Hey Hi,
I am Ahsan and i need your support to invest in bitcoin trading, i already used poloniex, i bought DGB there and after holding so many month i got frustrated and sold all in loss  :'( now i want to restart the things again with around $ 1000. so please suggest.

Main questions.

Are you doing long term trades or short ones?
If you are doing short ones then stick with high volume coins but if you go for long term then just simply stick with BTC.
It might not give you ----X profits or multipliers but at least you can have higher chance of assurance than other shitty coins in the market.

You will only lost when you sold at lower price, why in hurry? If you think you're at loss then just hodl and wait. But if you think some token/alt did have a better performance and want to trade with then you should risk to sell low your current holdings so you can buy the lowest price as possible of another coin to get profit. But selling low will eventually your loss.

OP, buy and HODL Bitcoin, nothing else.

You shouldn't really invest in something that you don't know I only suggest that you should learn first in order to earn.
Know some basic trading and how to trade properly make some trading goal and follow it learn to make some cut loss in order to minimize your lost and don't trade base on others word learn to trade on your own do your own research.

Investing and trading has different approach and principles needed to be followed. First things first, identify which are you; an investor or a trader? By that you can start learning what to do in order to avoid your previous mistake to happend again. Been there in your position and then I realized that I'm a trader so I started studying how different indicators, chart, patterns in trading work and etc.

Holding one coin like DGB or any single coin will give you greater loss. If you are a holder or a trader it is good to have a portfolio instead of investing in a single coin.

You can buy Bitcoin and hold for a longer span as it is halving of BTC in 2020 there are higher changes of BTC pumping up. You can also buy XRP, LTC, XLM, ADA and few top coins for portfolio. Also, before invest please make sure that you are convinced with the signal you are following. If you have your own strategy then it is very good. Else, you can learn trading on paper trading tools or test net and then go with actual investment.

I think trading and investing is different but have the same purpose. When you choose to trade you have to choose your strategy such as a timefrime, a technique and pay attention when you have to sell and when you have to buy. But when you choose to investing you have to know the potential the coin in the future because an investment required a time to gain profit. In your case, I see you only in hie when decide to buy a coin/ to choose an investment place. You don't know the movement price, the low price and the high price and the time you should hold the coin. 

Do you want to invest long term or just trade? if you choose to invest long term it is better to buy the top 10 coins. Well it will be safer in the value of your investment. But if you want to trade, maybe altcoin is an option, usually I search among the top 100. But I can't give you a recommendation for coins that can be bought now. It's better to learn for yourself, until when you will depend on other people's speculations.


Well it looks like the OP is still a beginner about trading, he buys coins without knowing the basis of trading.

Go with BTC and you cant go wrong with that or stick with top alts but all would be the same where you would still end up on holding for months or even years yet the market is always been unpredictable.No one knows on where it would go on a matter of specific of time.
When you arent sure on trading then you do just simply hold and dont rush up.

If you lost $100, I would highly suggest not investing $1000 until you understand why you lost the money by analyzing the trade(s) that led up to your losses and the actions you took that led to the trade. Putting more money into something you haven't mastered well is just a recipe for disaster, and as for something you could potentially improve on, that's cutting your losses early and letting your winning trades run.

Be careful as trading successfully requires knowledge and practice. The trading market is occupied by very large players who are just waiting for newbies to come in and throw their money away by trading aimlessly.

You can invest in mining but it is only profitable if you invest in large scale at the moment.

Never fall victim of any cloud mining as they are scam all of them.You will only lose money by following this road.

Be careful from the bitcoin double sites or generators,they are here only for a reason, to steal money from people new to bitcoin.

The better alternative is always the one less talked about, buy bitcoin and hold.

The cheaper and most trusted you could get is XRP and ETH. That is if you are really in doubt with bitcoin.
$1k is a lot of money and I do think you can still diversify with that amount.

This is also my only advice for unexperience trader/investor. The OP seems have a limited idea about cryptocurrency, that panic creates so much loss and if you kee buying coins you don’t understand, that $100 will be loss again and you’ll regret that, bitcoin is the safe option for you.

To be honest with you, anyone who was here ore-2018 won't be in a hurry to suggest any type of altcoin to you for investment. Most of them will tell you to invest only in Bitcoin or steer clear of crypto investment because of the frustrating crash the market had last year. Again, I believe it's not a safe idea to ask random strangers for financial advice. I might suggest one to you though with a caveat.

If we are looking into a safe play, then we'll just stop at holding. Trading is quite difficult and of course its risk, but this is also a way and chances to move our investment higher. Though the risk is high, we can make it at low if we never think of it and focus on our trades. And the only way to make our fear never control our minds is to get strong and face the risk.

For the coin that you bought and sold which I am not too familiar with, probably you panic sold and were not patient enough, or you could have bought at the peak rate when the price was already overbought, anyway, sorry about your loss.  Right now, I think the best coin you can still buy and hold at this moment for you to get an assuring profit in future is Bitcoin, at least you should be able to make 3x of that back when bitcoin fully hit the bull lane.

Aside bitcoin, kindly look at projects within the top 50 in the coinmarketcap, those are the projects that you can make your investment in and relax knowing that there is going to be a promising future for your investment because they have working products and will always get people that would invest in them.

This, does someone know of anyone that got rich in any market by listening to the advice of others? Those that are making money by trading an investing have their own strategy and they do not listen to the noise generated by the media or anyone else, so anyone with that kind of thinking is making a huge mistake by making the assumption that someone is going to give to him a few hot tips of coins that are going to skyrocket, so if you want to make money in the markets there is only one way and that is to develop your own strategy.

There are so many things you have to learn in bitcoin trading. Selling it at loss is not the right thing. If you want to make it as profitable trading, learn the basics like technical analysis/indicators, candles, charts. That way, you will have an idea on when to buy or when to enter the unpredictable market. We could only suggest you learn about trading, especially to learn about the analysis of the chart because that is the important thing that you need to have. You can learn by a watch from youtube, read on medium or another website so you can have the lesson to improve your skills. You need to practice trading in the exchange but don't use big money to try. Maybe you need to use small money as start and try to make the profit and then you can add more funds to trade so your profit will bigger.

Hedging is the best way to make money from your investment in crypto currency. We have a lot of opportunities to take advantage from the up and down of the market daily. However, you will needs indept knowledge about the market to be able to make it. Hedging is less risk to buying and holding to me, just that the knowledge needs is very deep.

Seems you have lost your patience and lost your fund as well. Current altcoin markets is on huge dumped, if you bought on high rate then you should wait at least more few days. Due to btc volatility all altcoin has been bleeding hardly, I can't see any other way except hold. However since you want to trade again then you must learn more. You should have a aim and you should make target that are you going to do day trade or middle terms trade. Then you have to choose coins which will give you profit. So its depend on how you are going to trade. There is no any shortcut way to gain on trading, so you need enough patience.

You need to make things prior to your execution. That is a plan using technical analysis. I thing that is the mistake of 30% people that trades. We just looking for a bull season specially when the market goes up. We are after the excitement because if we see that bitcoin goes 13K dollars, we buy due to the FOMO. But we cannot see that it may turn down, so we lose a lot.

I would not even advice anyone to go into trading at this period, especially they should not make the mistake of trading altcoins,  because as you said, the altcoins market is seriously bleeding and most traders are even angry with it, so anyone trading altcoins right now should really not expect anything profitable to come out of it.

If there is any wise investor left, now that most of these coins have bleeded so deep, I think this should be the time that many people should fully go into buying these coins at large now and accumulate as much as they can. The altcoins season is coming and if I was op, I would even buy that digibyte now, because it will definitely moon also during the altcoins season. maybe my suggestion is that you should start to trade in bitcoin and leave the risk of a coin that has the potential to lose. because right now in an unstable market condition if you take a step wrong, only losses are obtained and it's not good

Why don't you try to use other exchange platform just like Kucoin, Binance, Idax, or Okex majority of the coin
listed here are more good and better than DGB, they have a lot pf altcoins in which are having good and great
volume.

When you say bitcoin trading were you referring to trading bitcoin against fait e.g BTC/USDT or bitcoin against altcoin e.g BTC/ETH. If your goal is to increase the number of bitcoin you have by trading it against altcoin then you first have to change your exchange. Poloniex can't offer you better opportunities in doubling your bitcoin by trading altcoins. The exchange is outdated and most new projects don't consider listing their token on the exchange anymore as they don't have the volume/media hype to affect the price of any coin. You need an exchange that's active in listing new tokens/coins and it's left for you to research on which token/coins is worth trading also try trading coins with low supply as I consider coins with huge supplies to be a long term investment projects considering the project is worth investing in.

OP can stick to the most reputable trading platform for now. Since OP is confused on what to do, the best way is to minimize the risks he is dealing with any exchanges so Binance as an example will be a good choice.

And it might difficult if OP will consider trading on low supply coins or low market cap today since he is still on the learning process. I suggest to just stick with Bitcoin or any top currencies for the moment so that while learning other things, he isn't increasing the risks of losing much on other altcoins.

Step by step and hopefully he will learn someday.

I just weird when you said that you need a support to invest in bitcoin but you choose an altcoin to start investing. You have wasted your time to choose an altcoin instead choosing bitcoin as your investment place. Most people in the cryptocurrency has been aware that bitcoin is the promising place to be choose. You only need a patience and set the target profit that you want and let it.

Even, most of cryptocurrencies user has known that bitcoin in 2020 will meet an increasing price drastically. You will know the halving event, because this event is one of the several way that will make bitcoin price up higher. You can store your $1000 into bitcoin and keep it for long term investment. Indeed, choosing investment in cryptocurrencies will make you get a frustated moreover when you came here just know from somebody else and you never tried to understood it.

I would suggest you to go for investment in Bitcoin but remember Bitcoin is very volatile currency it may give to loss in short term but if you invest the amount for long term, chances of good profit are much brighter. Bitcoin is the hottest cryptocurrency to invest now a days. If you want to invest in altcoins, my first choice and suggestion would be BNB. Binance is the most trusted crypto currency exchange, If you go some moths back BNB was trading at $8-10, current price of BNB is $28. BNB may turn a good investment decision if you are willing to invest in altcoins.

Number of coins in our portfolio doesn't matter ifwe fill all of them with shit coins.

Diversifying all our capital into shitcoins doesn't change the result at all.We need to hold some coins initially which has some stability compared to other cryptos then also invest on some most volatile coins but not completely into shit coins.

Hi ahsan, what kind of trade do you want to begin, scalping, mid trade or long trade? i guest you want to scalp and get income every weeks right? Some point if you want to begin scalp trade in cryptocurrency

1. It wont easy to scalp in altcoin. If i want to do scalp trade, i will start trade with btc-usdt in crypto exchange. In non crypto exchange, i will use forex broker that support btc-usd as their pair. it's more profitable for me.

2. Scalp in altcoin will need extra time and patient, maybe it will need weeks, month, or even yearly. This is not suitable for fast profit, if you want to holding coin so it will be diffrent talk

Diversification of your investments just for the sake of diversification is a bad idea, you need to have a very specific reason for holding a coin and if you do not have it that is an indication that maybe you should sell that coin, also if a trader was unable to deal with the pressure of investing in one coin then it will be impossible for him to deal with ten, anyone that is considering investing should focus only in bitcoin then after some months have passed and they have shown to themselves that they can endure the volatility and the pressures of being a trader then they can try to invest in other coins.

It is better to restart your trading to search for a new opportunity to make a profit in trading.

How about you analyze every coin in poloniex so you can find the right coins to buy. But perhaps, you can take a look at ATOM, LPT, GRIN, NMR, QTUM because I see that coin is new coins that have a big potential to increase high. But for sure, you need to have bitcoin as your main investment because bitcoin will rise higher in the future.

Don't forget to divide your money to buy at least 3 coins to hold for a while, so your chance will have a big opportunity to make a profit.

my advice is you try to use bitcoin as an investment and you try to do long-term hold. because bitcoin can be categorized as the safest coin and will easily experience an increase, so I think now you can try to bitcoin and you try to find profit from bitcoin.

You can make a portfolio with top 5 coins that would be great for holding(Obliviously for longer period). Or if you are interested in trading then you can go for scalping. Scalping in once such thing that I am after past few days.

I didn’t know who got him into cryptocurrency market, the person must have made a huge mistake not to have introduced him to bitcoin because I don’t want to believe that anyone that knows bitcoin will go and invest such huge amount of money on a coin that they are just gambling with. If not even bitcoin, it should have been some off those top altcoins that we have in the market aside ripple.

I guess the investment was made out of this believe that altcoins are capable of making 1000x, and that era is already gone. The highest that we can even see in the next bull run is 10x and that is either bitcoin or those coins that still have very low cap  but very popular and with real use case, and I think that is what op should also be considering now with bitcoin and top altcoins.

my advice to you, don't keep altcoin for too long unless you are sure the price will increase many times over.

When you invest in BTC, try to use Binance as a trading app. Binance has a massive volume because people prefer to use it as it has good features that a beginner will easily understand. As BTC is volatile in the market, it is hard to make profit immediately. In cryptocurrency, you should practice your technical analysis, patience and self-discipline for you to have a much better profit when you trade in a right time. you need to clear the question first if what do you really want . investing or trading  ? because each of them are different   . you cant say you will invest on trading  because once you say invest  ,that already means you are going to invest or not unless you will be doing both investing and trading   .  by the way how much money you started before   ?  small or also equivalent to 1000k usd  , like the ones that you will be using this time .  its only okay if you loose less before because that will only serve as a practice but now that you already know what you lack  ,thats the time to increase and try again .

I would recommend you to use Binance. and invest in these, But wait for a few days until some of them gets dumped, As its alt pumping season.

The fees can also be minimized if we use their "BNB" coin to pay the fees. Also trading BNB can be beneficial for OP. Binance is really a convenient platform which makes trading easier and also features like Margin trading and Futures make binance more popular among traders.

The profits are huge in margin or futures trading considering the risk factor but if by any chance we try to make profits in futures than the initial capital of OP which is $1000 would earn a massive amount and perhaps OP should consider that. Maybe he would initially need a month or more to understand more about futures trading but it would indeed be much useful for him in terms of covering his previous loss and making massive profits in the high volatile markets.

This way you would hardly learn any trading but mostly would lose your capital in such panic sells. You should always remember that in no situation you should think about panic selling. Why would you not hold? Trading does not only mean to buy some coins and leave them for some time to see if they have profits. They are not actually any magic case which would itself grow profits. Trading would never be in your favor, instead you should learn to follow the trend and be in trading's favor. You have to perform some actions along with you hold so that you could earn some amount aside from your capital which you could also use as your risk management.

First of all, I just wondering why you choose DGB whilst your intention is you will buy bitcoin? Have you consider it before?

The one coin that I think I will not have any doubt to recover my money is bitcoin only, the rest such as ethereum or bitcoin cash I really doubt against it.

Look at the movement price of bitcoin recently, how interesting it is? So, when you had bitcoin you just need more patient to wait that my money will be recovered again.

Panic selling can avoid through improving trading psychology and also risk and management skill. Newbies have still lack of experience and that is why they are vulnerable to do panic selling. Their risk management is still poor but over time they can control their emotions where they can avoid panicking. We are once a amateur trader and we should aware on what is the disadvantages of panic selling.

It is difficult to suggest an Exchange, because I do not know very well how your trading style is, if it is long term, short term, in my case I usually do medium and long term trading so that I can react to the time market movements. Remember that it is recommended that you learn to understand the market, some speculators give their advice in books, sometimes the Technical Analysis usually fails and that is what there is more information, that is why if you have knowledge of how the market moves you can have a broader criteria.
