I'm no expert on this but maybe this guide can help you out, (https://dev.bitshares.works/en/master/bts_guide/tutorials/) or this one (https://www.reddit.com/r/BitShares/comments/7n81hb/bitshares_collection_of_faqs_developers_guides/).

If you are going to hire someone to set up everything for you, then just be careful on who you deal with in this community, there are a lot of scammers out there. Just be sure to filter every applications and not to trust anyone with your precious money.

Scammer! Avoid him.

You want money from people to show the product before buying? Is that some special kind of business rule? If the buyer doesn't like the exchange or you literally show him two HTML pages, you've nothing to lose and get those free monies.

i don't think showing him a demo would cost you anything, in fact, it could even increase the exposure for your dex.

if your dex is easily copied just by showing a demo of the website, i doubt it will attract interest from users/potential buyers.

Be careful to scrutinize any offer you see. Most importantly, anybody than cannot provide a demo for you is not worth relating with and probably not their project. A little Google search might help you find even better alternative.

I think we already gave the OP the fair warning already and we do hope that he got the message across. So it is really up to him, take the risk of getting someone cheap and chances are running with his money with no working product, or choosing someone inside the community with experience and had the trust under their name.

It's so easy to pick the best options out there, and we can do as much as giving him good advises. The final decision is still up to him.

https://bisq.network/ Bisq is an open-source, peer-to-peer application that allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies in exchange for national currencies or alts. No registration required

That's not what OP wants though, he wants to run his own implementation of Bitshares or Peatio.
Not sure if that's even possible with Bisq.
