Title: [WTB/WTS] ASIC parts Recycling Repair Reuse ♲♻⚒
Post by: WhyFhy on July 04, 2019, 05:47:57 PM
♲♻⚒♻♲⚒♲♻⚒♻♲⚒♲♻⚒♻♲⚒
Looking for your old, unused, broken or otherwise unwanted ASIC or crypto mining related parts.
This includes but not limited too
:

  • ASIC Housings (Cases)
  • Hash boards
  • Connectors
  • Controllers
  • Fans
  • Power-supplies APW/APU Others
  • GPU Mining parts
  • Defunct Miners?

I cant pay a whole lot basically shipping + a few extra dollars depending what you have up for grabs.
The idea is to simply recycle with me and make a few bucks.
But my idea is to eventually get enough parts to do some testing and building without the worry of burning up expensive working stuff.
Mix and match diodes, resistors connectors firmwares ect.
It would be nice to spreadsheet compatibility results.
And if something working or beneficial comes out of it Im happy.

I would like to stay domestic to USA to keep overall cost low. Parts ship to 76710 Texas
but I would entertain things internationally if they are current equipment at a nice discount to compensate shipping cost.
When I recycle unusable electronics stuff Its with a R2 certified entity.
Self-Moderated with occasional edits.
I will allow bartering between users within this topic as this project is hobbiest level for me,
Someone might really need a part you have more so then I would
.

Hey,

If your interested I have a T9+ minus the controller. 2 boards were perfectly fine one board had a lost chain, which looked like maybe a chip had burned out - showed up that way. LEt me know if you'd like those parts it would ship from Canada -  you just have to cover shipping and you could toss in a little extra if you feel like it.  ;)

At a minimum I know you will recycle it properly if it isn't something you need, where as my towns wooden box, I'm not so sure the mice know where to deliver the recyclable components.

yea they would need free electricity - think the 31's pull around 3,000 watts but still 416 of them at around 4.5 th/s each is close to 1.9 ph/s

Oh, I know how hard it is to handle waste disposal. In the fall, I did a major renovation of the kitchen, and, as you already understood, a lot of garbage has accumulated. I installed new kitchen cabinets, so I had to throw out the old ones. You know, I was very perplexed where to throw all the garbage after the repair. Fortunately, bin rental (https://www.186needabin.com) turned out to be a very simple task. I made an order online, and a couple of hours later, a 14-yard dumpster was delivered to me. I easily put all the trash in a container, and the next day the same company took out the trash can with the trash. Renting a trash can is very convenient.
I red tagged it but hey pretty cool bot if I do say so my self
