According to technical analysis Bitcoin price is currently trading in a triangle pattern, marked by a narrower and narrower range. With the decrease in volume, a break is increasingly likely. Moreover, it seems that the break of $9,400 might lead bitcoin price to  reach a next resistance level of $9,800, $9,900 and $10,000.

While the whole crypto ecosystem is eagerly waiting for BTC price to reach $10,000. According to few analysts Bitcoin will easily surpass $15,000 if it gets $10,000.

$10k itself is a hard resistance to break and it will take quite some time to break it at this point because many will be selling their bitcoins there creating a stronger resistance and prevent the rise from completing so you shouldn't really expect 50% rise right after the $10k was broken not to mention that 50% rises aren't that easy in bitcoin to begin with.

I think bitcoin will be drop after hit $10.000.
But for this week, i am sure bitcoin will be up (my candle analyze).
let's just wait for the results next week (sunday or monday)

Key word here is "IF" it gets tot $10k.

So far I haven't seen the price goes above $9500, meaning this is a resistance level. If we can slice it easily in the next coming days then obviously we can breach $10k easily.

Others have predicted that we will break that $10k this June. Well we have a week or two. So brace yourself, we might have a bumpy ride in trying to get to that 5 digits again.

We are waiting for it to happen, although this is another speculation. I was expecting bitcoin to hit $10k this week, which can still happen, I feel this bull run may surpass that of 2017, this time more eyes are on bitcoin.

I imagine that these analysts have bought now and how they want to have much profit are making predictions that the price will reach the $15000 easy. It may be possible to end this year without reaching $15,000 and these analysts will disappear for some time if the price does not reach $15000.


We are having this difficult journey.

Any analyst can claim that, although targets are getting harder to achieve the higher we get knowing that we need to squeeze in more money in order to push the price up. $10000 would be a hard price point to breach, as it is also one of the major psychological barriers that we have recently even though we had crossed that line some 2 years ago. If anything though, this would be jinxed, just like any Tom Lee predictions made. I won't buy it, and I'd just keep an eye on the price and make a decision myself.

My analysis could be that bitcoin touched 15,000 $ with trust and encouragement in every month bitcoin showed positive value in all trades, it doesn't mean that it was just nonsense that we saw from the beginning of the year until the middle of this month, bitcoin has shown an unexpected increase people are mostly people, if indeed this is the beginning of the biggest increase in bitcoin then everyone will enjoy the moment ..

If the price increase at $10,000, I don't think it will easily surpass $15,000 because the bitcoin price will increase in the future. But after it reaches $15k, I think the price will make a correction of the price, and maybe the price will get down deeper than before. There are so many possibilities for bitcoin that will happen in the future, and we don't know what will happen later. So we need to wait and see what will happen this year and the next year.

We're in the resistance level at this very moment. If it does cross $10k, next resistance would be $15k then $20k and so on. I don't see time frame in that article so it's more of a prediction.

Get me on the job, then $20,000 + is not a dream anymore and it will be kept at that level.

you don't really need analysis to predict that. it is like being in earlier this year and saying price will drop after hitting $4k! which was the obvious case since that level was the resistance of that time. and now $10k is the exact same thing. we will see price play around below that for a while and hit $9.5 to $10.2k a couple of times before the FOMO kicks in and we shoot up much higher.

I am expecting bitcoin to finally get over the $10,000 range within the month of July as profit-taking can always occur when it reaches more than $9,000 within this month. Anyway, bitcoin can be unpredictable especially if it is hiding some energy within its sleeves. Things are getting exciting with bitcoin and I am sure that this can attract more players at this level. The whole marketplace can already feel the vibe and it is just a  matter of time before bitcoin can make a big breakthrough.

seriously. if these analysts are just looking at charts and seeing triangles they are not technical. nor analysts.. they are trend anals.

the anals are the ones deciding if the angle is based on 1dayy, on week, one month, 3 month.. basically they are drawing their own triangles based on decisions they make.

anyone can do the same. make a triangles angles look steeper or smoother just by changing the parametrs they choose.

a true technical analysts seeks out technical stuff away from the charts. such as the invention of asics that cause the october 2013 price rise
the mtgox fiasco that caused the slump...

future contract purchases that caused the 2017-18 movements.
next gen asic and old asic sell off that caused the late 2018 slump (along with some futures sell offs too)

anyone that just does trend anals based on drawing stupid lines on charts and calling it a pattern are foolish people that have no clue

This is what happened when Bitcoin crossed $10,000 for the very first time. It gradually rose from $10,000 to $12,000 over the course of 6 days and then boom! Over next two days i.e. 7-8th Dec, it rose from $12,000 to $17,000. So I won't be surprised if what you are saying actually happens.
One of the three basic assumptions of Technical Analysis states, 'History tends to repeat itself'. I would rather say it is the most important assumption of TA and on the basis of this assumption, a quick jump from $10K to $15K looks very much possible.

crossing 10k would give btc huge momentum its been down under 10k for so long alot of people even gave up hope for btc ever crossing 10 k again, and here we are getting closer and closer, it would be such a huge momentum swing, might even push it across 20k but not like in a week but over months

It will drop a little because of profit taking, but we have a strong candle now and we can go above $10k early than most of the analysis, i can’t wait for that price to be hit. It is great to see some analyst so full if confidence to predict the price, yeah the transaction colume and the chrat does show a great pattern and maybe there can be a good rising this week, but there's no such thing as easy rising, a good rising is a slow but stable rising, we don't need a rush rising but end up with huge correction, it will be very great if bitcoin could stable on 10k

Well i can't wait to see this happen after holding BTC over a year now. By the way even if it surpasses $15k i am not selling all my bitcoins. Hopefully we can finally hit the $50k rumours that i have been hearing about.

Bitcoin's price right now is increasing and it reached $9500 in just a few days so its not impossible that it will then reach $10k even before the end of June but $15k, i'm a little skeptical about it but who knows maybe it will really reach 15k and when that happens then I guess we can expect a bull run, fingers crossed.  :)

Who cares if this is just prediction nor analysis, we are all one here, and that's to make a decent profit. Yet, everything will still depend on our action whether to take profit or keep holding it.

if this year bitcoin can break this number, it does not rule out the possibility, the price of bitcoin will be able to return to alltime high, but if not, it may still be stable in the current price range, and will return a bull run, as many traders predict, ahead of halving day.

The price of bitcoin now reached $9700 so it is very possible that it will reach $10k probably tomorrow or in the next few days. With this, I can say there's a big possible that it will really reached $15k if not this month then hopefully next month. This is so exciting, been waiting for the price to reach $15k to scalp some of my coins, I hope it will happen.

Analyzing bitcoin price is not something you can come up with easily. Everybody is at edge of buying and hodling their bitcoin. There are big chances that it will still be increasing in volume. This is a year pump of bitcoin to $10k

I don't think because once the bitcoin goes to $10,000 it will become higher more and the value now more than $10,600 and still rising.
This is strong foundation of the bitcoin which is $10,000 and it is not easy to break because we work hard to achieved that value so the people did not let in the price do under $10k. It can easy to rise to $15,000 maybe next month is the expecting to hit.

When a lot of analysis claimed that bitcoin price will be high then I believe bitcoin price will be up easily. As you may know when bitcoin price reach $9000 then there is a lot of analysis that stated bitcoin price will touch $15000 with easily and now we have been seeing it. I trust to a predict that created by Thomas Lee when he said if bitcoin price touch $10.000 then we will see bitcoin price will touch $40.000 at the end of this year. It's just a prediction which can happened or not, but when I was long on this market at least for two years it been giving me an understanding and know the characteristic about bitcoin price movement then I believe the price of $40.000 will be achived soon.

I like your analysis, and thank you for the source of information that you share here.  I predict from the coinmarket and some big exchanges, BTC always stable in 3 days, then after that BTC increases $ 150.  and the cycle of fluctuations like that always repeats from the first BTC creating bullish.  I concluded that the development of BTC is still slow.

I do not really believe all these predictions from these so called experts. Where were them when btc was down there at the beginning of the year. I know there is a hude potential and btc can surprise us all and so I decide to move by the rhythm of the market and not what experts say.

Since we surpassed the 10k$ now ( so Happy yeahhh ) ; we can expect some more increase right now we are above 10k$ actually and everyone is kind of holding their coins now , it's a great moment for all the long term holders since after 2017 we haven't seen this much growth.

Hopefully it will. The market is still gaining a continuous price increase at the moment so it would be very possible that any time bitcoin price would suddenly surge into $15k. After that, i think some corrections might appear because for sure, some investors would likely to sell some of their coins to chase their losses in the previous years.

Its hard to say. People love the FOMO and yes it can do wonders for BTC but lets not forget the FOMO was strong all the way up to $20k and then we know what happened from there. It can turn at any minute and I believe that can be the cause of harsher drops. Last Bull run saw a lot of money come in, a lot of newbies and people selling things like houses to get in on it. They were then burnt severely, these are people that will either not buy back in or they will ensure they don't get burnt again. That means a correction at a high point could have snow ball effect. People will want to ensure they secure their profits this time.

I think 50% price increase is possible for Bitcoin as we have already seen in the market charts that from the lowest baseline of $3,200 the price doubled after 2 months until it finally hit the $10,000 mark in which it was already a more than 200% rise up performance. If this fast market movement will repeat again then for me 50% will be just a piece of cake but except if the price are manipulated then a normal add on of atleast 50% is really difficult.

Yes, its increasing again when almost every news are good for cryptocurrency. We are on the level of $11k, and hopefully analyst is right so we can see the level of $15k again and maybe there will be no walls on that price and bitcoin go for $20k price. Many good analyst says that bitcoin will make new ATH this year, i’m hoping for that. Haha

As the exchange rate rises, Bitcoin will attract more media coverage and this in turn will result in more mainstream investors pouring their money in to cryptocurrency. After 10K, the next major target for long-term investors is going to be 25K or 50K, so there is going to be a shortage of coins in the market as well. This can easily propel BTC to 20K-25K levels by the end of this year.

these bigger rises are mostly because of FOMO from certain type of investors. the type who got so greedy at some point in the past couple of months that they decided to wait for a gigantic unreasonable drop to to stupid levels such as $1000 to start buying then. most of them fell for FUD and were stupid enough to believe it.
as price started rising, these people stopped believing in that FUD and started coming back. on each level a big part of that group FOMO buys back in hence the big jumps.
now that we are above $10k i believe most of them are already in and to see $15k we either have to see a slower rise or if a bigger rise happens it needs new kind of FOMO from new investors.

You can never predict the future prices of Bitcoin accurately. Because you don't know who are the holders and who are the potential investors. This is different from the situation with the stocks, where everyone is aware of the major holders. Also, you can predict the future share prices up to a certain point by analyzing the performance of that company. But with Bitcoin none of these are possible. One thing that we are sure about is the upcoming block reward halving in 2020. It can have a major impact on the prices.

$10,000 is near to reach and i think by the end of this year the $15,000 target would've been surpass by bitcoin since it is gradually increasing into high percentage. Bitcoin is on bull state for now and many crypto enthusiast would definitely happy for its development.

I think that it will reach $15k in the upcoming months and not easily because there's  a lot of resistance in the $10k to $11k region, well if it reach $15k easily then better because it's an easy profit for bitcoin traders.

Since the amount is increasing now everyone starts investing back it will hit upto 20K for sure
IF only the rise has been spotted by good investors with good money.

How high will bitcoin go before the sell off, 15k, 20k, 25k?

And what will it drop back to, 8k, 10k, 12k?

If the price of 10k or 15k is missed, maybe at the end of the year, 25k will occur if you see the potential increase in bitcoin to show the interest of investors and users to re-invest in bitcoin, but at least can anticipate a decline in prices like last year, even though bitcoin shows an increase excellent from the beginning of the year ...

Who is that analyst so that we can guarantee that he or she is a legitimate one. Though I am optimistic that Bitcoin will reach $15k but it would not be easy as what you have said. Of course there are resistance before reaching that price.

I think $ 15k is a reasonable target to achieve and I will make it as my exit point. After that, there could be a price correction that I can use as a moment to buy bitcoin again. I am pretty confident that $ 15k will be reached in the near future.

Although 15000$ isn't exaggerated value and currently seems it will be not hard to achieve I don't think this kind of logic is fully applicable. Then you could easily say when price passes 15000$ it could easily go all the way to 20000$ or more but we all know things are not functioning that way.
There is no analysis that could guarantee anything and tell you the exact value, it could only be some kind of guidelines

which are events that are going to happen next year, so the price can go up a lot and only start to fall a little at the end of the next year

Why limit our thinking to 15k or 20k, it was only last week people thought

We are all amazed by seeing the rapid growth of the coin.
BTC after hitting 10k usd has rapidly grown up.
And it's still increasing as far as i can see now.
We all hope that it will reach 20k usd again soon.

If it will surpass $11,500 resistance, then there is a possibility that bitcoin will hit that price. Analysts are using their technical analysis to confirms it. But the market is unpredictable, even if they are predicting it that target price, unexpected movements will occur at any time soon.
I just hope bitcoin rises up to $15k to $20k. I have invested for so long and this is what I am waiting for.

You need to have more patience holding your bitcoin as the rapid rallying up is emerging most holders see the advantage of keeping their assets well kept while waiting for much higher price of Bitcoin.

Trusting your own assessment will make you more satisfied with the outcome of your investment.

Mathematically speaking yes it needs to pass 10 thousand dollars to reach 15 thousand dollars that is true :D. However, in some aspect if you think about it bitcoin price was around 4 thousand (even lower) when this started and it already moved more than double of what it was to reach above 10 thousand dollars and right now it is above 12 thousand dollars.

We are talking about something making less than 50% increase right now which has already proved us that it can do 200%+ anyway. So, yeah in retrospect we can clearly say that 15 thousand dollars is easier to reach after we are capable of reaching 10 thousand dollars, that was way more difficult because 10 thousand is 2.5x more than 4 thousand whereas 15 thousand is just 1.5 increase in the price, so this is quite obvious statement.

If Bitcoin reaches back to its current $20k high, the odds of it to go higher favor that outcome. I definitely wouldn't sell anything at $20k unless you badly need the funds. If the latter applies, take out just a fraction.

The moment we break the $20k mark we have no more resistance levels to pay attention to. There is no level (realistically speaking) that can't be reached from there so you definitely want to hodl.

It might help convince even the most traditional investors that were holding off that this is an insanely bullish development. This might be the trigger they needed to finally start taking Bitcoin serious and actually invest in it.

Right now I see it losing 11,000 and I think as a trade not forever but for now it would be worth seeing if price can move down to mid 9000's.   The trade relys on 11,000 taking hold as a ceiling and thats where the stop loss should be.   
    The reasoning being 8 day average momentum is as high as 11k and also a trend line of higher highs is in that area, moving below opens up the orders from speculators cashing out.   Eventually we meet longer term buyers and it will regain price lost probably.   Earlier today I was watching 12,400 for a pivot to decide if price would continue up or not, since we lost that I'm comfortable with some profit taking and consolidation ongoing after those previous gains.

Hit $14,000 but again back to $10,000 in the last 48 hours which shows how much price volatility we have in the crypto market and it will keep increase if the prices increase more so new value will be in the reaching position once we get broke the resistance at the level.I hope the prices won't fall $10000 or it will create panic and people will sell more and more.

The analyst is wrong. We are falling back again so fast like we goes up so fast. It didn't reach the $15k mark. It seems it's not yet time to see $15k again. Maybe we should see resistance in $13k first then we are able to reach $15k. For now resistance in $10k will be on test and I guess it can sustain.

Yeah, well it didn't take that long to break that barrier, did it?  I'm a bit shocked; I wasn't expecting bitcoin to reach anywhere near $10k this year--but once again my expectations are smashed by the power and randomness of the market.

That's insane.  Lots of speculators must have entered the market recently and are getting in and out like mad.  This is why I'm not buying any bitcoin right now, because it's way too volatile to tell where it's going tomorrow, much less next month.  I've said this before: a nice, slow price increase would be best for bitcoin.  This crazy see-saw behavior is just a recipe for a crash.  It'd be nice if the traders entering the market right now had the intention to buy and hold, but I don't think that's the case at all.  They're buying in and cashing out, and that's what's causing this price instability.

Um, yeah.  It's certainly possible, but I'd rather bitcoin didn't hit $20 this year.  If it does, it probably won't be staying at that level for long.

Will hope it won't fall below $10k, we soar high in just days but we drop again in just few hours. It is really surprising but I'm still positive that this correction won't takes so long and market resistance will turn back. It maybe this correction will push for another strong resistance and will go far for another market break.
Though it is usual to see pumps and dumps but the market trends today looks different.

It's quite near on that speculation mate, now bitcoin already passed $10,000 and all time high worth $13,000 plus. Eventhough bitcoin drop suddenly from 13k to 10k , there are still big possibility that it will reach $15,000 since it's too early to make bitcoin totally do a bullrun. Month of july is coming and I believe there's a lot if time bitcoin will expand its price.

The climb is temporarily stopped and seem to be affected by coinbase incident but I believe it will resume soon. The bullrun of bitcoin may encounter some rough roads and it is still difficult to predict if the top coin will really breaks its all-time high last December 2017. Technical analysis shows that bitcoin is remain bullish especially in a month time frame so it is expected to reach $15k in the next quarter.

When the price was around $9000 the prediction was to reach $12000 and if the same undergoes a correction then the same will go low to $7500. This by that moment caused a forward pumping and we crossed $12000 and the same further helped with reaching a peak of the year value close to $14000. Further the growth got disturbed and some fluctuations took place taking the price close to $11000 and now we're back on the forward trend.

i heard about the coinbase incident but i dont think that it was the reason on why the value of btc fell off . i think the reason is only  a correction . we al know that the price will correct after every pump but still the coinbase incident did contribute some .

sure bitcoin bull run has never been easy because it experienced alot of struggles or obstacles but the price can still expected to climb up to 15kusd and above before we end this year if not then our best bet would be next year because there will be a halving like everyone said .

Since Bitcoin was able to break the heavy barrier in $9800 - $10000 without any noticeable struggle, If the $12000 is sustainable for days, then it will sweep across the $15000 resistance as it did to $10,000 and might not look back until it reaches $17,000. This is just an opinion based on the current trend of Bitcoin and still holding above $11800

This was a prediction that striked the market when the price was close around $9500. Further after crossing we've reached value close to $14000 and has undergone price correction. Now the prediction is related to the $15k, crossing $15k will easily let the market price of bitcoin reach $20000+ value. Every prediction won't coincide with the reality. Let's hope the good market move takes place at the earliest.

Yeah but we just breached the $13,000 barrier again. So there might be a new set of FOMO that might push the price to $14,000. But I'm not expecting a sudden jump to $15,000 yet. Maybe we can see smart investors booking their profits at $14,000, does make sense. If that happens then it might takes some months again to try and retest certain price until we reach that $15,000. It's not gonna be an easy ride, that's for sure.

Many are holding bitcoin now and those that are currently buying are doing that for holding. It means Bitcoin will still be going up for now. Today it conveniently cross $13,000 and it is still very bullish at the moment in respective of the clashes it experience when USA traders come in today. I will say it is good we started to buy now as it has pulled back a little.

And just before you finished typing, the price goes on another retracement, pulling as low as $11.4 now. So much for that argument that "Bitcoin will easily surpass $15,000 if it gets $10,000" because we have seen that it can't even stay about $13k because speculators are going to take profits at this price. I would agree that we can get to $15k no doubt but it will not be that easy as suggested, because we all know that we won't go on a parabolic.

We all saw what happened last tie when it touched 20k. I would rather see the price slowly build towards 20k than a sudden jump. I would to see Btc sustain around that mark for quite a while, will be backed by new investors

Exactly, right? I keep telling people,,, this is not a game that is so easy to see patterns and that is always going to follow the old trends. See when we broke from 10k to 13.8k, it went all the way down below 10k for a while.

And now,,, after reaching 13k, we pull back immediately to 11k. It is all the profit taking that you say, 15k is not as easy as people say.

It looks like this August will repeat your first step, now the price of Bitcoin is back at 10k and it looks like in the future the price will start to grow like your next step, but this is not a good session for altcoin, everything is still experiencing a very drastic decline.

This views you have was what many of us has but things has changed and bitcoin is completely in the uptrend since then except the little resistance we have time to time. Bitcoin has cross $10,000 in the same June and it is still going up till now. It will be good if we speculate bitcoin with volatility in mind as this has been happening several time that when we have in mind that bitcoin is limited that is when we began to see recovering.

That will be fine if bitcoin can slowly increase and I think that will not make people panic to see the price. If the price suddenly jumps too high, I think the price will get down too fast too, and that can attract people to panic, and they can do fast selling because they will think that bitcoin price down too deep. I am sure bitcoin price will be back to $20k, and I think right now, bitcoin is on the way to go that price.

Hopefully it will ease to 20k and once it goes vertical we hit 50k ;D

It is easier to predict through imagination but we fail to out some reality into consideration also, I am not saying these values you mentioned is not going to be a target for bitcoin, it will and even might be greater than that, but we have to always consider the time frame and so many fundamentals that may bring about some constraints into achieving this as quick as possible.

I am very optimistic about the value of bitcoin climbing high but I really doubt if bitcoin will ever give a try to $20k this year because of some bad traders that we have in the market that would always tamper with the value, tamper in the sense that they will always withdraw at any critical point that bitcoin is supposed to make a major breakout, and once they force  it below that breakout point, then it will return us back to always starting all over again.

Well, according to the "analyst" right now we are above 10k, so it should go above 15k easily. I don't know what they mean by easily when they say it but to me that means a sort of hype and a bull run that will take it above 15k inside a week, if it takes longer than a week that is not "easily" to me in bitcoin world.

Yeah, your stock going 50% higher is a rare thing but this is bitcoin we are used to 50% increases in a week and it has happened before as well so if it doesn't happen this week that means its not easy neither and looking at how things are going it doesn't look like it will hit 15k neither at least not this week. As you can see there are plenty of analysts who are purely just wrong and make stuff up, there is nothing easy nor predictable in bitcoin world.

As expected for these so-called analyst to say once again if we hit 15k it easy to go with 20k and also if it hits 20k we would easily hits up 30k
and so forth.

We have seen these analysis for how many years on crypto even these claims do have corresponding analysis tied up.It doesnt mean that it would be precise
and bitcoin had already break these things for how many times.

Its broken a downtrend but I dont know it has to go to 15k.   I think the current 12k price is a completion or a return to its pricing prior to declining recently.    If it bases at 12k then maybe it goes onto greater things -

I only just drew in the blue arrow now but I wish I had realised it sooner because it was ready to break up a week ago.   Always a good idea to look more then once like crossing the road, situations can change.   Was bearish, broke upwards now I do think to wait and see.
