I see bitcoin advertisements on youtube vids, everywhere. Definitely a good sign

Prepare for a new ath, ones bitcoin reaches a new ath the media reports on the ath will push it to like 25-30k.

the screenshot you shared doesn't make any sense! it is one frame of a random youtube video of someone who has drawn circles on a bitcoin chart! where is the "advertisement" in that? there are lot of these newbies on Youtube who are "analyzing" (sarcastic quotes) bitcoin.

It's targeted advertisement, if u are interested in crypto it's normal that you are seeing that stuff on the whole youtube.

I've seen bitcoin advertisements in a non-cryptocurrency videos; though it's very seldom. Bitcoin advertisements in youtube videos only mean that it is on the bullish period especially these past few week. Bitcoin has been rallying great.

I often see the ad on YouTube videos, so in my opinion it's normal, but it might be surprising if Google launches something similar with Facebook like LIBRA, nobody knows about the next Google development, I think if Google launches too, it will be the craziest news in this forum

Obviously, the price of bitcoin is going, so there will be a lot of youtubers doing some ads to make money out of the market.

You don't have to wait for mainstream media to push the price, actually with the current rise, there are already including it in their daily financial news. But definitely a good indication that bitcoin this year will be very good.

Bitcoin advertisement in Youtube is very effective and I think it is another factor why bitcoin is skyrocketing. More advertisement more chance of pulling people to invest in Bitcoin.

Casinos are going to make advertisements the most. If google allows gambling ads, they would have done it massively there.

I've seen youtube ads of BTC to, but yesterday I saw on TV, in the most expensive time of tvs propaganda

This is very good because more people will be interested in BTC, but when cryptos are advertised on popular ways, it's a signal to sell

Based on the watch history we get suggestions on the video to be viewed. To the same we get some ads relative to the new projects relative to cryptocurrency on the videos. Till now I haven't watched a bitcoin promotional video that gets the access to skip same as that we see advertisements between the videos. Soon this could happen, probably by 2020 YouTube will be full of advertisements related to libra.. lol :D

Here is the answer. ;D

It will be the suggested videos that will pop out once you watch about one thing consecutively. Same will go for advertisements.
When you are the highest paying then you will be the one who will pop out mostly for anything that is being watched.

Besides, for me this aint really a good sign. Just a sign for bitcoin to be a target again by scammers and other thieves that are in the shadows out here and everywhere in social media.

It does happen every time. I and a friend kept talking about bitcoin while we watch the youtube video about some documentary of BBC related to tortoise but all of a sudden the ads showing to use are related to BTC casino. I bet our phones were used and that they heard out our discussion about bitcoin. Try doing this on youtube and start coughing for 3 times, you might be able to see ads showing something like a cough medicine. :)

youtube has become one of the biggest social media at the moment. every day traffic of youtube visitors is increasing. now this is the right time for bitcoin to intensely promote on youtube, it is useful to attract investors who have long been lost due to the drastically declining market.

youtube is known to be filled with this type of crap. basically every time there is something new that people are attracted to, a bunch of video makers start a quick 5 minute google search about that thing and start creating dozens of videos about it.
obviously when bitcoin is gaining popularity and specially these days with the big price rise, a lot of them are becoming very active at creating their low quality content and posting them on youtube.

Point 1: Google shows ads as per your general browsing behavior so it's nothing like youtube specifically started showing bitcoin based ads. Even if you visit some random blog hosting google adsense on it, you will see bitcoin based ads.

Point 2: It isn't bitcoin ad actually. The advertisement is from eToro which was started as binary trading site and now shifted to social trading hence accumulated bitcoin trading on it too. These sites stress too much on MLM-based networking by giving huge referral commissions. So it may be possible that the ad you are seeing is actually created by one of the user of eToro who is seeking for new referrals.

I am not so surprised by the adverts on YouTube, often it happens every time I watch something and advertisements are always popping up, whether about trading or cryptocurrency, even very often and there are some youtuber promoting trading applications to each audience, so it's not surprising if there are lots of ads about Cryptocurrency ...

Ads are always tailored depending on what the users usually view on the web. Say for example, if I recently view chairs or beds on the web, ads would automatically display as my previous searches because Google somewhat saves those keywords on them for obvious purposes. Though I still find it funny that Youtube still allows crypto ads on their websites even though just a year or two ago, they imposed a ban on ads regarding crypto-related content but it seems that it has been slowly lifted over time. Even Google and Youtube is going bullish on crypto, hmm.

Should not be bitcoin advertisement but rather promoting companies services. And like the being exampled on the screenshot, that's not new.

ETO*O's Youtube advertisement is regular continuous, the same with their competitors, even prior and during the dominance of the bear market so basically "the current trend is not the reason"why you are seeing ads like that.

There's a sort of factors why you are seeing ads like that. Sometimes, more annoying if you are browsing videos on YT while being logged on since it will be easy to determined what ads/videos should place to you.

Well I think it is not only bitcoin. This usually happen when one user has been identified by the google, facebook, youtube and etc. about the frequently visited sites of that user. And since you are frequently visiting bitcoin sites so youtube has suggested you or shown you a lpt of bitcoin ads. This is how they manage ads in youtube and I am also been seeing some btc ads lately after visiting youtube channels foe block chain and cryptocurrency.

I've been seeing crypto related ads during the bear market, now isn't any different. It really just depends on how your browser is tracking your activity so it knows what type of ads to give you.

Without advertisements on YouTube, there are already many people in various parts of the world knowing about Bitcoin because they already have a local cryptocurrency community, the spread of cryptocurrency ads on YouTube is not just an algorithm because I rarely watch cryptocurrency also get Bitcoin ads on youtube.

Right, most of the time, like in my case when I watched more about cyptocurrency or bitcoin then tendency is that advertisement related to bitcoin will come out but if it’s not then another ad will come out. Their might be a handful of advertisements about crypto but not everyone got to see them.

Yes it all depends on what you search the ads would be different on everyone if they aren't looking for crypto related stuff
Then the chance that the crypto advertisements aren't going to be shown to them.
But as of now I think crypto is really making some huge noise again and people are getting interested in Bitcoin again because of its current pump.

Since Bitcoin reached the $1,000 mark there are already a bunch of Bitcoin videos on YouTube and after it reaches its all time high on 2017 then more videos was created regarding ICOs and Crypto mining. It's a norm when Bitcoin's price is in an uptrend that multiple people are getting into it and technical analysis about the crypto market will be the front act of those wanna be crypto experts.

YouTube is the number one social media platform when it comes to visual aids and advertising there is obviously the best choice.

YouTube is a very popular free platform.It seems to me that this service has brought some success in the development of all crypto.Is the price of Bitcoin interrelated with this service, I do not know, but judging by today's price, everything is connected!

Agreed. Bitcoin doesn't need any marketing on social media for people know it exists. Altcoins need it because they don't have anything but empty/false promises to attract noobs with.

Most of the crypto related ads I have seen so far are shady investment based ads where they promise you crazy returns, or new derivative platforms that most people haven't heard about. It's one big shit show.

I'm expecting the number of these ads to increase rapidly if the IEO space starts bubbling up for real. People don't seem to take it serious yet, but it's only a matter of time before it exploxes.

I think with the latest spike in the price and the media coverage that Bitcoin is getting, the YouTube algorithm just push relevant content to the front and when people read more about this news, it generates more Bitcoin related content to people's page.

The problem is that the algorithm cannot distinguish between good and bad content and you will also see a increase in FUD and scams and misinformation that are spread to the ignorant public. ::)

in my opinion since 2017 the end of youtube has given many permission to crypto, and in the past I often saw the ICO on youtube. And in the middle of last year it seemed that there was probably nothing due to the red market. yes, it is not surprising that LIBRA will be present.

It is normal to see crypto related advertisement on your youtube account if you have strong interest in cryptocurrencies. Remember YouTube is owned by google hence most advertisements are based on your daily interest and the things you usually check online.

I think an advertisement can't make btc reaching new ath, btc need real implementation and usage, the legality and adoption from the governments is the key to new ath, the popularity of bitcoin already really high, it doesn't need any advertising anymore

Well I'm always on YouTube but I think I haven't seen bitcoin advertisement yet. If there is, I think it's kinda rare. Except if you watch bitcoin related videos on yt. But if it's other kind of video, it's so rare. So I think it's also good to have bitcoin advertisements on other kind of videos to ptomote bitcoin on other people and ti get their interest

I have been watching it several times while on youtube and most of the advertisements usually promote the exchange or binary trading and i think that's good to introduce crypto to the people although some of people who watching youtube are more likely does not too concern to the advertisements itself and usually skipped

I always see the banner of bitcoin in youtube using the trading platforms. Unknowingly, they promote also bitcoin. I guess, those who see bitcoin banners are those who are engage in cryptocurrency. The ads that are played on your account on youtube solely depend on your preferences and especially the topics that you usually search on google. Since both mediums are connected to one another, it is to no surprise that bitcoin ads would play on your device. However, what i do usually see are articles related to bitcoin. They do tend to pop up at random intervals, with the headline pertaining to its recent increase in price, as well as its benefits to the consumer. I just hope that people will take the time to read such an article and would begin to take an interest on the world of cryptocurrency.

Yeah it is pretty good and nice for us because they are seeing the opportunity and they are going to get it.

Now they will probably try to push up more, until where? That is a pretty good question but it's pretty obvious. People complain about too many ads in some channels, if they are Bitcoin related then that is really really good since honestly practically everyone i know watches Youtube, even sometimes.

There's an algorithm on youtube and especially in google that uses your data to determine your most viewed/browsed sites. Once they determined it, they will show the exact ad that is related to you. So if you're searching about bitcoin then probably they will show cryptocurrency related videos on the ads.

It's been like that also at the same time your advertisements are what you search, they vary from person to person thus how much mass media they are covering is quite unknown.

Since years people are posting videos about cryptocurrencies and what it is, which was already going on since 2009, so I don't think it will be that big of a influential factor ,but we can see how Netflix have fuled some spark thus it might do good , but it can't be a fool proof method .

Do you mean the new documentary that they are making about altcoins? Maybe. But if the interviewee, mostly altcoin founders, will just talk about negative things about bitcoin, then it will do more harm than good. Do not put too much hope in it.

Its been said that google is controlling what people shall think for anything. If google only displays negative comments to bitcoin as the search result of the people searching for BTC, it will affect the decision making of the individuals looking for btc investments. Youtube is no different from google, they are one. Google own youtube. Its not the ads that make bitcoin price surge, its the market demand and for BTC to have demands it has to start the adoption.

Advertising can mean a lot, some want to share knowledge such as holding courses or learning about cryptocurrency. Or there are also those who advertise their affiliations, and of course the purpose is to get money. I wasn't so surprised by such an ad.

Advertisement is a good promotional tool for everything not only for bitcoin. But most of the advertisement i saw in Youtube is all about trading fiat currency and not cryptocurrency. It doesn't matter on bitcoins value,growth and demand. Anyway,bitcoin is already popular in different countries even without Youtube advertisement.

I see a fair few crypto avertisements on youtube too, but what used to drive me mad was getting endless daytrading/forex adverts! I was already superaware of daytrading as at one point i was doing it fulltime everyday with investors, and it drove me mad to get endless adverts about it when i was trying to relax and forget about it :D

Yes I also noticed it too but there is an explanation for that and of course a valid reason. They are using the targeted viewers to put some ads to those people who actually interested into their ads.
Well, it is still good to know that ads about cryptocurrency are still circulating and more powerful today, if this continues for sure market, will be loaded about by traffic and investments of trader will benefit into it.
They will for sure increase the number of trader and investors.

It's because of the algorithm of youtube and google searches. We, who search for bitcoin/cryptocurrencies on google, it will automatically be saved to their database and most of the ads that we'll see will be based on crypto ads. Just like etoro and other trading sites. This kind of advertisement isn't new and it's not really highlighting bitcoin but only their service. Though there's already an exposure for bitcoin which is still a good thing but it doesn't mean price will go up just because of ads.

The same thing happens with google ads as well. Though I have seen some pretty blatant scams advertising on google and then they blame crypto instead of themselves for allows ing HYIP project to advertise on their network. So easy to pass the buck.

It's depend on what type of video do you see, usually when you seen any crypto related video , the ad will appear.
So far I'm never seen any crypto advertising when I watched youtube ( education,gaming channel )

But if the crypto ad keep exist and expand, it will bring great exposure in the future

Strange, I don't notice so many bitcoin ads on YouTube. In the video, advertising often appears, but mostly it is advertising of some goods or brands. Crypto advertising is not as much as we would like.

For some reason, on YouTube, I see the most advertising of various products and social networks, and not cryptocurrency. Certain videos and the YouTube Channel can advertise cryptocurrency, but not advertisements for YouTube itself.

If we are talking about the dissemination of information about cryptocurrency, then specialized channels should be created, where they will speak and talk about new and existing projects. Although I understand that advertising can not get rid of, and that this is the only driving force for any existing business.
