We are happy if the community want to contribute to this project... We are young developers with no experience of marketing, ico etc. but the project is working fine  :D

Is it supposed to be the all info ? Is it POW coin? If yes, what kind of algo it has? Any further plans? I know, there is some info on the site, but if you making an announcement, why not to put the info here.  Since explorer does  not work at the moment, why not add the info about when mining had started, if there is premine, etc?

So Trinacoin is a 100% Proof Of Work blockchain, mining algo is Scrypt.

The premine we have is only 50000 trinacoin because when we published on Github someone started to mine it (an Ip unknow to us) so the blocks are mined the most from that entity that is not affiliate to us.

For the future we hope that experts could help us with suggestion for make the project grow! We are open to all suggestions!

I am sorry but this Project in my opinion is lost . One has mined all the coins and Mining with a 1000 block per 20 minutes. 10300 blocks mined already

It would've added more +ve wait if you would've said that 50000 coins were your premine.

But what you said leans more towards the other side.

The time we started this topic (about an hour) the difficulty is increased from 0.0025 to 0.041 ... someone is mining hard :D

I think its time to stop the Project and start over . The Project has problem with difficulty .

I remember that Trinacoin was projected to mine a block every two minutes, almost twice Litecoin, so it's normal that the number of blocks increase so much.
And the difficulty adjustment come every 3 days, so every:

6480
8640
10800
12960

Blocks

... and so on.

It's working exactly as projected. We want the transactions at maximum speed.  ;)

Yes it seems crazy but it's perfectly normal. All cryptocurrency (Bitcoin and Litecoin in primis) in their first days/months of mining had these problem.
It's caused by the increase of hashpower in correlation with difficulty.
When new power is added, then increase the number of coin minted every minute.
In effect it's the mining stability the real value of a cryptocurrency, it depend of the work and dedition of miners that choose it!  :D

We decided the Litecoin approach but more speed, it's working as we dreamt!
Consider the premine of 50000 is not that much (and i think pretty honest) in comparation of maximum coin minted in about 6 years of 30 millions of Trinacoin.

The scarcity is about 3 times of Litecoin but the speed is better.

So what do you plan to do with the premine? Airdrop maybe?

Onestly? We dont' have decided yet. We love our project so much that the priority is to see it grow and be useful!  :D
The community have the priority and miners too.
So if someone have some suggestion, we are happy to hear and valuate, because we are new to financial aspects.
Totally not experts of exchanges, etc.

Not a clone not a fork dear sir. It came with Litecoin code but many changes in the speed of transaction and scarcity. Read tecnical info please and compares with Litecoin ones.

For the value i am not of your opinion. The value of a coin comes mainly from miners that support it (like an engine that allows a car to move. the miners are the engine, the coins the petrol and we developers are the engineers)


If you was right Litecoin shouldn't be worth anything because is a clone of Bitcoin with some parameters changed.

not to nit pick... but you described a clone..... its not a new tech. not a new type of chain.  to use your analogy.. al you did was take that car that the miners are the engine of and put a new coat of paint and changed the rims on it....but no worries. 90 percent of the coins out there are  clones... just found this and was reading over everything.. no i dont want to purchase the chain.. but i do want to help you guys.. i work with a group of coders and developers that may be able to help you on future projects. There is a great security risk in using the asic mining machine algorithm. Malicious miners can quickly destroy this chain.
