I am extremely interested in bitcoin. I want to help developing bitcoin, but I have very limited time because I have a formal work.

I am quite good at programming and mathematics.

Can I earn bitcoin or other type of money while developing bitcoin core? If so, how?

You can earn BTC and other Crypto as a freelancer, by that i mean you could develop solutions for the existing projects or Create a Project of your own !

I don't think you can earn while developing bitcoin core? There are developers of bitcoin core but they are not asking for payment except for donation.

But I don't know any details, and if beginner contributors have an opportunity to earn anything. You probably should contact someone who contributes to Bitcoin and ask them, to get the correct answer.

you should never expect "payments" for contributing to something that is open source and is released under MIT license. that is not how that world works and this should never change.
if you want to earn money, then there are a ton of other things you can do. there are lots of jobs that require programmers and even those who are familiar with bitcoin and can implement things for them.

Donations are the only option I can think of, but it's best if you contribute without expectation of monetary reward.
