Recently I saw a news about Facebook crypto. Facebook Authorities saying that, they launching a new virtual currency called Libra. I heard libracoin will release in first half 2020. I think, it is very big news for crypto revulation in whole world. Once a time facebook was not support crypto/virtual currency but now they launching their own currency. Many people says Libra project will help crypto globalization and developing bitcoin and other coin centralization. Many people thinking, Libracoin will very popular like as bitcoin.

Bitcoin development will still continue to move forward, adoption will still continue to slowly increase, and Bitcoin will still remain as one of the best inventions in our generation.

Facebook coming up with its cryptocurrency will surely make a big difference globally. As of now there is lack of understanding and knowledge about the cryptocurrency, now with the launch people will get to know much about cryptocurrencies. This will lead more common people to use cryptocurrencies, and people doesn't stick to a single asset they needs multiple access. This will let more to give a try on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. By this I believe in one way or other libra from Facebook is good for growth of entire cryptocurrencies.

Libra will be a global currency (Instagram, What'up, Facebook). A lot of people will have to use it.

I'm afraid Libra will be adopted better then bitcoin..

It's indeed very likely, and there's no problem with that. Libra is a centralized coin that's backed by assets. Due to the simple fact that it's centralized, chances are, UX will always be better because it's basically a stablecoin. Think of it just like a potentially better PayPal.

But crypto isn't meant for centralization, bitcoin is decentralized and libra is going to be centralized.

I'm just looking at the brighter side that libra is going to endorse the use of crypto which mainly aims bitcoin's adoption.

Libra will be used a alternative to the Tether and UsdP in my opinion, the existence of Facebook coin will accelerate the mass adoption. Cryptocurrencies are the future of online payments, so Facebook did a right choice with making a stable coin for social media.

it can really become one of the popular crypto because it backed by a lot of different company especially facebook
some say it will overcome bitcoin but thats really impossible we all know that there a lot of crypto try to overcome bitcoin but never succeed.
bitcoin only use all the other altcoin to get more awareness in my opinion it will be the same in libra.

Ban all crypto currency related advertisement and then make your own crypto currency. Lol. This is just straight hilarious. Again, if you didn't know, this is going to be a centralized coin with heavy regulation. Why would we need a centralized coin when we already have e wallets like paypal?

Yes, I assume with FB follows to create its own coins, crypto world will have new support. At least, it means FB recognizes that digital coins like Bitcoin and altcoins are very needed for future life. I am sure, after this surprising news, crypto adoptions will increase rapidly since people trust more in crypto future.  

We don't know what is gonna happen with the Libra, but it is true that Libra coin invention is agood news for the crypto community. People were asking about the BTV mass adaption, last year everyone talked about the ETF, SEC, Mass adaption and Libracoin is here to make that everything.

We cannot sure if this launching will bring a big impact to the market as what I know Bitcoin is the king and no one can replace or defeat its potential for me this libra coin is an ordinary like other stable coin but its good to know that facebook enter to cryptocurrency world then more and more will encourange.

I don't see Facebook's Libra coin as a threat to any of the existing cryptocurrency and especially not to Bitcoin for the following reasons:

1. It is centralized and cannot be taken off the Facebook platform and kept in your own personal wallet.
2. The U.S. government has asked facebook to halt all developments of the coin until they've had a chance to look further into it.

This is just a small hurdle for facebook and I think they can overcome this. If Libra continues, it is a big exposure for cryptocurrency and blockchain. Hopefully, this will also have a positive effect on adoption to bitcoin.

We'll see what will happen later. Now a lot of information about Libra Coin. Of course I am very much awaiting the arrival of Libra Coin launched by Facebook.

the most obvious is that the crypto system will be used by many companies and this will have an impact on increasing the price of Bitcoin or Altcoin but this will also have a negative impact on conventional currencies because there will be many people who leave the payment system.

I Think It Is Positive News For Us. Facebook is Trusted organization. When Facebook launch a cryptocurrency then Cryptocurrency Market will be More Trasted for Traders and investors. So i think that Facebooks cryptocurrency Libra will Come and This market will be More Trasted For all.                   

I think this news has become the most interesting in recent weeks, namely Libra. In general, there has been news that this coin will become popular, because Facebook is the main character of this new project. Why this much craze for Facebook coin? I can see many people sharing this libro coin information over telegram WhatsApp and this forum as well. If we need to invest on Bitcoin we may ask the doubt.but asking about untrustworthy coin and which gonna vanish the decentralized cryptomarket is not worth.

Yes I think that we do not have enough information so far to decide if Bitcoin would be outshined by Libra or if Libra would be the king of the crypto. We have just limited information and on the basis of the information available, I can say that Libra is going to be a best addition into the crypto market and that it will attract more people to invest for their convenience and international transactions.

For me i see 2020 as the biggest year for the crypto markets, libra will also have explosively positive effect on the adoption and mainstreaming of crypto, i think 2020 will mark the start of not only the adoption but also the domination of crypto all around the world.

I am also very optimistic about Libra coin that Facebook is planning to issue. Many people have put their different views about Libra coin, some positive and some negative.
But my opinion is issuance of the coin will help cryptocurrency to be adopted widely. Its impact will be on the crypto market there is no doubt.

Because of the Facebook have billions of the users in the entire world and even a child,  teenager and older peopel are using Facebook and that's I think why the Libra coin can become popular just our king. If the Libra coin launch in 2020 the effects we really know that even we are thingking they have good news because it help to grow the crypto community but we do not know what is the bad side effects of launching this coin.

even though libra is a stable coin I am very worried about its existence which can damage the btc or alt ecosystem.

Well, this is not a new news again, as you can see that we have loads of topics for the past few days now that has covered this news fully, and we have all given our own opinion in one way or the other as regards the intending release of Facebook coin. First I will say it is a good new, and at the same time, it looks like sad news to be.

Good news is that it will open the eyes of a whole lot of people into the cryptocurrency industry, and adoption rate for cryptocurrency would increase which we might be lucky enough to have bitcoin get more of the newbies that will get exposed to cryptocurrency if the other thing I am thinking of this coin would not be true, which I see as sad news.

The sad news is that people will fall for this coin, and I am suspecting that the government is just trying to use Facebook as a tool to manipulate the cryptocurrency industry by creating a centralized coin they can have control on and be free to monitor.

And what is the source of the claim the mate you relied to have, because I never read anywhere that says government asked Facebook to halt their operations, prior to the time Facebook officially announced the coin and even released their whitepaper, there has been so many rumors as regards the Facebook coin, and at that point was where Facebook was called to clarify their intention on the proposed cryptocurrency which I believe they must have sorted out.

No one wants to ever have issue with the United State government as a citizen, and we all know that is where Facebook operates from, and for Facebook to have still come out openly to announce their Libra coin, then they must have definitely sorted out things with the government.

It's hard to tell how exactly Libra will influence the market, cause we still don't know how exactly this coin will look like. I think I have also heard about that news. Its not being halted, its being opposed until such regulation to cryptocurrency is passed. Facebook about to release their project Libra will pressure the government to finally pass such law. They had been delaying all these that ETF was one of the reason for some group to manipulate the price. The regulations has to really be cleared this time.

all crypto enthusiasts that really understand what is happening here know that libra coin is just a token and not really a cryptocurrency because it is centralized and we all now that facebook will never create something that they cannot control because they are a company. Now, when it comes to crypto adoption, i believe when facebook created something that we can use our real cryptocurrencies inside their platform, we can be able to pursue wild adoption.

I am sure that cryptocurrency globalization can help Facebook to popularize its cryptocurrency. But Libra can have a very bad impact on other cryptocurrencies and devalue them. And also to break the basic foundations of cryptocurrency.

Nothing is going to happen. If you're thinking that launching libra coin is maybe going to make all cryptocurrencies to skyrocket in prices, then you're think wrong. Nothing at all is going to happen and if you don't know, the Facebook Libra coin is a stable coin, so this shouldn't be a topic. I don't even think I'm going to make use of that Libra coin cause stable coins are not really my thing and I haven't used any one of them for once, not even the USDT that a lot of people do mention in this forum.

Death of Crypto, because Facebook is launching one? No I don't think so that's very far, in fact they are going to help Cryptocurrency for massive adoption, and more popular to the masses who until now are having a hard time to fully understand how it all works, Facebook will be a contributor.

Yes, the validity of cryptocurrency still continues to be a conversation in several countries, especially in my own country. What happens in 2020 will probably remain the same as the previous year in my country, we just wait whether the project libra will give a breath of fresh air or will lose competitiveness with the rulers of cryptocurrency.

Libra will definitely end successfully, seeing that the Facebook platform is already used by many people in the world, if Libra becomes a coin for their utilities on Facebook, such as payment for advertisements, games etc., I believe this will be a success and a threat to financial service providers like Paypal

For facebook libra no they will not  conduct ICO becuase they have too many partners willing to invest money thats why they do not need anymore investment .
The only problem is if they can really launch that coin next year, i heard there still many problem need to be solve and other partners also leave the partnership.
