As, Previously, we saw Elon Musk publicly stated that Dogecoin is one of his favorite cryptocurrencies. Recently, the most popular public figures in the crypto industry, John Mcafee also showed his love for Dogecoin. John believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” and agreed that Dogecoin is gearing up for a big price rally.

At present, Dogecoin has found a new supporter. On July 4th, Co-founder of ethereum,  Vitalik Buterin (https://coinpedia.org/news/i-am-very-pro-dogecoin-says-ethereum-co-founder-vitalik-buterin/) tweeted, “I’m very pro-Dogecoin”.

Dogecoin is getting love from popular faces, What's the reason behind this love and support?

Dogecoin is already loved by the community and these popular faces are giving exposure to it. Maybe they are giving a signal that it's going to be dumped soon, don't be caught always on hype because you should know how the market plays.

Doge has always been loved by everyone even though it was abandoned long ago by the team. I get the information Doge will list on Binance, this will be good news for those who always trust it.

I was surprised today, when I saw the market of almost all the coins decreasing, because we usually call black Friday but not on my favorite coin, the doge coin that starts to rise! I am sure the most important future prospect Dogecoin is one of the largest crypto platforms used for daily transactions. It stands in 3rd place behind BTC and ETH being the most active digital asset on the market.

from the beginning Dogecoin already had many interested people, but only because his purpose for jokes was that many were not too serious to hold on to it. and now many great figures are paying attention to Dogecoin, maybe in the future Dogecoin will be taken more seriously by the crypto community

It turns out that the more great people who support Dogecoin, I also don't really understand what makes cryptocurrency experts like Dogecoin,

The coin works well, safe enough, it can be traded in most altcoin exchanges, all in all it's mature.
It also used to have a great community and if the coin will ever get to have some value, probably a big part of that community will reunite. Part of it is still active on reddit.
So it's a solid project. Useless, but solid.

The infinite supply makes it nearly worthless. The lack of use "help" in that too.
But if somebody could make use of that community the value would rise a lot. Dogecoin is technically pretty similar to Bitcoin and, because of its infinite supply, it's closer to the money/coins as average Joe knows/expects it to be.

Wonder though why suddenly Dogecoin is taking the limelight now, hmm very interesting to see Vitalik shill about it. But i guess the Dogecoin has a big fan based as well. That's why this coin remains relevant and even survived and keeps going at this point.

This is what happen on some coin and yet the price are dumping after the hype from a big crypto personality.
A big reason on this is that, they want to make more money as hyping Dodgecoin will benefit them a lot, I can they succeed on that since 20% increase is not a joke and many people are showing big support. I don't see this last until the end of 2019, be careful on buying dodgecoin make sure to watch the price regularly or be trap on that coin.

Vitalik is a troll himself, he very well knows that dogecoin is not a serious coin and should never be in anyone's portfolio to make any profits, it is definitely used for some other stuff if you want to, there are many places that accepts dogecoin as a payment too but when it comes to buying some for investment purposes and holding it in your portfolio for years will not make that much of a difference and even might hurt your chances. That is why I honestly think that Vitalik is not serious about this at all, he is very pro-dogecoin as much as I am in the sense that it is not a bad coin for usability but it is definitely not a coin I would buy thousands of dollars worth.

If I had to I would divide that money into top 5 cryptos instead of putting any into dogecoin.

I'm not quite sure about this, but in my perspective. Dogecoin's price is only about $0.0036 per coin. Its low price giving possibility to get high benefits from investing on them.
With this low price, dogecoin still able to reach 29th rank of coinmarketcap, it's quite impressive.

Lol Binance was listed DOGE. CZ could do anything in this crypto world. Maybe It'll pump again like its chart in the past.

Famous people very well pumped coins just mentioning them and maybe it's really just PR before a big drain, as stated above, you have to be on the alert, but although Dodge was conceived as a joke project, it became very popular.

I don't know what Doge secret is. After all, this cryptocurrency has no product. I don't think a coin without a product can quickly raise its price and go to the moon. It was probably a paid quote.

Doge coin is a huge community coin with holders spread over cryptocurrency industry. I actually think that if we had a popularity contest in cryptocurrency, doge coin will only come behind bitcoin and Ethereum because of its massive ecosystem

Dogecoin has ever been a good coin although it's a memecoin there's too much love for it. And these big personalities knows how to play the game, I've been one of those people that blindly follows everything they say and has been having FOMO.

But now, I stopped doing that and relying now to myself. I don't think that as well that the hype will take place for a long time so you should be prepared if ever you've been holding a lot of dogecoin.

For Binance to has considered listing Doge coin, he must have considered its huge community including big name fans and holders of doge coin like Elon Musk and Vitalik. Maybe soon or later we will see Electroneum as well if the coin keeps performing and building momentum. Doge coin listing on a Binance is a good sign

Many more influencing people state about their favorites coin to the crypto world. Well, DOgecoin is their choice and it is soaring so easily. Three people who concern with this altcoin really can influence the crypto changes so far. Moreover, Doge is one of the new coins that have good survival, chance and also cycle on the market. Outside from some people like Vitalic and others, I personally like DOge for trading.

Not only those who are very in love with DOGE, but many important people who also love that shibe. I believe the DOGE community is even more than the other ALT communities, but the bite holders are too much so the price will remain below 150-25 sats cause they still hold it strong.

So happy when one of my favorite coins has this kind of statement, moreover from a very well-known person. So far, trading Dogecoin is worthy enough with its high volume in certain exchanges. The very low price of this coin also leads this altcoin to have higher chance to be better for trading

Whatever support that is being offers to Give coin now is meant to make i t more popular and not only that, it has the tendency to pump. This is what we all know and if Vitalik is airing his view about it, which ought to have happened long time ago, I means there is something that will favour him around it.

Dogecoin i think with some support and some development it will really do well, because unlike the other coins this one is really loved by the community due to the origin of it being a meme and when it is mentioned to investos and crypto enthusiastics it brings a smile, but as said if they start pumping it it will go up to the moon.

Doge is real BCV and no Bcash. A fork coin that claimed to be satoshi vision is BCH and that claim has been made when BCV has not yet even created. Real BCV is doge and not BCV that created by faketoshi.

It's true, it's been years since this project launched, and still it's not taken as serious as other cryptocurrencies - for me it's not something bad, but with the interest it gathers around, and with growing popularity, more and more interesting figures are going to pay attention to what happens with our cute doge.

if he really said that, he should integrate dogecoin with ethereum. we need to see more parthnership with dogecoin not just speculations. business thrived when solid start ups and partnership works out.

You have to know the first time degocoin was created for, I believe these guys statement have a purpose that cryptocurrencies is really promising place and help most people who will use it whatever they want without third party. Each people can make an idea and the idea can be worth if most people like the concept. This is what was happened on dogecoin, hopefully there are many people who get inspiration from this case.

Then that is good for dogecoin, it's been here for many years and one of the old coins in the market, now it's also traded in the best exchange in crypto which is Binance and I'm glad to see some positive words from influential people and hopefully it will help for DOGE to grow.

I'm holding some DOGE as it's part of the coins where I diversified my investment but from the moment I bought it, I already believe it has less potential compared to the others that I bought but honestly I'm surprise that it was able to perform a bit this year, but unfortunately I'm long term for this coin so probably it will make me hold more time before I can sell it.

I am surprised that all these prominent celebrities are supporting dogecoin and that too recently every one has voiced their opinion, yes it is a good coin with nominal transaction fees than the rest of the coins and the value is so small that everyone can use that as a beginning platform to get used to the crypto market and it is a pretty decent coin and if not for the amount of coins in circulation i anticipate a huge rally as some of the gambling sites also started accepting dogecoin and there is use case for dogecoin and it is the right moment for any movement in the price.

Doge and Ethereum are two completely different coins, there's no sense in trying to integrate them.

In my opinion, doge is just fine the way it is now, it doesn't need partnerships or whatever.
More than that, once other projects start to influence dogecoin too much, it would completely ruin what it's all about.

I have a very solid understanding now that CZ, Vitalik and Justin Son are close friends and they together pump the market, no matter how much anyone pump or shill,  bitcoin to dogecoin (https://coinswitch.co/coins/bitcoin/bitcoin-to-dogecoin) ratio will be like 1000 : 1, bitcoin is , was and will always remain the king coin.

Dogecoin has a very interesting system, but they have been well unknown for too long and I am glad with the step that the developers has taken, which I am sure they are on the right part to having full blown project now that most of these notable public figures are beginning to support doge and I learn also that it is planning to list on Binance if it has not been listed already.

Doge was one of the coin I use to be very interested in because of the solid concept that they have in their whitepaper, but I have never invested in them because I was not happy with the performance of the team, and I would not want to hold coin that the team members are not active, but now that it seems they are working actively well now, I think it is better I quickly make some investment now, because I because I believe doge will surge very high.

Just because you are in a competitor in another similar product that does not mean that you cannot like the competitors product. The same literally goes in the real world just because you are a part of a certain company lets say Adidas that is not a reason for you to not like product from Nike and vice versa. The same goes to cryptocurrency though what I am curious about the their intent as any news regarding a certain altcoin could potentially affect price.

Dogecoin is now on the Binance which is a great victory of the project I think. By the way, Elon Musk called DOGE his favorite cryptocurrency, which can tell us much. This token has some of the lowest commissions on the crypto market. If we take into account the other great features like anonymity, we can wait for the best future for this small but powerful crypto.

Agree. Vitalik's support of Dogecoin, would greatly benefit the cryptocurrency in many ways. This brings some level of marketing/promotion for Dogecoin, as people who never heard about it will become curious into it because of the positive comments from Ethereum's founder. While it's no secret that Dogecoin is largely abandoned in development, it could rise from the ground up until it becomes an active cryptocurrency for the whole world to use.

Comparing Dogecoin to other cryptocurrencies in existence today, it's one of the most inexpensive ones you can buy right now. Even if it never resurrects in development, it'll be one of the few cryptocurrencies that will survive in the mainstream world for a very long time. If Vitalik is deeply interested into Dogecoin, he could "port" it to the Ethereum blockchain as a sort of upgrade for the cryptocurrency. It could be a new ERC-20 token that could be swappable from the original DOGE, or simply a smart contract which acts as a bridge between the Dogecoin and Ethereum blockchains. The possibilities here are endless.

So if you don't like both, have you ever used doge to transfer your coins from one exchange to another? If not, maybe you are missing something. I have been using doge for so long already. I may not be a long-term holder but I used doge for transfer purposes because it is cheap and most of the exchanges offer doge pair for trading.

Dogecoin could be a good cryptocurrency but there are numerous public figures in the crypto space supporting the coin and this could be nothing but just a hype which anyone would not want to get caught up in. Dogecoin does have great advantages over some other altcoins, but It should not be overpaid for all in the of FOMO.

Same. I've been using Dogecoin for micropayments, as it's cheaper and faster than most popular cryptocurrencies available today. This is impressive, considering that Dogecoin hasn't undergone a series of improvements in order to make the Blockchain more scalable. It can still be used as a currency for daily transactions, but not as a store of value because of its limitless supply.

It's no wonder why Vitalik loves Dogecoin so much, despite being an abandoned cryptocurrency in terms of development and innovation. I'd bet that if there's interest from people within the mainstream world to use Dogecoin more thoroughly, Vitalik would devise an "Ethereum" version of Dogecoin that's superior in every way. It could be either an ERC-20 token within the Ethereum blockchain, or simply a bridge between both the DOGE and ETH blockchains.

Buterin should concentrate on his own coin and not tell his opinion on all others. I am pretty disappointed with Ethereum devs, because their coin is now swimming between 200 and 300 dollars, while BTC has made x4 already.

What happened with this? Vitalik may love doge its fine but that was purely speculation and nothing, he wanted to test how much he has power over crypto community and he just wanted to let everyone know he likes doge and watch doge increase. That way if one day he decides to manipulate like a whale he would buy a certain coin a bit and than say he loves that coin than the coin would go up and he would sell to make a profit. That is exactly what happened here as well, doge went up a bit before he said he likes it and than it went up even more, he probably sold it after it went up to make a profit as well, this was probably just testing phase so he didn't make too much but the next time he says he likes a coin check if there was an excess sudden purchase of it beforehand and you will see it.

I am sure Vitalik would have invested in Dogecoin, which is why he is trying every means to promote it, by using his influence.
It would have been better if he had geared that influence and effort towards making more promotions for ethereum.

Agree. Dogecoin is one of the oldest coins that has stood the test of time. Other altcoins have simply failed, being abandoned by their whole community, as well as, their dev team. While Dogecoin has no active development, it's still admired and widely supported by its followers. The success of Dogecoin has been such, that another alternative emerged with the same purpose of being a meme cryptocurrency. Such alternative is called Garlicoin which had a great boost in mainstream adoption within its early days back in 2017. But now, it seems to be largely abandoned not only by its dev team, but also by its own community making it a useless coin with no purpose at all.

Which is why, I believe that Dogecoin will become the true winner of the meme cryptocurrency space that'll last for many years to come. It's the DOGE community which makes the whole thing interesting to hodlers of the coin. With dirt cheap transaction fees, and blazing fast confirmations times, there isn't a reason why you should avoid this good-old cryptocurrency after all. It's no wonder why Vitalik and other cryptocurrency enthusiasts have shown a level of affection for the cryptocurrency.

Vitalik have to look in to his own coin first before he snifs other coins. Ethereum is sinking day by day and it needs dinner push. He should concentrate on that.

While I agree that Vitalik should concentrate in his own cryptocurrency project, his positive comments towards Dogecoin helps boost the cryptocurrency's credibility and adoption within the mainstream world. It's no secret that DOGE is an extremely versatile cryptocurrency for micropayments, which explains why Ethereum's founder has shown interest into it. What Dogecoin needs is a "resurrection" in terms of development and innovation, in order to reach new heights. Otherwise, it'll remain stagnant across the crypto market for a very long time. Because of DOGE's limitless supply, it's unable to reach higher prices than usual. Which is why, Dogecoin proves to be better as a currency than a store of value.

Despite these facts, it's hoped that someday Dogecoin could rise in mainstream adoption like never before. As soon as people realize its benefits, they'll use the cryptocurrency more thoroughly. In the technical side, we have the 1-minute blocks who is awesome, and the never halving blocks feature is a nice one too.

And the economical side is great because you can get a lot of coins with $1 dollar. So, as i said before, its hard to not love dogecoin.

Profitable to all? and what about those have bought doge above 100 satoshis and then the price was plunged a lot to the 30 satoshi and it's more than 70% lost just in doge coin. This coin is only good for betting purpose only and im not seeing any potential to hodl doge as an investment.

It's no wonder why Vitalik has loved Dogecoin for quite some time, despite being dormant in development and innovation. Maybe Ethereum's founder could help support the DOGE blockchain by implementing an ERC-20 that has a 1:1 ratio towards DOGE or simply creating a bridge between both the ETH and DOGE blockchains. The possibilities with Dogecoin are endless because of its inexpensiveness. People can try/test Dogecoin without spending a fortune on it.

In the end, Dogecoin will remain actively traded on the market for years to come. It's quite impressive to see a cryptocurrency so actively supported by people, without any activity in development so far. With no issues in the scalability or security of the DOGE blockchain, there might be no reason to improve upon it after all. Vitalik's positive comments towards Dogecoin shows us that it's a cryptocurrency that will last a lifetime. Just my opinion :)

What is the reason behind all of these statements?
A coin that was created just for fun. It has similiar features as Litecoin. Faster transactions and cheaper. But, everything is now possible also on Bitcoin, so why we should use copy paste coins instead of real one?

well,as u know, probably yes,at the beginning,they are made only for pleasure,but as time goes , they began to be recognized,so i think nothing wrong with copy paste coins,as long they are acceptable and have a value and also safety.

For me, Dogecoin is like a hidden gem that was still hiding the power to increase. We can see in many exchanges, and Dogecoin has a big order in buying or selling and sometimes we think that it's impossible to see the price can increase in a short time. Well, that is true, but if Dogecoin has a right time to increase, the price will start the rally, and of course, the price in every order buy and sell will filled. We can see this at the last time of Dogecoin to increase, and the price can reach the highest price in a short time. But then the price has to get down and back to the early price.

Vitalik does it and you should not worry about that and with ethereum 2.0 roadmap has already proven the real vision of ethereum and vitalik.
The sinking of ethereum price caused by so many demand are moving towards the ico and ethereum must try to rebuild its strategy to attract those investors again to re-buy ethereum.

Dogecoin is so well known because it is a reward for entertainment games, that is why many people know and love this coin. Because it is available in many entertainment games. What about the coin rise? I am not so sure about that, but for the sake of the investors, I hope that it does rise up in the future.

Vitalik is a smart person and has been fondant of crypto for a very long time. It's no wonder why he loves Dogecoin so much, being one of the first altcoins in existence. Over the years the cryptocurrency has been able to maintain itself in the mainstream world, with a widespread amount of nodes & miners worldwide. It's still an inexpensive cryptocurrency with blazing fast speeds, making it ideal for micropayments. In contrast, Bitcoin and even Ethereum are extremely flooded by transactions which results in higher fees and slow speeds. They may be much more popular than Dogecoin, but they lack the ability to be used as a currency for everyday transactions.

Perhaps, someday Vitalik will take a step forward in making Dogecoin a better cryptocurrency for the world. He needs to focus on Ethereum 2.0 first, before he could move on to other projects. By scaling the Ethereum blockchain, transaction speeds will become faster while fees will decline massively over time. Only then, it'll be possible to integrate both ETH and DOGE blockchains for interoperability. Still though, even if Dogecoin stays as is without any improvements, it'll be loved by many people for years to come.

Nonetheless, if Vitalik continues to talk positively about Dogecoin, more people will become aware of the cryptocurrency resulting in greater demand over time. While prices might not increase that much (as DOGE supply is huge), mainstream adoption will. In the end, it's hoped that Dogecoin will live alongside major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum for a very long time. Just my opinion :)

I am also a dogecoin user but I used it mainly for trading and transfer because of the low transaction fee involved.

Dogecoin is simply an amazing coin that seem not to die despite the many disappointing statistics it has shown over the years. It is no surprising that it is really popular on many exchanges. The supply is also high, it is never too late for anyone to grab some doge and hold for better days.

Actually, i have also thought of the fact that Dogecoin should be given an award. Even tho they haven't achieved that manh y things in crypto but I believe hes a vary good one??

I do not know what many people like this crypto currency , I do not like it at all, since the technology is old , and actually the technology does not have this coin, only if it is considered for speculation.

dogecoin is an old coin that reaches now still exists and survives, we know many new coins appear and try to attract market interest, but many fail, and even though it has attracted market interest it does not last long,
different from dogecoin, until now the market's interest in dogecoin is still high, especially lovers of cryptocurrency gambling, maybe this is one of the main reasons.

Although dogecoin is include of one of the low price, dogecoin has a big fan in the market, and the big order of the buy and sell proves it at many exchanges. Besides that, many gambling websites have used dogecoin as one of the coins to deposit and withdraw, and dogecoin is the popular coins too in gambling games.

With the low fee in the transaction, dogecoin can beat the other low coins price in the gambling games. With the big name of the dogecoin, it will give a big profit to us if the dogecoin price can increase in the future.

I am sure about that because I already have seen that before and once the dogecoin price increases, I am sure that the profit will be bigger. The low price will not stay forever, and it will replace by the high price. And it's no surprise me if the dogecoin is one of the altcoins which has been waited for many traders to increase later.

Vitalik buterin the ethereum Co founder goes down in my mind as one of the smartest person and he doesn't very often endorse project so he giving a green light to dogecoin I would take it seriously

That's certainly true, mate. It's odd to see Vitalik endorsing another cryptocurrency project, since he's already working on a superior crypto named Ethereum. Despite Dogecoin's lack of development and innovation, it's still a strong cryptocurrency with a wealth of supporters around it. Not to mention, Dogecoin is highly useful for micropayments worldwide. I believe that's the reason why Ethereum's founder has shown a love for this old cryptocurrency on the market. His positive comments could be an indication that he's largely interested in maintaining the longevity of the DOGE blockchain.

The wisest thing Vitalik would do, is to either create an ERC-20 version of Dogecoin within the Ethereum blockchain, or create a bridge between both the ETH and DOGE blockchains for interoperability. He could also decide to hire a development team specifically for Dogecoin, in order to keep the Blockchain up-to-date. But even if Dogecoin remains as is, I believe that it'll be here to stay for a very long time.

Nonetheless, Dogecoin may be a hidden gem that's waiting to blossom someday. If you buy and hodl Dogecoin now, who knows if you'd profit in the future? After all, anything could happen in crypto land. Dogecoin could gain the attention of a new development team willing to make it great again by reducing the supply of coins in existence. Once this happens, then DOGE will be able to increase in price like never before making many early adopters wealthy. Or it could remain as is, being only useful as a digital currency than a store of value. Just my thoughts ;D

Its not surprising that DOGE being one of the earliest crypto to emerged has a broad number of supporters including people with influence among the community including Vitalik Buterin! Also, we cannot deny that DOGE did make a significant contribution on cryptocurrency exposure and adoption that is why its so popular up to now!

Dogecoin is the same as another altcoin but that's already an abandoned project because the developer of doge coin has retired to develop doge coin a few years ago.
The only product of doge is its own blockchain.
Doge has no partnership because this is wild crypto with hyperinflation.
It's just a coin and doge has no usefulness. As i said before if that was an abandoned project.

this is very interesting news to be known by Dogecoin lovers ... because all this time dogecoin has a low price because of the large total supply ... but with the support of some of the big names of world figures it will be able to trigger the price of dogecoin ... and this is our hope all who love dogecoin .

If some popular figures from the world endorse dogecoin you will not see a rally in the price, if you want to see the real movement in doge you need to have some huge investment in the market, the only problem i see for doge is that it has a ridiculously large amount of total supply other than that it is fast and have a very low transaction fee and i used to use the coin when ever i gamble.

The enormous amount of Dogecoin supply, is what kills the cryptocurrency in my own opinion. If wasn't for that, I'm sure that Dogecoin would've been worth at least cents by now. But at least, it's a cryptocurrency that's fast and cheap enough for mainstream use. It serves well as both a micropayments and trading tool. You can use Dogecoin for nearly anything you could imagine, thanks to its unparalleled performance. It's a good thing that prominent figures like Vitalik and even John McAfee are talking positively about Dogecoin. It shows us that there's still some interest into the cryptocurrency, despite being abandoned in development and innovation.

Perhaps, someday Vitalik will take the initiative to improve Dogecoin every step of the  way. He could either make both the ETH and DOGE blockchains interoperable, or simply design an ERC-20 token (based on Dogecoin) of his own. Whatever he decides to do, it'll be for the benefit of Dogecoin. Dogecoin has had suprising success because it was easy to transfer large numbers of DOGE when it was still new. That way, people used it for tips, as it's "cooler" to receive a tip of 100000 units than of 0.000001 units.

the memes never dies and this coin is not political or too serious by any means so it give famous people free space to be supportive towards this coin which contribute to the popularity of the coins. it's like everyone is trying to enjoy some jokes but this dogecoin isn't some measly joke but instead a currency that's used by many people in the internet.

Dogecoin was once the favorite of the crowd over the past year, I think that Vitalik just say such things because he is holding some of it, because if not then he will not definitely promote it, for sure he will not care about it, that's crypto life, all wealthy persons will say Bitcoin is the future, because they are holding a large number of it.
