Finally, we have started to see a big pump and a bullish trend of btc. But the more btc is pumping the more altcoins are dumping. and now maximum coin is in the bottom really. So generally I want to know some coin which was started their journey before 1-2 years ago which are now really very bottom. Like last year the price was 3$ now the price is only 3 cent. So we can see another ATH of these coins? Or the team will go away with the project money. Please share your opinion/experience about this issue. Thanks

i think most of cryptocurrency alredy hit the bottom few months ago mate
and now the price of altcoins start climbing in USD terms but not in bitcoin terms, because bitcoin is growing hard, so, a lot of altcoins hodler convert their alt to bitcoin  ;)
but soon altcoins season will show up, just wait a little bit more

There's a lot of them but I got reminded of this coin in particular: Minereum (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minereum/) I think it's pretty much dead in the water. A project with an unknown team with almost zero social media presence. ATH close to $8 and now at $0.004 per CMC.

for some good altcoins, they will last and go up following the market. but for others, I think it will be abandoned. as long as the project develops, it will be fine. and after the price of bitcoin is stable, sooner or later it will definitely rise.

Its only a matter of time before altcoins start surging ,many have give up on altcoins and converted their altcoins to bitcoin already but I believe that altcoins have hit their lowest limit weeks ago so the situation will change

The future is still very uncertain, because the volatility is back. The market can raise 20 percent within hours and lose 35 during the next day. They are very unpredictable at the moment, thats why I am staying out of the market now.

Bitcoin dominance is the highest it has been in literally years, it's not looking good for altcoins right now. It seems other than the big five, BTC, ETH, USDT, XRP and possible EOS, there isn't much space for anybody else.

Once Libra comes along, it will probably enter the top 5, making gains for smaller coins even more hard fought. That being said, there are still some gems out there that will experience monster gains, but gone are the times when practically any altcoin in the top 100 would climb faster than BTC.

Yes, the bitcoin dominance is now 62.7 %. And yesterday /previous day  was more than 64% that was seen on 2017 last.  Hmm, I know that this time is not for Altcoins. And it will be better for altcoins when the bitcoin dominance will be less than 50%.

The future of altcoins seem uncertainty now with the laggy movement and every investors are in worries, I still don't know what the outcome will be but I will wait and see what comes next, I still find it hard that altcoins won't benefit from this present bitcoin bullrun as many predictors are predicting on the internet

I think the logic here is that a lot of investors sell their altcoins to buy bitcoin. In a way, this move has been increasing the price of bitcoin very fast. This is also evident in the cryptocurrency market dominance, bitcoin has 62% dominance. Bitcoin is actually on the go now but I believe the time of altcoins will surely come.

With a pump from Bitcoin, Altcoin had also followed it up. When compared to a few years ago, I think it's very different in price.

When you say there are a lot of them, I'd like to point out that Yobit currently has TONS of altcoins listed, and most of them are completely dead.  If you own any of them and put in a sell order, you'll never get it filled.  For a while, they were giving away some of the worst of the worst, and I currenly own PWR, TOKEN, EPC, STRB, and ASAFE.  If you asked me what those coins are, I couldn't tell you--but I can't sell any of them because there aren't any buy orders in sight.

Just because a coin has been beaten into the ground does not mean it's a good buy.  Do a little research into a coin's community and liquidity.  Right now there are hundreds of altcoins around, and I would venture to guess that only 15% of them have any future whatsoever.  Probably less than that, but I'm in a good mood right now.

That doesn't bother me in the least.  As long as an altcoin is increasing in terms of fiat, I'm cool with that.  If it goes up in terms of bitcoin, all the better.

you can say that all altcoin right is very cheap but its risky to invest right now
because you dont know what coin still have active development team

There are a zillion coins that went from a high (or insane) ATH years ago and is basically worthless now. One I recall, not because of anything special, just because it seemed so ridiculous at the time, was Dentacoin. I believe it was top 100 for a while and worth more than some actual decent coins (or at least decent from a technical perspective).

Of course the price completely tanked.

If the OP is looking for a coin to invest in, not sure I'd recommend reaching so low. If wanting to take that kind of risk, he'd probably be better off just looking for a new coin and hoping for the best.

Bitcoin has indeed been seen very clearly showing remarkable achievements lately by touching above the price of $ 13,000 and that makes everyone smile. I am also waiting for Altcoin's turn to start moving significantly and take advantage of the current market situation. To be honest, for now I'm not interested in a new project, because it has made a loss on my investment. I prefer the old project and the real quality of the top 10 altcoins.

The moment of alternative cryptocurrency is coming also, it's discouraging bcos of frequent altcoins price dip. Maybe altcoins will be bullish in last quarter of the year but there is no such signal presently.

this situation is more developed and more helpful for the investors to get good profit and like the previous 2017 this time also most of the cryptocurrencies had the future like to be developed more than that year and I think this time it will be double its value.

Whatever might be happening now should not be any form of discouragement to anyone, because there will still be some changes.
Who even knows if bitcoin will continue to grow or the it will correct at the point it is now. If care is not taken, it might dump more.
Stability in it's price, will result into the growth of altcoins.

Perfect wait for the right time and patiently control ourself if bitcoin reach the bottom level for all time high the tough altcoins listed in market possible to uprising, some of them at this recen t bitcoin price increase they also increase little bit. I think coins mentioned by op is the shitcoins either the reason reason not rising is because lack of support from the devs or abandoned protect after making money.

Only the strong coin will survive, and it will rise back after a long time at the bottom of the price. And soon, the altcoin will start to compete to make a new position at the market, and we could hope that one of our coins will be the next coins that can increase higher. So the altcoin will always move up and down following of bitcoin, and it will be back to the high price after this.

Before thinking if those coins that a very low price will survive or pump you need to check the activities within the platform; that is, is the team really doing anything to drive the price up? Are there partnerships which will drive the price up etc? If the team are idle or aren't encouraging then it might be they have abandoned the project.
This year I have seen most projects which are low in price but their team is actively working in improving the platform; projects like this will survive because what investors needs is tangible reasons to hold on, and once they see one, they will hold.
So check those projects to know their plans then you will decide.

Yes, the market dump last year was really terrible as it were out many projects while most team gave up etc. Now from time immemorial there success of any platform be it in the crypto space or out there totally depends on the team behind the platform. Yes the market took a downturn last year and with it many altcoins, but what about the team? What is their stand and what actually are they doing to revive the price of their coin? You and I can only promote a platform we are in, but the greater task lies on the team.
The truth is, any coin that is not showing any signs of recovery at all, check the platform could be or rather most of the times that the team have abandoned the project. While on the other hand, if the team is working according to their roadmap then give it time the price will recover gradually.

To be frank after the market dump last year, only the strong altcoins have been surviving while regaining gradually while those with nothing to offer keeps going down.
Also, most projects last year were products of hype thus part of the reasons they aren't regaining. Therefore when a project aren't regaining and team isn't active either it could mean in thing, the team have abandoned it. Also, from another angle some altcoins might be low owing to Bitcoin growth, thus being wise to wait for altseason to set in then knowing if it will grow with the trend or not.

GOVERNMENTS ARE PREPARING TO SEIZE CRYPTO

The banking establishment  is beginning to become aware of the threat of crypto.

 As crypto gains more traction  as a monetary asset it is likely that there will be considerable backlash by central banks who will  coerce government to severely limit access to crypto by the likes of  retail persons. The arguments used to justify such legislation will most likly be based on bullshit  excuses such as investor protection, or the prevention of money laundering.

There are already initiatives in the US to ban crypto. Also, has expressed considerable reservations about the power of crypto to undermine central banks. To put it simply, regulators will try and destroy or severely restrict access to any crypto asset that becomes popular enough to threaten the power of major fiat currencies.  Remember, from 1933-1975 the US government banned private gold ownership to prop up the federal reserve and to establish its  monetary monopoly. The same thing will happen in the future.

The EU's anti money laundering regulations 2017 require all eu based wallet providers to identify wallet holders. This is because governments want to iidentify crypto holders especially large crypto holders. The EU is implementing the legislative infrastructure for a mass seizure if the bnking establishment decide that crypto must be banned in order to protect their monetary monopoly.


There are efforts in the US to ban crypto  in order to protect the federal reserve and by extension the private banks that own the federal reserve. Once the legislation passes you expect the us to threaten sanctions against any country that does not either ban or severely limit any crypto asset that threatens the federal reserve.

Now i believe most altcoins are in bottom price and this the time for entering them. But we should have to select most productive top altcoins for investing. We have to make our confidence about altcoins by considering their technologies. And i thinking investing on altcoins should be consider as long term investing with considering bitcoin's behavior. 

I think to see another ATH of those coins or rather any coin depends on the team.
Studying a coin like ETH or BNB, you will see a clear definition of a team who are out to bring a change in this space. So any project or coin with this kind of team will always grow or recover from its low state.
Also, most team might give up on the project which will further cause a dump in price in this case you won't be expecting anything.
So in all, only the strong survives.

Altcoins will explode beacuse of libra.

Libra will topple the  monopoly of central banks. It will most likely be a stable coin that will bridge crypto to the stability of fiat. It will vastly improve the profile of crypto as an alternative monetary asset. Facebook is large company. But libra is a necessary to smash the stanglehold that central banks have over the money supply. Libra is unlikely to undermine bitcoin because its a stable coin its value will not be as volatile as bitcoin's. Therefore libra wont be as attractive as Bitcoin for trading/speculation.  Cypto entrepreneurs are free to challenge Libra once it has displaced central banks allowing a geuine free market.


Government and regulators are the enemy of crypto. They are in the pocket of central banks that fear crypto .

some potential altcoins will definitely follow bitcoin price movements when market prices experience a sharp increase. some altcoins will be below when the bullish trend in bitcoin occurs, of course it only applies to shitcoin who don't have devs support to continue to develop the tokens they launch so that their value will continue to decline and have no value at all because it has been abandoned by the investors involved inside it

Future of altcoins is so unpredictable and even now it seems like altcoins is so hard to grow. the market is still confusing. But i really hope because of bitcoin is growing now, altcoins will follow soon.

no one can predict the future but i think altcoins future is bright and over all cryptp market will grown huge and strong altcoin will go up with bitcoin.

of course we can see again another ATH of these cheap coins if bull run happens again, but you must pick the potential altcoin that good for long term like ETH.

Many people dump altcoins for bitcoin and its a shame that altcoins only gain value in USD and not BTC ,this doesn't mean altcoins won't make a come back so day but the question is when?

Due to past conditions of low market , altcoins are not doing great. Even that investing in altcoins will make you loose your money. But altcoins are related with bitcoin and now the price is up, so altcoins will also grow with this situation.

The HYPE doesn't let us to think clearly about the situation, unfortunately. Good profits will flow to the purse if investor can choose good more than projects. Small market cap altcoins have great return on the investment compared to the top coins.

I would recommend you to stick with the basics that means if you are holding good alts and you still believe in the project and team then keep holding and sooner or later you will reap the profits while of you take loss and panic sell personally i do not support such strategy.

Nobody is able to answer such a question, especially now. The volatility is back and the market has become very unpredictable, plus you never know if a whale wants to push the market forward or put another 100 million sell order that crashes the market without any reason.

I believe all dumped Altcoins will touch ATH once again when btc will be almost stable. Alts are dumping hard due to btc volatility and most of them are on bottom. Whoever have enough fund and could take risk they might grab this chance. But everyone should stay cool whoever bought on high rate like me. We should take it easy because this is normal procedure and nature of crypto-currency. But be careful if you are going to buy now, choose potential coins and don't go nearby of shitcoin.
