Afternoon all,

I'm currently planning a last man standing bitcoin price predictor competition where players have to guess whether the price of bitcoin will go up/down within the next 24 hours.

Format would include:

- A week long registration period
- Players asked to guess if the price goes up/down at 12:00+1 UTC the next day.
- Entries close at 10:00 UTC+1 each day so people aren't entering at 11:59  ;)
- Daily price snapshot would be taken from Tradingview.com to ensure accuracy.
- Process repeats daily until one person is left, or if still active after 4 weeks, a blockchain raffle between the remaining contestants.
- Bonuses for players reaching milestones, Nano Ledger Blue for the winner.
- Entries via Google Form on Cloudbet blog (Cloudbet account name required for entry)

Would this be something you fine ladies and gents would be interested in joining? Any feedback/changes on the format?

Free entry or a paid game?

Free to enter, all you need is a Cloudbet account (no deposit required - but it would be welcomed of course  ;))

For entries I was either going to go with posting in a standard competition thread, or give google forms a try for a change with a form hosted on the competition blog.

Both options would come with a public spreadsheet of entries for transparency.

I think lots of people would be interested. I couldn’t enter myself as you don’t offer a service to the UK due to red tape etc but lots of people will enter I’m sure :)

I am still considering relaxing the Cloudbet account requirement, but I do have to slide some marketing mechanics into the campaign otherwise I'll never get the budget approved  ;)

would love to participate.

also think better prize(s) would be pure btc or freebets (after all you want people to use cloudbet and not hodl btc  ;) , ledger makes no sense from your point of view )

This means you're best chance of winning is to choose what least players have picked.

Say 5 players say higher, and one says lower. In that case I'd pick "lower" to make my choice 1 out of 2 instead of 1 out of 6.

I like it though, and bearish as I am I'll probably go for higher no matter what :P
