Title: 0-conf vs Lightning Network
Post by: Abiky on July 16, 2019, 04:46:56 PM
With an ever-increasing development of the Lightning Network, Bitcoin is becoming closer towards achieving mainstream micropayments. On the other hand, Bitcoin Cash is deeply working on achieving 0-conf (Zero Confirmation) transactions that would go through the Blockchain instantly (just like the Lightning Network). Both cryptocurrency's approach towards instant transactions are quite unique. Still, it makes me wonder which is the most secure and reliable method for said purpose?

Do you think 0-conf transactions are better, or will the Lightning Network suffice? Both technologies are quite similar, with some small differences in between. But, it's only a matter of security over user-convenience in order to preserve the longevity of the underlying Blockchain (either BCH or BTC).

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts? ???
