Siacoin is one of the well-known coin but from last couple of years, it continues to fall below. Do you think it has fallen too far below and now its time to bounce back? or there is no future for the coin.

It was one of the coin has much expectation in the year 2018 to oom but the market in 2018 was too bearish so it might affected the sia con as well.I don't think it could be a shit coin like others but once it fell too much the chances of recovery is pretty less.

siacoin is not a shitcoin, why? because this coin still stand at the TOP 100 cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap
and for sure this coin will growing soon my friend

they have a good idea, started to follow them in 2017 but i would not recommend to buy those coin, you will get depressed.  :-X

They just get the fomo by all trader/shilling a years ago, I really remember went some group make a shilling/fomo only for their investment more grown. They buying around 20-40 gwei and make a statement for the pump at Indodax exchange, a lot of people already falling on this. Went we ask at that person/group he already not hold SCC.

Siacoin is a Cloud storage platform that is surely popular back when the cloud is just fresh and popular, And knowing this coin I guess there are a hidden potential for  
These coin but I never encourage anyone that are here to buy this coin, Because it is really a 50/50 chance for you to make a profit with it, but surely make an investment if you truly in it, but a number of Altcoins will sure not progress so just make a portfolio and well it is up to you if you still wants to cotinue with the glass,

I had Siacoin before, I purchased it because of Hype it was on top 100, if I was not mistaken.  It was very famous along with Golem. Then, crypto went South however Siacoin does not die and the team still working hard on it.

hopefully we can see siacoin hit another high price when the altcoin seasons show up

this coin is good, maybe there is a chance for SIA to reach the past high
but if i had enough money, i will not drop all my money in siacoin
for sure i will split my money, and drop it on several altcoin, not only in siacoin, because that is one from many way to reduce the risk of investing in cryptocurrency

I don't find it more potential, during the early days into the market it grew high in very short time span making it one among the altcoin getting more investment. Further along with every altcoin the market started to crash and there isn't any big recovery. Even now it has got good trading volume and listed on the top hundred, but slowly its importance is lost as the dominance level of altcoins keeps falling.

It had good potential back in the day when cloud storage was new idea but these days there are too many of them and cloud storage isn't that big of a deal than it used to be. Chances of high return in your investment is rather low compare to what it was.

Are you joking? can you determine a coin as a shit coin or not based on the rank on coinmarketcap? siacoin has no utility usage. i consider sia as a crap coin because im seeing from the utility usage of the token itself.
big marketcap doesn't mean it has a good utility.

Siacoin is like dead, has not experienced growth for more than a year and continues to fall. even though this has become one of my favorites but now it has become a memory. there needs to be an action from dev to generate siacoin

Siacoin can become a very good investment if you are ready to hold it long, at least a year or two. This is also a good choice for newbies that do not have too much money: this token is very cheap. It seems that SIA is going to climb higher and reach first the 50th place, and in the future, come into the best-rated 20 altcoins with the highest capitalization. Imho

I think it's long dead now. I mean, I haven't heard anything about them booming for years now. Siacoin is good coin tho. But for me, there's no use holding them hoping you could get huge profits from that. 2017 is the best year for Siacoin. May it's time to say See-ya their Devs because they can't do something about it. Not to discourage everyone but it's been sitting there for a long time but nothing really happen. There's so many cryptocurrency being born everyday and it's affecting the whole market.

I wouldn't call it dead, Although I would admit that I was able to ride the waves with this coin years ago and have some good and decent profits.

Perhaps the altcoin market is just saturated and investors are shunning away and just putting their money on bitcoin. That's why those coin that has potential has been totally forgotten like SIA.

Yeah, I really feel bad this coin since 2018 I'd never seen it moves high. Though we can consider those time that the market is still in the bear season but its performance never has a convincing moment to show that it has potential to grow or make it look promising just like it did before.
This coin is predicted to be dead soon and to be one of the shit coins in the market.

I'm surprised that after all of these days Siacoin is still there and is sitting on the rank of 62. I can still remember that this coin was together with its likely brother coin digibyte. Never bought siacoin and dgb but I don't think that there's still people who are supporting and trading it.

There are other coins that has been together during its prime and most of the coins that I've known with it were quite dead. I'm just impressed that this coin still managed to survive after all these years.

You ask a question and you have known the answer from yourself, so what have you decided? Have you sold it? I still believe bitcoin will be the first coin who will give the investor comfortable when they hold and buy it.

As you may know, most the pricr of cryptocurrencies has been declining thus far, even it is a drastically decreasing price. But when I see the price movement of bitcoin when the crash came its price fall a lot but but it is only instantaneous when the price increasing you will have a confident for the price touch the original price again.

So, this is time for you to sell altcoin which you think won't give you profit and buy bitcoin as a first place for you to invest, I think that is a good idea.

and i still hodl few Siacoin in my wallet, because in my opinion sia still have a lot of potential to grow again and break the past ATH my friend

Well, Siacoin is still intact with the industry as they are doing the cloud storage thing
If you look at the marketcap instead of the coin's price

You will realise Siacoin is still at 100M marketcap, which is kinda huge compare to most crypto there
I would say if you believe Sia could be the outstanding one in the Cloud storage industry
Go for It. Else, sell it.

Siacoin is too long sleep and is hard to be epick comeback, just need a good development from the team to buy back

SIA is dead, in my opinion. Although his has a small market cap, but it has already way past it's pump and dump scheme already. I still remember last year when there was a lot of people shilling but seems that the devs are very slow that's why is sleep for a long time. It could go on a comeback but it will take years again.

For me, Siacoin is one of the victims in 2018 which until now is still down to this day Siacoin continues to be below 100 satoshi and at the time of the altcoin session Siacoin must be able to ride following other altcoins

Shitcoin, and all influencer who promote Siacoincash its a fucking ashole. A lot people got a fomo, went they listing on Indodax, i really feels sad see a lot people crying their asset got stuck without buy order on Indodax Exchange.

It had lot of talks in 2017 when the bull run at its peak but later the market went down so obviously the sia coin as well now they didn't got recovered in this bull run so this coin might not survive until the next parabolic path.

We have so many old projects like siacoin in the market that are quite looking redundant, and most of these product are what we hold more in our portfolio, so what can we say than to continue to assist in promoting them, siacoin really has a very wonderful project idea, but I think the team are quite too week to push it like other project, they don't look like much of a fighter to me.

Maybe it is high time that we the holders help them push the project for The world to know how useful their product is before they end up zeroing completely, siacoin is among one of the coins that i would not really want them to give In for some of these new projects that are just there to promise what they do not have to provide and then just collect funds from people to do nothing, these older coins can still take their positions back and be in charge.

Let's just it wasn't able to compete in a market that is getting more competitive.
If I still remember it right, this coin's glory days was when it was heavily traded with poloniex, and that time Binance was not present, but when Binance came in, it made more coins popular and people's attention are slowly focusing on a high potential coin.

There's still a volume for this coin so let's see if it can still recover.

Siacoin is a veteran coin, a project during the time when crypto projects still have an actual product to boast of. Unlike today when the projects are simply shit projects with shit copied products and shitcoins that have no volume, Siacoin (SC) has a product which is actually used, a large group of supporters, and partners and investors behind them all these years. This is one of the altcoins that keep the market trusted. Keep your SC if you have them.

With an increasing need of storage due to 5G, 8K videos coming in, more and more instagram users, and social network videos, HD youtube, porn, 3d...Gaming!  all this will need storage, and it shared storage is a great thing because that will impact less on the environment, less consuption of electricity, it's in My opinion one of the most useful project coming out in the next years

Its also the insurance to acess your informations all the time as all private storage cannot be down at the same  time !

I think Siacoin was a really good concept, the only problem was that it was almost free to mine and when you do that with a coin then you can always expect price to go down. Miners will dump since they only care about BTC and they used SC a lot to try and keep mining operations profitable especially in this down time.

But it's very sad to see indeed, shit projects with nothing are doing better.

Everything is fine for your suggestion, But this thread was not active on past four months so your suggestion and efforts are not useful that person. Siacoin was sleeping continuously so some times we see some pump and dump gradually, But most are not concentrate this coin. I hope once Bitcoin will going to moon automatically others will raise gradually on further years.

Then Binance coin would be totally worthless. It have over 2 billion marketcap. So huge loss for those that own that coin. They will probably rather die then let that happen.

It was one of the most profitable investment cryptocurrency and market for this coin also why being really good last year before but now the market is completely changed and there is no room for Altcoins now.
In mining industry it was playing a great role but now there is no profitable course for mining people.

SIA Coin looks like almost shitcoin at the moment i think. And you guys don’t judge any coin according to coinmarketcap ranking because still few coins are shitty which are top 100 coins i mean top ranking coins aren’t strong liquidity. Sia coin dropped hardly from the last several months you can check historical data. But sia was worth investment in 2017 when it’s was my favorite coin.

Look at the fundamentals of the network and the amount of storage already being used on the decentralised infrastructure. If you are buying Siacoin for a quick pump then you're in the wrong project, this one is a slow burner with slow but very steady progress.

It is already at dip now, but regarding if it still has a future or not, well, that depends on what you believe.
A lot of people already made good profit in this project, especially in the last bull run and the reason why its still here is because its listed in different big exchange which until now has a good volume, so this old project, IMO, it has a future but we should still take the risk for that as we don't know the outcome.

SIA had the fork a long time ago and everything started to go so chaotic.

the price would be very tempting. but I am not currently increasing my very old SIA stock.

well the chart on binance looks bullish
it really looks like its going to breakout upward from this levels at some point
may go down too but it looks like easy double - or triple from here

Last time SIA was sub 20 sats was almost 4 years ago. Price is really good right now. It will be over 100 sats sooner or latter. That is easy x5.

12 days latter and price moved from 17 satoshi to 25 satoshi.   SIA at under 20 sat was a robbery.  It will go to 100 stats for sure.
