Title: Any help "smurf attack"
Post by: RentGPU on July 05, 2019, 03:34:33 PM
Someone is trying to flood my mining network to a point that everything is gone offline , my 3com router can't even handle this , how can i stop this attacks as i am trying to shutdown every pc he is using to flood the network but he always finds his way back in through another pc , can he do this without a planted malware in my pc
Edit: in the router security log the smurf attack is coming from an internal ip address

You have some malware inside on of your equipment, more than likely. Idk how big your operation is but my best suggestion is change ip and restart with one switch or rig at a time til you can isolate where it is. Once you do, reset everything and to factory or reflash, including the switch/router.
It's time consuming.
