Hi all

I've been looking at the history of the forum, but I can't get back any further than the 5th thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5

topic=4, 3, 2 and 1 either don't exist or are inaccessible to me. I assume the latter.
Does anyone know the answer? Are these threads visible only to higher ranked members, or do they no longer exist? Or are they visible and I'm just typing the wrong URL? Or were they just test threads that were then deleted?

Sorry - it's a stupid question and probably has a boring and mundane answer, but it's niggling me and I'd like to know.

The first page of the thread is where you would be directed to when you click on the link. There is nothing in bitcointalk like a particular rank can not view any pages of a post. Example we are of the same rank and I can view all the pages on that

Unless the first topics and boards are reserved for staff. For example:

The traschan (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=15) (2, 3, 4, and some more too)

Topic 3 was deleted years ago, and it is unknown what happened to it. Topics 1 and 2 were satoshi doing some tests, and topic 4 was some administrative notes left by satoshi.

Topic 3 was Satoshi's proof of authentication, containing his address, image, private key and real name. Find the post somehow and you'll be the one to solve the mystery of Satoshi's whereabout.

Thanks, I knew I was doing something stupid!

If the topics are in trashcan then we won't be able to see or check it if it doesn't have any back up. I think I've seen the topic 1 before because of a topic in a thread I read. I think satoshi is testing something in the forum where satoshi nakamoto created a thread and asking something (If I remember it correctly) then later on most threads are created by forum users who had account already.
