Title: This user is offering bitcointalk comment selling service Post by: TalkStar on June 24, 2019, 09:28:49 AM ANN Thread link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5157771.msg51580504#msg51580504
Archive Link: https://archive.is/LsVUZ Profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1239499 It is to notify everyone that this user is offering comment selling services for ICO projects. I think offering this kind of service is not appropriate for real ICO projects. I will request all our community users and ICO owners to stay away from this kind of services. I hope forum's DT members will take appropriate action against this user. You are DT member.Title: Re: This user is offering bitcointalk comment selling service Post by: HCP on June 24, 2019, 10:08:59 AM I think offering this kind of service is nothing but encouraging community users to engage with plagiarism. I don't see how you equate them making (relevant?) comments on a thread as encouraging plagiarism? ??? Did you mean shit-posting? or spamming? ???If anything... it's simply a "Thread Bumping" service ::) :-\ Title: Re: This user is offering bitcointalk comment selling service Post by: TalkStar on June 24, 2019, 01:42:23 PM You are DT member. Yeah I am. My intention is to let rest of our DTs about this users activity. Thanks for tagging him from your end. If anything... it's simply a "Thread Bumping" service ::) :-\ You are right,,, I just missed some part during reading that user thread and its because he described his service there in a different way. He used the word "crypto currency post" on the first part. Anyways thanks for detecting the proper service mate.Title: Re: This user is offering bitcointalk comment selling service Post by: Welsh on June 25, 2019, 08:50:57 PM I don't see how you equate them making (relevant?) comments on a thread as encouraging plagiarism? ??? Did you mean shit-posting? or spamming? ??? I'd agree with most of what you said that these generally cause issues with spam, however its not unheard of for these services to copy, and paste a lot of their content. So, really its just a massive pain in the balls across the whole field. The fact that some of these services are charging hundreds of dollars to do it is absolutely absurd. If anything... it's simply a "Thread Bumping" service ::) :-\ |
