Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?
What's your opinion?

What are you talking about? Most altcoins are in green as well. This is something really different unlike 2017. With many crypto adoption and news about big companies this is really something good for the whole market. Of course, btc will dominate the market.

Only the top coins green but the other coins in the top 200 are turning red. Actually this market is showing very strong price increases but it only focuses on Bitcoin because today this coin value has increased by more than $10,400 in a very short time and BTC holders are feeling very happy in this time period. Now is the time for big change and if you want to make a higher profit then choose the new altcoin available in this market.

Almost ALL altcoin against BTC ratio is dropping, overall dominance of BTC is about 60(!) percent. You see 'green' because alts against USD is improving, due the BTC rise.

ETH will bounce to 0.031 for sure imo.

They are also coming up with bitcoin. We are officially in the bull run and most of the alts are going up together with bitcoin.
Rates in USD's now $307, it will soon reach $500+.

Altcoins will return to their historical maximum, but for this to happen, the main coin course should be adjusted. But it will be seen closer to winter.

The situation right now is really quite different from the last bull run, as right now it is not the hype of the crypto industry but rather adoption in most projects the only question right now is what altcoins will be a great player in the emerging market as not all of them will gain in this bull run.

If you think that increasing Bitcoin is now destroying Altcoin, I think you're wrong for that, with the increase in Bitcoin now it will make all Altcoin prices in the Altcoin trading market also go up, but be patient and wait until the time comes. So don't ever think positively about the current rise in Bitcoin prices.

There is no battle between bitcoin and altcoin. You are thinking negatively. Simply, Bitcoin is always the hot spot of the market. The adoption of growth is referenced in bitcoin, altcoin will follow when bitcoin maintains stability. That is like a rule of the market so just be patient with altcoin. it will shine later. ;D

Doesn't make sense to me, bitcoin can't crush altcoins and bitcoin will surge in price for long before altcoins start following same surge too as per past history and presently many altcoins are in GREEN

the only reason why they have always dumped in the long run has been because they have no usages. for example you can see bitcoin is used as a "currency" but other altcoins aka crypto"currencies" have never been used of anything other than trading. so people only treat them as short term pump and dump tools to gamble and make some quick money in large amounts. because of that they dump them right away as soon as they see better opportunities or see bitcoin price rising.

As you know Bitcoin is a prime cryptocurrency and others are after Bitcoin so when price of BTC increase than good coins price will also increase so don't worry Bitcon will not cursh altcoins.

Together with bitcoin can be seen as the growth and altcoins.Not at such a great pace,but I think there will be a sharp jump up.

This happens everytime bitcoin have a bull run. People buy bitcoin in two ways, one with fiat and other with the altcoins. Mostly they just jump into the bitcoin train by selling of their crypto holdings. The pressure of selling bring the price of altcoin down while buying bitcoin would keep on it's price rising.

I didn't expect Bitcoin to go up so fast, it made my altcoin buy a lot less, in just 2 months, I lost 50% of the value of the BTC investment.

I don't understand that you have lost 50% value of your btc investment. BTC has just started to increase and how it can be that instead of making gains you are on the opposite side? While most of the people now are happier than ever because the market looks good again, you are here telling us that you have lost half of the value of your BTC investment.

Learn from your experience that it's better to pack up more bitcoins than alts.

in January 2018 altcoins were being massacred and there was  big bloodbath going on with their huge dumps because bitcoin was dropping at that time!
and the only reason why they got some pumps during December 2017 was because bitcoin was stable at $6k price.

so that is what you should look for, an stable bitcoin so that altcoins can get pumped otherwise if bitcoin rises or falls the altcoins will dump.

We know of the sovereignty of Bitcoin and that it will take time for altcoins to reach the same level of adoption or even interaction. Now, to say that Bitcoin crushes the altcoins is to say that the market is 100%(Bitcoin) and the numbers consequently do not prove it. In my opinion, without the altcoins Bitcoin does not survive because its code base does not correspond to all the needs of the world, necessitating new projects corresponding to the demand.

ususally the development happen a lot for altcoin before bitcoin price reach its peak after bull run and because of some development price of altcoin can also rise. as of now the bull run is just starting and we still have few month of waiting process to see what altcoin will survive.

For now it's BTC rally, many alts have decreased in price especially in sat value. My stop loss triggered for CELR, ZIL because of altcoin dump. But I noticed some alts still remain consistent in price, example DENT. Low sats generally ain't doing bad right now.

Since altcoins have a price correlation with BTC, then I suppose we might experience a major rebound for altcoins very soon especially when BTC is nearing its previous ATH so that it would likely create a massive FOMO on altcoins respectively.

Little money coming into crypto space are put on bitcoin right now, the worst is that a lot of altcoins are sold to buy bitcoin, those gain from bitcoin will later be spent on altcoins.

Recent publication in one  of the  major article site in crypto says BTC is going  to be 100KUSD in the coming months.  If its going to happen, you are one of those lucky people in the world. Altcoins are also moving  up because of bitcoin rising. I don't see it not happening as it did in 2017. NEO spikes up to 28%, looks like the Chinese are speeding it up.

Without any doubt, BTC is the most famous coin on the market that prevents the altcoin raise. Once BTC stabilises on one price level, hopefully above 11k USD, we will see another great altcoin rush in the nearest future.

For the main time bitcoin will be making the headline since every $1000 addition to it's price will be a new all time high so we shouldn't expect much gain from altcoin except few selective ones like BNB, Litecoin etc. Although I believe, altcoin in general will bonces back. This isn't just a believe but a fact as sooner or later traders will take profit and decision to invest in other alternative coins to get more profit. Now this might or might not happen anything soon but there are every possibility of it happening.

This is competence. So who is strong he who will win. Bitcoin shows its prowess in the public eye. Bitcoin rose 100 times after a drop of more than a year. Bitcoin exchange rate is maintained. But unfortunately we only have an opinion without investing. And now there is regret for those of us who don't hold Bitcoin. Bitcoin "crushing" most altcoins really shows that it is the king of cryptocurrencies. Nevertheless, not all altcoins were affected, there are others that are still going up.
Also, although Bitcoin is having its time now, which is understandable but altcoins will soon have their seasons too, but might depend on the altcoin.

Bitcoin does not destroy Altcoin and what I see is that the market is all green, including Altcoin, and may only move too late to increase Altcoin and that is also influenced by the movement of bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the father of other coins or Altcoin and there will be an increase if bitcoin rises and all require process and patience and are always positive in assessing bitcoin.

There is no influence of a coin on another coin, because every coin has its own management and its own manager, even this bitcoin cannot stand without altcoi.  And vice versa, there is no dropping each other, what is there is mutual support, this is in my opinion

It's a normal thing within this space so Altcoins will still have their time.
I think this is the time we ought to be careful and mindful of the altcoins we invest in as most will likely not be part of the altcoins bull run neither will some recover.
At least now, we have seen that the crypto space has come to stay and there is no going back.

I don't think it's like that, maybe some will throw the altcoin to buy bitcoin, but at the moment most of the altcoins are green or more following the movement of the price of the bitcoin that has increased, so I think the increase in bitcoin has no effect on destroying altcoin.

Dominance of bitcoin is healthy but overall the price of every coin keep increasing so nothing wrong with altcoins with the price of bitcoin keeps increasing and more the price of altcoin also keeps increasing with this effect.

Most shitcoins even react to the price increase don't bitcoin is doing very good thing for the altcoins as well.

   I have same opinion like you Mersal! Bitcoin dominance is a normal thing, this price rise is good for entire crypto-market. Nothing is wrong with alt-coins,
some of them will follow this Bitcoin price rise, not all of them.
   This is Bitcoin season, after Bitcoin season we will have an alt-coin season, we just need to be patient.

The situation now very difficult for many altcoins, most of them grows very poorly on comparisons with BTC. I cannot understand, what will be farther. They have prospects for growth, but they still do not grow quickly enough. I wait for growth of altcoins because my portfolio is dependent on them.

Sincerely I don't understand the reason behind crawling of altcoins because back in 2017 both bitcoin and altcoins were running at same pace but different is the case now. I am still optimistic and I think things will change and altcoins will aso follow suit very soon.

Most of the coins follow it because the dominance may be.Really the dominance is just its market cap but it doesn't prove anything other than price but when we are talking about price it has major impact on other coins.

Over time, altcoins will also be able to return their value. It is necessary that the market recovered in first and that the main coins came back to normal. So we still have a chance to buy promising altcoins.

The big time had huge expectation in the middle of the investors that's me the imaginary things will happening and making the other investors to be say like this but there is no connection between the Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency so if we invested in any other currency then it is also make the future to be brighter for that investor but that I'm that you have to wait is more higher than the Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the market regulator, usually what happens with Bitcoin also happens with altcoins.

I don't think it would be like the previous bull season, there are a lot of altcoins.

This could be because in the last bear market altcoins lost much more value than Bitcoin especially some of the bitcoin forks lost more than 90% of their ATH value. This means they showed a weakness and people will think twice before they invest again after losing so much.

This is the expectation of so many people, but we might not be sure of what the time would be.
Certain things are just like natural laws, which will just happen. One would have made so much in the crypto space, had it been things happen exactly as predicted.
So many predictions are right, but time is a very important factor.

I don't think so buddy.. i think bitcoin is the leader in cryptocurrency, if the price of bitcoin is increasing then the other coins or alts will follow too. But it will takes time to increase the price.

This is the opinion that I think about. Most people say that if Bitcoin increases, altcoin will follow it too. And in fact it's true, every bitcoin increases, of course Altcoin will sooner or later increase too. We can see for ourselves that it is currently increasing continuously and Altcoin is like that.

It certainly seems like it, but everytime btc leads the race it usually helps boost alts as well.
There is enough space in the market for many different coins to be very successful you know.

One thing you have to be careful though, is coinmarketcap is very misleading.
You see everything in green, doesn't necessarily mean it is rising in value.
What you really need to look at is the price of the coin in relation to btc, eth, or a stable coin.
Since the price on cmc is an average of its going rate for btc and is based off of btcs value, you need to see the real numbers.

If you not, you could easily think your coin is doing awesome but when you go to cash out realize it's not as good as you though.

Your opinion is very wrong, bitcoin does not destroy the altcoin but instead helps the altcoin. If you observe correctly then you will know that bitcoin is a benchmark of altcoins, when the price of bitcoin rises then the altcoin will also follow it. And that's what happens now.

A large and uncontrolled increase in one time is usually a very influential altcoin. prices will experience a substantial decline. but not so long prices will also experience a substantial increase too.

I think most altcoins won't go back to their previous price. Also, I think that unknown coins have more chances to rise in price than coins from the top 30.

Bitcoin and altcoin will always go hand in hand and won't drop each other. Bitcoin affects the altcoin price and altcoin makes the price of bitcoin stable, I think both of them are closely related.
Altcoin is destroyed because of its developers, altcoin that doesn't have the benefit of just being a shitcoin in the future. Most altcoins are launched only for speculative purposes.

The correlation makes it hard to predict the next move of the determined altcoin. The crypto market has a invisible hand and this theory proves us to look for the correlation between top vs altcoins. Altcoins are depend on the price movement of the altcoins.

It's always the bully for bitcoin when it's going up in a long time,  BTC always rallies to the top first, this is done in other to check path to the top and see whether it's another  another road for bull to travel on, if It looks smith it come back to call alts after confirming whether the bull will be depending on his earlies trip

I dont know anything about this , well in fact altcoins blooms the same way as bitcoin. It is such that BTC is on the hype now and most of the people's attention is on it. If you would think and see openly, you can tell that altcoins is now building its name on crypto matket. BTC is not only the popular now.

Tons of altcoins which are already circulating in the crypto world, means we can see it in different angles. This is why some doesn't go with the flow and others seems to be parallel. But in general, this is quite good due to the market is slowly growing and hoping to have more greener colors in coming days.

The coins markets change in time. Sometimes when one coin has a bull run other coins have bear run but this can then reverse in that the bears runs becomes bulls runs and the opposite as well. We will see alts going into bull runs many times over the days the weeks and the months coming.

in my opinion bitcoin doesn't destroy altcoin ... because now is the time for bitcoin growth so many altcoin holders sell all their assets to be able to store bitcoin so they can benefit from bitcoin which is currently growing rapidly .. and don't worry about Altcoin because there are times when altcoins will slowly follow the footsteps of bitcoin ...

I guess the OP talked about the relationship of bitcoin to the altcoins. Basically speaking, there are massive changes occuring in altcoins when bitcoin moves (whether up or down). Therefore, altcoins are still dependent in bitcoin till now. I hope someday they reach out their ATH without the help of bitcoin.

I think that bitcoin won't destroy altcoin. the problem is that the growth of the altcoin is still dependent on bitcoin. so now bitcoin is increasing, of course, the altcoin will slowly increase again too. because the altcoin development process is happening slowly.

Most altcoins are really finding it difficult in this bull. Only few altcoins are almost following the bitcoin price trends, which is good thing. Substandard projects or scams do not deserve profits or increase in price.

We don't know yet if which alts will performed with this current condition, bitcoin is really making a good move and only few alts are moving

Sorry, I do not think like you, that Bitcoin destroys Altcoin. Bitcoin is the main coin and this coin becomes the icon of Cryptocurrency. We can see a lot of coins appear because they want to compete with Bitcoin. And when this Bitcoin rises, of course, all the coins are also impacted very positively. The increase in the price of Bitcoin is very high in the year 2017 and now it can be repeated again.

It seems to me that all strong altcoins will survive.  Those who will be pulled for Bitcoin.  And all the others will just disappear.  This is for the better because so many of them are already on the market.

The price of BTC has risen very fast recently. It attracts all the eyes of the market. If its price falls. Then the market will turn its attention back to altcoins. This is in line with market rules.

The market will soon correct itself, so expect a reduction in the price of bitcoin, if not a serious plunge. I just hope that people are not carried away by what they see in the market now, because very soon there will be a shift in market trend, which might not be general though.

This will always be the cycle, new coins will always be released to take the customers/users of the older coins, thereby crashing their value till they no longer become relevant. We cannot compare the saturation of these coins in 2017 to now, the projects are so much that the competition is becoming so terrible and investors/users are even confused of the ones to give their support too, and this confusion is what will always make investor just go for Bitcoin since it is still the only true reliable coin the market has ever had, when it comes to sustainability, decentralization and quality of its product.

I do not agree. practically all altcoins are lost and continue to lose to btc. all altcoins are red. if a dollar is taken, some coins have grown. Especially against the dollar, strong growth has been shown by eth, etc, ltc.I hope that all altcoins will soon begin to grow ro btc

Bitcoin did not crashed the altcoins. But because it is surging, some of the hodlers of altcoins change their investment in bitcoin as well as ethereum. It will just return back. In fact, it may goes up when market totally open for bull run season. We have to understand that bitcoin is the foundation of alts and it can cause a rampant movement in the market.

Market correction points are clear, where stops of long and short trading positions accumulated there will be an attack by the bulls and bears. Altcoins will continue to lose the market value and it will a catalizator one day for whole altcoin market.

If we judge right now, we will conclude that altcoin is not performing, but actually it's just temporary, bitcoin had it's bull run and I don't think altcoins will not have a growth soon. Investors are just too aggressive with bitcoin now as it's more profitable but in the long run this market will balance out and will result to an overall good performance, that's my view in the future.

Bitcoin now is trying to increase, the altcoin just on its way to following to increase but not all of the altcoins. The market will recover, and we will see bitcoin reach another highest price, the altcoin will do the same as bitcoin. But some people are still worried to see the altcoin which is in the red candle. Many of them have desperate to waited for the altcoin market to back to the higher price.

I think the same as you because we are not yet to see the altcoin price reaches the very highest price, which we predicted it would happen soon. I am sure that the market will come back at the highest price.

The market trend is like altcoins start increasing in price when bitcoin start increasing in price. And this trend has been in place for years. But the fact that price of altcoins does not go up on a par with bitcoin. So it seems bitcoin has affected price of altcoins when the market starts increasing. I don't agree if bitcoin destroys the altcoin for now. Where do you see it? When bitcoin experienced a tremendous increase, altcoin actually followed its movements but was a little slow. That's expect, the whole market just don't work synchronize in the early start of bull run, but sooner we shall see a good market like 2017.
I'm very optimistic now, I just convince myself than if I was able to hold last year, I think I can still do it this year until altcoins run starts, bitcoin is crushing altcoins now but this does not mean its trend will continue, trend will definitely change for the better.

Money flows into cryptocurrency though bitcoin and move to other altcoin when it is quite saturated and greed level is at the peak to make more bitcoin. There are speculation that we might side way movement in subsequent weeks, then more money in altcoin. Prospective altcoins should make awareness to attract attention. This may not affect  the shitcoins with crazy exchanges, those pumps are fake.

come on man, you know that is not true, bitcoin itself has not recovered its original price of 2017 and you are saying it crushed the altcoins? By the check the market cap, you will see some altcoins like ethereum, litecoin etc are doing very much better.

i think altcoin follow bitcoin if it rise, the problem is bitcoin is grow to high and not give altcoin to grow.
that mean when btc pump/raise very quickly altcoin cant follow it, but when bitcoin has break his grow then that altcoin time to pump.
but what we see a few days ago is that bitcoin is unstable and immediately goes down, causing altcoin to go down without an increase.

When bitcoin jumped up so fast altcoins ain't catch up that fast but when bitcoin plummet down the entire industry followed right away afraid of being

Bitcoin will never crush altcoins. There is a leader in any market and there are those who go near it. If the market capitalization of Bitcoin exceeds 70%, it will be very bad for everyone. The domination of one coin is not beneficial for anyone, so investors and traders will not allow it to happen.

As for me, Bitcoin always supported altcoins and always pulled them along as soon as Bitcoin went up, it dragged in and in the price of altcoins I see nothing bad and illegal here.

I think a more simple way of asking this question is... "Will alts repeat their same pump as they did years ago?"

And I expect the answer is, not really. BTC will most likely crush the alt price down, until BTC stabilizes. Where that is, who knows... 12K, 15K, 25K?

I expect alts to partially recover, but I don't think they'll do the 10x thing. More likely we'll see isolated pumps/dumps, some good coins increase at a slower rate, and a lot of bad alts die off.

Note that I am referring to alt price compared to btc, not fiat. When btc rises, alts generally go up in fiat... I think that is what some here are referring to when saying alts aren't being crushed. But as a trader, we tend to think alt-btc, as otherwise we are better off holding btc vs whatever alt.

Bitcoin has always stimulated the growth of altcoins as soon as Bitcoin grows behind it grow and altcoins, but now I understand the situation has changed a bit. Altcoin growth will be a little later after Bitcoin is restored.

Remember the year 2017, exactly the same picture. First, bitcoin shows explosive growth, then altcoins catch up with it. Many people know only the word Bitcoin, they have not heard about any other projects. I'm not so sure it's exactly the same picture though. Back in 17 it was also the time of the ICO craze. So we had lots of alts doing the 10x thing (or at least pretty big pumps) way before btc hit its ATH. BTC was also stable longer too, it wasn't really until late summer before BTC started really rising.

I do agree than alts should increase and we'll have some sort of altcoin season. I'm just unsure when it'll be and I doubt it'll be the same as 2017.

My analysis is very unlikely that bitcoin destroys altcoin. There is no fundamental reason. And I still have predictions that altcoin will return like 2017, even though it's a little slow and not as much as 2017, but there will definitely be good news. Dispose of negative thoughts, because this condition will continue to improve until next year.

Bitcoin price is surely increasing like a rocket now. Today bitcoin hit $12k and i think this uptrend will go on for a long time. Meanwhile the alts is suffering downtrend and slow growth. I think this is normal, altcoin will raise after bitcoin bull run.

This post doesn't make sense there's no one crushing anyone. If Bitcoin reached it full Price most of these investors are going to transfer their bitcoins to another altcoins and that's when the Altcoins will raised its price too. But we are not sure yet when will be the last price increase, because if we only new we would have buy more bitcoins today.

Honestly this year's bitcoin bull run is different from others, where bitcoin had continued to grow faster than altcoins, looking at most altcoins/btc charts, it appears like where there was an earthquake, showing a huge growth rate of btc against altcoins, there is no obvious indication that this trend will change

Although am not yet convinced about your theory of Bitcoin dorminance over altcoins rise which was clearly seen along side with Bitcoin, this is what happened even since from the beginning of every surge or bull run, all other altcoins take after Bitcoin gradually. Bitcoin remains the king and altcoins the followers.

From all indication, as Bitcoin  increases in value, the dip for altcoin is inevitable, this has repeated severally only for a few coin that won't be affected. Since the crypto space is unpredictable, nobody knows when the alts will pick back again, or if history will repeat it's self.

We might see some ICO in coming days, so dont be surprised. The confidence is back and some profits can be spent

I agree that altcoin will follow bitcoin price movements but that depends on the altcoin. If the altcoin doesn't have a large transaction and the project doesn't attract many investors, I think it's hard to follow price movement of bitcoin because many new altcoins are emerging with more promising projects for investors

In some altcoins such as Ethereum or Litecoin, maybe the price will be able to reach the highest prices like 2017 or early 2018. But many altcoins cannot follow the price movements of bitcoin because investors now have many good investment options

With that competition only few Alts will move up and make some good bounce after, not every projects will survive many will continue to fall and some might die naturally, bitcoin still the best option when you are willing to take the long ride.

We all know altcoins value depend greatly on bitcoin.  If for instance BTC starts going up in price, it means many are selling their altcoins for BTC, or FIAT money is coming into crypto market.  Now when many sell altcoins for BTC, the satoshi value of those altcoins reduce even when the dollar value doesn't drop.  Then when BTC drops in USD value, it affects the altcoins too with lower sats than before.  I believe altcoin season will come, BTC price looks somehow stable at 10k+ to 11k+ right now, so the sideways movement might continue and it's a win win for alts.

That's a normal dominance rate of bitcoin for now, it's been playing at 50 to 60% and that might stay for awhile when there altcoins will not start its own bull run. Today, bitcoin has drop and trading below $10,000 but the dominance is still the same because people are not transferring their money on altcoins yet, if the time comes they'll do maybe the market would be better and bitcoin will decrease its dominance to below 50%.

Bitcoin will never crush altcoins. In fact, altcoins are just following bitcoin. Wherever bitcoin wants to go, alts follows. But first, they will suffer as bitcoin will show dominance.

Bitcoin isn't crushing the altcoins, but the lack of growth on altcoins make the investors to move the funds into bitcoin. This keeps the market dominance of bitcoin to be much higher of 64% while ethereum struggles hard to cross 10% and the remaining being contributed by rest of the altcoins. This is why there is an outlook of bitcoin crushing the altcoins.

Some of that may be baked into prices already... or I sure hope it is. Right now it seems whichever way BTC moves, up or down, Alts go down (in relation to BTC prices).

BTC dominance is kind of crazy right now, and most alts are super cheap (at least compared to past prices). Which either means whales will gobble up alts and go on an alt run ... or BTC will simply crush alts into smithereens, with maybe a handful of survivors. But even the top alts, like ETH, are being crushed, so the survivors won't really be as profitable as simply holding BTC.

Hopefully this changes soon, as we don't want to see BTC as the sole viable crypto out there ... for multiple reasons. Even govts shouldn't, as most tech advances come from alts, not BTC.

Actually bitcoin has crushed the altcoins market many times. But that's the pattern of it, after the crushing there will be a retrieval and recovery period for most of them. As we've seen many times, when bitcoin gains dominance, alts are also having that blessing from bitcoin to increase.

The coin that already mentioned by OP was getting another big drop, but we have a funny story about how there was a shilling account that already created a recognition if he was investing on the shitcoin and said bitcoin is the best thing like Op.

I guess not the whole because if we will try to analyze, majority of the coins which has value until now are shitcoins or those coins that has no potential in the future. This is because of the lack of regulation, there is a massive increase of coins especially during the time when ICO was still popular and some of the teams are not really doing it to develop for long term, they just want to take advantage on the situation when people are still eager to invest, but look at what happen now, people have learn, they are investing on in limited major altcoins and mostly focus on bitcoin.

Funnily, the loud criticism of bitcoin over altcoins could be distraction as come people keep loading the cheap potential altcoin in their bags. You dont listen to the noise in the crypto market, just prepare your strategies to benefit from the current market. There are altcoins that became higher in profit last 2017 bull run and it's possible to happen again. The alts market is riskier than you are thinking because there were assumed to be good coins before but now many of them had gone and slow in performance.

I think bitcoin won't kill altcoins, because the market is different. Bitcoin is collected by rich people who have a lot of money so that for them the price of bitcoin which reaches thousands of US dollars is not a problem as long as trading results are profitable.
But altcoins that have prices of hundreds, tens, and even those below one US dollar are certainly opportunities for crypto traders who have little capital. While the profit percentage can be the same as bitcoin or even more.

Of course Bitcoin already out of the reach of the average people and it has been turned into store of value as big companies and goverment are getting involve in this. So that I also quite sure altcoins will get more attention when mass adoption will happen and it will explode very soon.

It is true that altcoins will bounce but I dont think the altcoins bull run is going to be like December 2017, January 2018. The dominance of BTC is 70% roughly at the moment. I think during the alt season the dominance will stop somewhere around 45-50%.

This is not the case at all,,, in fact the only ones that ever wanted to become Bitcoin killer is altcoins. Bitcoin does its own thing. It does not care about others. Some altcoins are still green but very few and these altcoins only serve whales, more precisely, whales except using bitcoin for profit, they use small altcoins to earn more, we can see the pumps operate very reasonably and planning. The current market situation is not affordable for getting in the altcoins with huge amounts. Many investors prefer to see growth rather than saving their money in the savings account. The recession phase is not done yet, altcoins still have a bigger room for worldwide adoption. Straight facts are the name of the power which doesn't let the investors invest more Bitcoin in the altcoins. The mass adoption will bring new features and the requirements will shift to the new level from my conclusion. The correction is the entry points of the active traders, overlooking the trade levels will not give an additional profit to the crypto day traders in my view. 

Altcoin is indeed correct as you said that the price dropped because it was influenced by bitcoin. but not all altcoin is affected and can still be good and they are also quite strong from the bitcoin movement. I hope that at the end of the year all altcoins can grow and produce the best.

Maybe you are just talking of less than 1% of the total altcoins in the market that are not affected, based on my observation, majority of the altcoins have dropped and ETH is a good example and it's the king of altcoins based on its ranking, but until now it still struggles to make a rally and come back to its good price, and if ETH as the king of altcoins struggle, it's expected a not so popular altcoins will also have the same struggle.

I think Bitcoin is now a stable coin at any stage and is always considered the best choice if you choose to invest long-term. Apart from Bitcoin, there is not any coin that has a stable growth like Bitcoin so altcoin is not a good choice if you choose to invest in this bear market. There are alts that investors would love to buy and I have alts which I really desire to have. If depends on what are those altcoins that are slow in growth, the market hasn't fully recovered from the long bear market we've been.

The movement of Bitcoin is very difficult to predict that's why altcoins are also wondering if its going to follow the bear market of bitcoin/ doing its trend by itself. Most altcoins are down but some altcoins are still doing their best and making future developments to make the price stable and make the project sustaining.

And you forget another thing, when Bitcoin goes down altcoin also goes down. The last couple of months has been different than altcoin movement we witnessed in the past. Or at least what I have seen. BTC can do a zig-zag up and down, landing at exactly where it started, and alts lose each step of the way.

BTC goes up, Alts go down (in relation to BTC). Some may go up in fiat, but only a smaller percentage compared to BTC. Not that unusual. What is unusual is that alts don't regain any value even after a waiting period ... and it's the entire alt market, not just some alts.

Yes, the altcoins will bounce back it's just a matter of time.  The bitcoin price got massive pumped from April to July where the price grew from $3k - $13k. We have now witnessed what called a bitcoin bull run,  we should now wait for the altcoins bull run.

I think the bias is still there and it will not end in the coming years. Because bitcoin is still the most popular and desirable asset, it always dominates the price competition for alts.

Depend on what altcoin is it, if that alt developer is still making progress then we cant say that bitcoin crashes them. Not anymore. I think altcoins will be comfortable for at least 15 days. We are having a short term altcoin bull season. Increases are volumeless because people are afraid of the sudden movements of bitcoin. Nevertheless i think we are in bull season for altcoins. After 15 days, I'll make an update on this idea, depending on the situation. There are two possibilities
1-Bitcoin will start the bull run and it continue to crush the altcoins as before.
2-Rise of altcoins will continue to strengthen and we will see a big altcoin season.

Altcoins bleed faster in bear market, not only because people feel safer but also BTC market cap is much bigger than any altcoins. It's not easy to move BTC up or down. I think people are anticipating a Bitcoin surge before anything else and want to capitalise on it. If you're down 90 percent on your TRON or whatever, you trade TRON to BTC, wait for the moon mission, then when BTC hits $15,000 or $20,000 you trade back to TRON which has dropped more, and you've doubled your stack.

People think that Bitcoin is substitute to altcoins but it is not. It actually compliments altcoins. In most of the cases, people have to first buy bitcoin with fiat money then only they are able to buy altcoins though crypto-only exchanges. Bitcoin is very necessary for the price development of altcoins. Whenever Bitcoin booms, it opens door for altcoins too.

It's not good to hold you alts for too long, just to expect successive increase on your holdings value. Domination will still not go down, and alt will still face a dramatic ratio of low-scale movements with a downward trend very often. if the investor you are referring to is a trader, that makes sense. Investors are just trusting BTC right now due to many scam projects from altcoins and may old altcoins is experienced a failure and fall down from top 100 ranking in CMC.

On the contrary.  When bitcoin starts to heat up and increase in value, most of the good altcoins at least will usually do likewise.  As they say, a rising tide lifts all ships.  Since altcoins are priced in terms of bitcoin, it makes sense that when bitcoin goes up or down altcoins do the same.

Not always, tho.  It is certainly possible that a flurry of buying of Eth, for example, could significantly increase its fiat value and that does happen.  But it isn't exactly like bitcoin is competing that hard against altcoins and will 'crush' them.

We cannot really be certain about this. If we are going to remember what happened on 2018 with bitcoin and altcoins, we can see the that there's a correlation somehow between the two. As the value of bitcoin goes high, so do the altcoins that are doing good. If ever we are going to see bitcoin have a new highest value, we should expect that altcoins would follow through later on. The cryptocurrency market favors bitcoin this year because the bitcoin dominated more than 65% of the entire cryptocurrency market. Altcoins market is sharing less than 35% of the cryptocurrency market capitalization. I agree with you . Cryptocurrency is often unpredictable and you can never be sure what will happen to this market. I think any coin can go up or down unexpectedly because the constant volatility of the market is the main reason why we have so many difficulties investing. Currently there are not many strategies to avoid the loss of investment and the best in all circumstances, stay calm and avoid panic sell.
