I just read that team around tether made a "mistake" and did generate and burned 5 billion USDT.

I think this made this huge price dump now.

Is there any chance to get rid of this stupid tether connection or the full coin?

people should stay away from any crypto stable coins, and real stable coin work on code and not backed by anything.

It's not nice that Tether's background isn't transparent. But that does not allow us to ignore the truth. Tether is an important factor for this market. We wouldn't be here without it. And let's not forget, that's the first of its kind!

USDt is a joke and it will bring more negativity to crypto industry.

It was a big mistake, but already was fixed, so, not scam at all.

This news is a very big time , the price of bitcoin did not react to this news , and in General I always used the usdt and everything with it was good , I do not think that this coin can happen

I was looking for a reason on why the market is reacting like that today. And this should be one reason for that but it's not the sole of it. As told by seo, it's not a scam because it has been fixed already.

And I'm still surprised that there are still a lot of people that are buying this stable coin. I've never bought tether to save my portfolio to return to its fiat rate but don't forget that it's also the reason why we're able to reach all time high last 2017.

Right from time, the activities of tether in the space has been suspicious. I think there was a time that alarm was raised over it and people were trying to dump it on others. Later on, it picked up and continue to be used.
There are other stable coins in the crypto space that can be used, but we should just limit their usage.

That was a mistake and corrected. I don't think that would have any effect on the price of the coin as it's a stable coin and backed by real USD.
There were worse time than this for Tether bet they came along and so would they this time.

This coin is very bad for investment and trade.  there are many things Tether creates a bullish market or bearish market.  and tether always affects BTC and other altcoins.  September 2017 Tether launched a memorandum at the public accounting office.  and the essence of this memo is to explain that tether is backed by fiat dollar USD.  but Lewis Cohen (lawyer) the memo did not prove that tether was guaranteed backed by US dollars.  tether is a lot of scam.

They have burned all of them and the team takes 50 millions USDT and distribute it to the big market. Tether is a scam coin and the possibility of dev to create billion token has proven if thether is a scam for me.

I am a doctor. There are systems in real wourld to prevent such "mistake". And if they not exits, its not scam but just rediculous.

I'm not sure if Tether is a cheater. even Tether is one of the most expensive altcoins and has a top 10 ranking on the coinmarketcap list. When compared with ETH prices, tether coins are very expensive.

29 July will know what is worth tether. Personally, I predict the problems of this stablecoin and the next market correction.

Are they actually going to present a genuine audit for the first time in history? I'll stick with Circle Coin or TrueUSD.
