When is usually the best  time to sell and buy alts in the year?

Always or let's say usually for me the right place is on alt-season. Outside of this not profitable in the long-term investing strategy.

According to a popular investment mantra, the best time to buy is when there is blood on the street. This, no doubt, applies to alts too. Stock up your portfolio when there is a general market downtrend and smile to the bank when the bull returns.

With the altcoins, I have realised the simplest trick that usually works has to do with buying when the price has really dropping drastically and hope that when it rise you can make some profit on your bargain.

I do quick sell, when my altcoin rises up to 10% comparing to Bitcoin.
I think that Bitcoin is the best investment that could be done, most of alts do not give such profit as Bitcoin (not counting IEOs)

My strategy in carrying out the mission to find the right time to buy altcoin is when the latest project does a listing on the market for the first time ... usually the coin will be dump... because bounty and airdrop participants will sell in bulkrun so the price will drop dramatically because will sell whatever the price ... they are just looking for profit without thinking about the development of the token ... then that's when we prepare the funds to buy it ... and hold it for several months ... then get ready to be successful ...

That is to buy altcoins which has potential to grow again in the market and popular. Some altcoin that drops wont recover on the market and lose value. Invest with amount you are afford to lose.

I think right now, and he can do trade and choose any coins because some of the altcoins have down and take will be a good time if he can choose the right coins to buy. We have two different type of market movement in crypto space ,one is bull market and the other is bear market ,its always a good idea to buy coins and tokens in bear market and sell in bull market

Bull and Bear market movements you talking about are long-term trends. Long-term trends consist of several intermediate trends and thousands of minor trends.
At the time of investment, if we try to read charts we could predict minor and intermediate trends only. It is not possible to deduce long-term trends in advance generally.

There are no specific timelines mate. I used to think that November or December is a good time for alts but I realized it's not true.

Each altcoin have their own timeline. The best way to know when to sell is to check the roadmap and to monitor the development of the alts you have.

each alts has a different movement so the time limit cannot be determined by when, and you won't know the right month if you don't monitor movement of alts, and in my opinion the right time to buy is when the price of bitcoin starts to grow, but that doesn't apply to all altcoins so you should keep researching as best you can before buying.

I guess the price of all coin is unpredictable. But this time is good to buy but not good for sell, because you will get the a little of money.

for buying check the bottom of the price, if the price fall down about -30% to -50% then buy your favorite altcoins..in terms of selling x3 or x5 sold it..don't wait for the price to go up, maybe the market and price is only playing

The growth pattern of altcoins differ. First you need to study the project you are dealing with, know the capacity of the team and consider their milestone.

The best time is now that I think the bullrun issue has become the best time and it's not just an issue right but bullrun has happened this year, so I think it will continue to be bullish this year.

There are no specific time if buy or sell altcoins. Because when it is move, it move very fast and we can't predict about it. As long you can get profit, i think no matter what time is it, you can sell your altcoins.

That only will work on lower volume coins. Its hard for coins to recover from those big drops with btc climbing up as it does now.

strongly agree, there is no time to ensure the right time when making a sale or purchase. just do a quick research of what you will do. I agree that altcoin is not a long-term investment, so if possible at this time it is better to focus on altcoins that already have a market instead of a new altcoin. because the new altcoin that is doing ico is very vulnerable to fraud.

I cannot understand too when it is worth beginning to buy Altcoins and what it is better to choose from them. Very many projects are pleasant to me, but I am afraid to be mistaken.
