Title: Losing Coins On The Exchange! This Is My Mistake! Help me
Post by: Clutak on July 08, 2019, 02:43:17 PM
Hello friend ... I just woke up from a long sleep. this is fatal, this is my negligence! I saved thousands of "XBASE" coins on the stock and planned to withdraw coins into my new wallet. I tried to reset my password through Gmail, when I entered I had to enter the code "Gooegle Authenticator", while the "Gooegle Authenticator" application on my cellphone was deleted and I tried to access it through the "Recovery Code" but it was not accessible,

If it's like this, what can I do to get my coins back, please help me  :'(

Try to input the recovery code again but slowly.

In case you made a mistake in writing the code before, you should message the customer support of that exchange and explain to them the situation. You'll have to prove to them that it was really your account. Be ready to provide all the details they might need.

as mentioned by Bittzed you can try to contact the customer service on the exchange in question but usually you will be asked for other evidence (txid, total xbase), and for this case your token can still be saved

If your recovery code is correct, you should be able to recover it.
Better still you can contact the support of the exchange. If you can provide all the information that will be required or requested for, it will make the whole process easier and faster. Which means you might need to prove you are the real owner of the account. With that be rest assured that you will get what you want.

If you use authy I'm sure you will get an aunticator code. most importantly your phone number is active and you remember your authy password.

IN what exchange do you save the Exbase coin?
Have you tried to contact the customer service or support to help you resolve this problem and help you resetting again your password or recovering or deleting your Google Authentification? You may try this, contact the customer support. So sad, but hopefully you can access your account again.

You should have the back up code coming from your google account. Check it maybe this will help you.
Sign in using backup codes (https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1187538?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en)

the only possible thing for you to prove your account to the team and then the team can disable your google authenticator. I was able to do it. what should you do to contact the team directly and try to ask about the possibility to disable your account?

Just as what was previously said in this post, best way would be to contact the exchange. Google authenticator was made to make sure that you're the only one who can access your account. For me it's one of the top ways to secure your logins. Good luck with proving to the exchange that you're the account owner dude. Sometimes it'll take a lot of time before they would even get back to you.

I don’t know the type of wallet that you are using,  if it is an exchange wallet that you are using, I think the best would be for their support system to help you out,  or you could continue to try thee code again, and hopefully you will get one right, but I think you should still be able to have another alternative put in place incase recovery code is not working.

I was once in a similar situation that I could not access my Google authenticator again, but I had an option to boycott the Google authenticator with the third security measurement I had out in place which will enable me to reset my Google authenticator, I was ask some few question that I had used as security which was answered accurately, which gave me the access to reinstall the Google authenticator.
