The development of the Mpower Coin (MPO) is an extension of the joint venture launched in collaboration with the SASPRO (South African Solar Project). The initial stages are designed for our local market, but we have also included the future roll-out to suitable countries. Saspro (SASP) is a project aimed at tokenizing the residential and SMME solar electricity sector. A compelling use case for the Mpower Coin exist within the Mpower Coin/Saspro ecosystem in that all SASPRO customers who acquires a solar system for home or business use will be required to pay for the electricity consumed utilizing the Mpower Coin exclusively. With the Master Node locked collateral, a steady release of Mpower Coins will create a greater demand for them and will cause a steady price increase as our customer base grows. This will ensure the Master Node owner will always have willing buyers.  ;D

We are a dynamic and highly motivated team that has been in the crypto industry since 2012. Like most other people, we have started with investments in crypto, albeit in one of the main cryptocurrencies, mining and masternodes. We have been tricked, scammed and many times, just left without any devs in many projects. Very few projects have a real world case for their coins and promises the world. Everything look scammy to everyone. Ether you have a look at both our projects and see what it is about, or draw quick conclusions on previous experiences.  We are not here to judge and please feel free to skip this project if you are not interested, but please don't FUD before even look what we are about.

Unfortunately, there is some costs involved to get this type of project off the ground.  Coin development, marketing, listings etc. This does not come free, and many times, not even cheap. All the funds are in an escrow wallet for anyone to monitor, and these MN's are not for a quick buck.

It's FUD if the purpose is negative, and the context is to lead people into false information. It's an investigation if the purpose is to proof something. And so far, what's asked here are based on your "factual" information, so it's not FUD. Learn the difference.

One of the easiest way to prove yourself to be a legit project is to show us your team, and of course it's one of the information I seek on the first place. I found your details on this subject on your site is conveniently very short, and their link to their social medias are all error, it seems you forgot ti change the link from mobirise web service you use.

it might be wrongly designed , nowadays 20 min really looks ridiculous, but scam is wrong word for this. Everyone decides for themselves , if he is going to participate or no. For ex. I don't like MN coins in general, but some people seeing in MN an opportunity...

Thank you for pointing out the mobirise. Yes, it is the software the developer used to create our Mpower site. The links was not updated, but it has been done. Feel free to take another look at both the projects again. I think you may see that a LOT has gone into the projects. Take some time to read SASPRO and Mpower white papers and then leave your opinion if you think our factual information is insufficient or not anything to consider.

Very true. Been down that road many times. That is the reason why this MN is in partnership with SASPO (www.saspro.org) to offer a payment method for the SASPRO clients. If anybody wants to get a MN for a making a quick buck, it is their prerogative. We are here to stay and see this through. Only time will tell how we perform. We are not in it for the MN's, but the results the payment system of the coins can provide to the SASPRO clients, which in turn provide the basis of running a sustained MN system where the coins will always be in demand.

Just click the "White Paper" tab on landing page at the bottom. I see the IE has issues with the name, and have changed the format. It should be working on both Chrome and IE.

Nope, I still can only see link to their linkedin, which (i repeat) seems very recently made. No other social medias to show they're really existed before this.

And oh, thanks for the direction to your brief of whitepaper. But I really mean to looking for the whitepaper, the full version, not the brief.

No one has dumped and the project is just getting started. Listed on first exchange:

Mpower Coin (MPO) is now listed and trading on CICI Exchange (https://www.cici.exchange/exchange/?market=MPO_USD) with MPO/ BTC, USD, LTC & ETH pairs.

We have been in talks for a few weeks now with an interested company to incorporate Mpower and Saspro into their portfolio. It's going to be real eye opener for many people. We will keep everyone posted as we finalize all that info.

is my wallet not syncing? What to do?

Mpower Wallet Setup Guide (Windows) Trouble shooting
1. Download the Mpower wallet (mpower-qt-windows.zip) from our website https://github.com/MpowerMPO/Releases or https://www.mpower.works
2. Extract the mpower-qt.exe file to any location on your PC or VPS (with a fixed IP address).
3. Run the mpower-qt.exe file and wait for the wallet to sync.
 
4a. It does sometimes happen that the wallet does not want to sync correctly and keeps dropping the connection to the network.  In this case, exit the wallet and open the mpower.conf file (usually located at c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mpower or Click the "Search" icon on the Windows Start screen. Type "%appdata%" and press "Enter." This opens File Explorer and takes you directly to the AppData Roaming subfolder. Now go to the mpower folder.
Add the following lines of code to mpower.conf (using a normal editor like Notepad):
rpcuser=Anything
rpcpassword=Anything
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
server=1
addnode=23.95.221.166
addnode=198.23.209.149
addnode=192.227.227.38
Save and close the file.

4b. Delete EVERYTHING in the c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mpower folder EXCEPT the following 2 files:
wallet.dat (this is your wallet addresses and coins)
mpower.conf (the file you just edited)

5. Run the mpower-qt.exe file again and the wallet should sync correctly this time.
