Post by: robelneo on July 03, 2019, 11:38:07 PM
The latest news is Binance is now restricting residents of US from trading on their platform and IDEX the popular decentralized exchange is now considering to ask KYC to all of its users, in the light of this people and residents of US should find a better alternative and another good alternative that is truly Decentralized Exchange is SwitchDEX.ag

Good point!

Be careful though

Binance might steal your tech too! What's stopping them from forking your project into BiEthDex.

use SwiftDex for the tokens but when you move up into masternodes or into staking or core wallets with coins (not tokens) you can use Blocknet DX to become your own exchange.

I know about switchdex but it looks like idex and switch dex very similar because both were offering the security token. I thought that they will be doing the same thing as idex in the future. Just curious where is the main point to determine if switchdex is truly decentralized platform?

Very bad news for the residents of the US who are restricted from trading on its platform. I am opposed to such type of restriction based on a country. In another case, requiring KYC information by a crypto exchange from its clients is normal and mandatory in some cases. SwitchDEX.ag is a good exchange from the view of others who have used it.

Indeed, actually there are so many ways for them to trade cryptocurrency and they still have good options like coinbase and other top exchanges. IDEX is a decentralized exchange but the volume of trade there is not that high, so US citizen might still look for the better exchange and for sure some exchanges will take advantage the decision of binance.

Seriously IDEX asks for KYC now? it's already known now that they aren't really a decentralized exchange but semi.

Bad news for now but I think that Binance is coming up with something to solve this problem. They won't let go with one of the biggest market share in the whole world.

I somehow feel betrayed by the Binance. No, I'm not a US citizen and is not banned by binance but they had promised us a dex but failed to deliver it.
Even if they don't control the transactions there, they control who can access the exchange and who not. This is just plain opposite of what dex is.

Really because I found DEX has not given any information that prevents users in the United States from using DEX at all
