most people do suffer such impulsive gambling neither playing on sports or dice games
they do fail up to handle their funds and getting broke in the end.

It is not good to make limits for gambling as we know there is allot of money for gambling, we can make as much as want to make, making money with gambling is surely so natural everybody gambles to make money, only few are there who use to gamble for fun  but gambling with enjoyment is really good strategy.

I gamble for fun and to be entertained, honestly, there is something in gambling that you want to experience and that is the excitement of every bet you placed, but I know my limitation I will not go on the limit of my allocation, the moment I do that it will keep going up until I cannot keep up.

The reason why I chose to bet for now is because I'm sure I have luck and I'm sure I will get a victory, but when that belief is disappointed because in the end only the loss is gained. As per my experience, it is better to gamble with limited amounts and do not be greedy to gather a lot of money. If you'r lucky, then stop yourself on winning some amount and start again the next day.

I am sure many of us gamble for fun and to enjoy the games. But we need to aware that we could attract deeper to the games and the game can make us addicted. We can see that many people cannot leave the gambling and even they are losing too much money because they want to make money from gambling.

I used to gamble for fun,or for "escapism" purposes,I should say.I had a lot of personal problems and gambling was a way to forget about them for a while.

We have the same reason why we gamble.

I only gamble just for fun and entertainment. Most of the time, I gamble on basketball so I just gamble to add some excitement while watching. If I lose then its ok for me and vice versa. I can control myself not to spend too much money in gambling so its ok for me. I stopped in gambling temporarily for some reasons.

That's of course is a normal behavior of the person who is like gambling, but has no addiction and does not need a help or treatment. While you can gamble for fun without need to win badly I guess it is ok, it just adds more pleasure from watching the game!

This just really add excitement from supporting a team.

I hope you continue this since it will not make you addict in gambling, the way you control yourself from being additive to it, makes it the usual gamble to play or gamble to have fun. It is not the case for some people though since there are people that even if they seldom gamble, they can still be addicted to it.
