What do you guys think? Bitcoin at 9400$ right know

It's hard to give financial advise. All I can say is that think about it, what are your goals? short or mid or long term? Are you willing to take the risk? And you also need to understand that the market is very unpredictable so invest what you can afford to lose.

I want to buy bitcoin for a long term investment and since the movement is unstable condition. One thing is i need to do is monitor this market trend were is the best affordable price i get to buy coin.

When I checked the price of bitcoin now it went down to 9380$ according to coinmarketcap, this maybe a good time for buying it but for some are worried for sure. Well for me, it is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin, while some of the altcoins are increasing its value in the market. But of course still the market is unpredictable.

If you have an intention to buy you can buy it now but you have to leaving a portion of your capital in order to when bitcoin price at the lower price you can buy it again with half the capital that you have shared before.

However, these are my own way. I often to use the strategy when bitcoin price go down drastically such this time. You need to make an analyst with your own strategy so as you will proud with your decision when your analyst was right and you will learn more and make evaluation when your analyst was gone wrong.

So, later you will not ask to someone else before you did something. Just make an analyst and decide with your own strategy, that is the best way IMO.

I think I still have to be patient to buy, because the downward trend is still happening. but if we intend to buy in the near term or medium term, then it's still good to make a profit. but it's better to follow your analysis personally

If you're planning on holding long-term anyway, just buy now. If you think that bitcoin will be very successful, will be globally adopted, and would actually be worth a lot in the future, the few thousand dollar differences wouldn't matter that much. Short term trading though? That's another story.

Long term?? I don't think this is the perfect time to buy because I'm still expecting for Bitcoin to go lower at around 8000-8500 I think before it go up again. It is hard to give advise here because we can't predict the market. It is better if you will do your own analysis.

Just buy a little bit with your money, let say 10-20% for now. If bitcoin price dropped again, buy it again with another 20-30%, if the price going up/reached your goal, congrats.

You can buy bitcoin right now as the price is not too high for now, but it is better if you can buy for a different rate so you can try to place the order buy at any price. If you think $9400 is the lowest price, you can place 1 order buy, and then you can place another order buy at below $9400 so you can get a low price in the next moment. But the price still on the way to increase and now, the price has turned into $9500 in any market.

yes I agree. when in doubt, buying with certain % of available capital is a good option
so you won't miss the opportunity to gain profit when it goes up
or you can still buy more to average down if needed :D

having two or three indicators would be preferable to determine the correct/strong signal

it is $9600 right now and the answer is yes it is the time to buy but what you want to do is that you usually should place multiple orders so that you can spread your orders to try and get the best overall result. and you should combine that with your analysis of the market. for example you come up with a price based on your analysis that is the most possible candidate for the bottom and then you place the bulk of your buy orders at that price and smaller percentages on prices higher and lower than that level. now this strategy may reduce your profitability by a little bit but it decreases the risk you are taking by a lot (if your analysis was good).

I'm currently doing DCA buying in about once a week at these levels while they last, and I plan on buying in a set amount once per week even if the price continues downwards; I might stop if we get a nice green candle upwards from here, but it's really never a bad time for dollar cost averaging, especially during dips like the one we're in right now. If you're planning for long-term holding this is an even better opportunity to buy in a bit and see where things go from here.

Hmm. I hope that you do make the move because it seems that the price have rebounded already. So, did you really buy and heed some of the advises here?

If you did then good for you because the price recovered and on its way to five digits again. But I do hope that when you see the price going downward, need not to panic but just continue to hold and observe the price movement in the next days or so. Goodluck.

If I have still more money to risk, in no doubts I'll buy more Bitcoin. What I exactly to believe with Bitcoin is that it will surely be bouncing back..
But the thing is to difficult when you are thinking bad to the market, it for sure some of us keep waiting until it drops off more and re-invest.

Positively to say that Bitcoin won't reach below $6k again and make this current price a good time to buy in preparation for another possible big jump.

I think if you buy after it is already recovering is already too late. Though if the target sell pont is the ATH, then 10K is still a good price. But for daily traders, then now is the perfect time to buy.

In my opinion no matter how much the price is worth buying but all based on what is the basis of the purchase whether for long-term or short-term investment, if for long-term I suggest it now it's time to buy before 2020 or 2021, the price will rise higher than ATH, if for the short-term buy when the price starts to touch below $ 9000, but always understand the risks that exist when buying it.

Short term, it looks like there could still be another leg up to this bounce. We could retest $10,500 or maybe even higher.

You are the only capable to know if you can take the risks of buying at that price level. HODL purposes, yes that price level can be considered, but for short term or taking advantage of the price swings, you need to perform well to take profits.

Just look at the bright side.

1) The same question is raised during the lowest point of bitcoin price coming from its ATH which is $3,000+. Others still wait for much more dip but it didn't happen. After that, no choice but to take the price at above it.

2) Over a year bearish market is a good period to test how strong bitcoin's foundation is. Just look at what happened after the hard bearish trend, bitcoin is able to recover meaning even during the blood days, some remain positive and their patience now is being paid off.

As of now,  Btc is 100$ down more.
Moreover as BTC Is down, so i can say that it's the right time to buy the coin.
The price will soon again increase and i am sure this time it grow huge.

When you get lower prices, then it's an opportunity to buy more bitcoin. When yesterday bitcoin reached a low price I had some technical analysis that bitcoin would bounce back. But my analysis is not entirely appropriate because it could be, bitcoin will experience a breakout. And that will make things worse than now, so I hope there will be good news that affects bitcoin in the next month.

We've already passed $10,500 and broken the local downtrend from $13,200. If it acts like the bounce earlier this month, it'll give a few shallow pullbacks and keep pushing up for a while before resuming downwards pressure. The 0.5 fib looks possible from here:

Bitcoin has made a highly recover this afternoon and it currently trading around $10,607. I hope you were able to buy then at $9350. I have study this market for long term and when you see people talking about dumping that is when to buy and when you here pumping that is when to sell.

The slight change in the market trend today is somewhat a good sign that we will be moving forward. It is a big struggle for the market before it reaches on the top. What we are aiming for now is to have a few more pumps, I'm not asking for another bull run cause it quite difficult and seeing Bitcoin will jump into (at least) $15k will be considered a big accomplishment with the market this year.

There is no trap if you want to hold it for the long term, even though the price dropped very strongly yesterday but at least that is another opportunity for you to buy when prices are below 10k, because prices will definitely increase because of demand that continues to increase over time.

You have the opportunity showed in front of you do you still need someone to tell you what to do? If i were you, just grab it no matter what's the price as long as you never sell it at a very low price so you will get a good profit at the end. The price had already starts to recover which its 10600 as of this moment where it means if you did risk up to buy out that price then you had already profited on a matter of days time.If you had missed then sorry,mistakes or missing out is common with this market thats why you shouldnt be surprise if in an instant price could rise or fall beyond your expectations.

let's suppose that you had bought, now the price is $10600, you would have a good profit, but what if the price had fallen below $ 9000? you would have losses... but at least you could hold it for 3 years and in the end you would have profits. Yes, don't miss this chance to buy btc and other promising coins including those good tokens that has historical track within year 2017 to 2018. Don't expect on those new tokens showing up they're might be hyping once you bought them, just focus on those having trusted communities. Altcoins now is increasing so grab your selections and do a good choices.

With the market we had today, we can't certainly predicting a perfect time to buy. As the volatility still be playing around, it could really be hard. What we only do is to take advantage in every market drops and hold it for a while as it is possible to show some hype at any time.

I think I don't like to see the dominance of bitcoin to increase more if there isn't enough money entering the market.
The thing is, the total marketcap is still lower compared to the marketcap during 2017, so there is no progress at all, crypto space would be better of altcoins will also perform well and it's understandable that BTC dominance rate is high now since most investors are trusting on bitcoin but this is not the picture of the entire market in the long run.

We're not sure about that last 2 months ago the price of the Bitcoin is below $5000 but now it doubled 2x I didn't say that it would rise or fall again but the only thing is that if the price increase 2x in 2 months there's a chance that it might fall rapidly too in just a week or so.

it is totally your  won decision up down bitcoin price always  no confusion first decision  then buy it profit or loss depend on you trading experience stagy.  

I am not sure whether you used the opportunity to accumulate coins or not. If you went ahead with your plans, then I should say that you will end up in green in the long term. Right now, the exchange rate is hovering between 9.5K and 10.5K. And this might be our last chance to purchase BTC below the 10K level. After the block reward halving, it is going to rise much higher.

I think it is the time of buy .You just look at the btc chart it still has a strong uptrend so i think it still the time of buying and full your wallet with btc .I think the uptrend will continue to the whole year so it's a great chance for all investor to buy at the price of 9000$ to 9500$.

You are right though, I think after this correction, this may be the last time any investor will see the price of bitcoin drop below $10k till further notice, maybe when the bear takes over the market again, after bitcoin sets another new all-time high. If bitcoin can set another all-time high like $30k to $35k, then I think that $10k may even be the lowest bitcoin will ever drop to again for life, maybe that will be the new all-time low.

Yea honestly, buy now. It may not be the lowest price, but Bitcoin has hung around $9k a bunch of times, meaning that you will have plenty of opportunities to profit.

It is still good to buy now, and if you are a bitcoin fanatic surely you will take the chance to buy in accordance to the budget you have in your pocket. It really hard to hard to predict the next possible direction of the bitcoin price and there is no clear signal if the present price will continue to go up after it stayed several days below $10k. Market analysts speculated that bitcoin will go down to as low as $8k before starting to bounce back again next month. Better monitor the price and seek some advice from proffessional traders before buying.

It did rose to 10k by now so if you bought at that time you could have a $600 profit. That is if you bought 1 bitcoin.

I fully believe in Bitcoin, which is one of the coins I analyze and read about it a lot in the past. I don't hesitate to buy more bitcoin at the price below 11k now, I usually DCA to get more Bitcoin.

Well thats a good plan to buy some bitcoin at the price of 9400$ it has a potential to increase and until now the price get pumping and dumping at this moment. In case you can bought to sell it immediately once it pump once again.

Bitcoin at the moment was at low price in my opinion, so if you have money to buy take chance for it then hold.
But if you're not a bitcoin fanatic you can choose some of the altcoins that are potentials who got dumped their price

I hope bitcoin price doesn't have to wait for a longer to increase higher and will increase more than $15k this year. I believe in bitcoin too, and I always buy some bitcoin although I know that I don't have huge money to buy a lot of bitcoin, at least, I can get the profit if the price can increase more than $300. In what framework do you hope to increase the price of Bitcoin?  It seems to me that until the end of this year we will not even see a doubling.  Based on this, it may be necessary to consider other coins as investments in order to have good short-term prospects.

Buying now I'm not sure because the bearish trend is very strong and it looks like prices will continue to decline, but if you have a strong reason to buy to be hold for the long term, then it doesn't matter. buy can be the best thing, do it now when bitcoin positions are good. because right now bitcoin will still have good potential and will be in the best position, so I think it's the best thing to choose bitcoin before the price returns to the highest position.

Buy bitcoins no matter of what the price if you are going to hold it for long term.

Hope you were able to buy then?  I bought at $9,111 on July 27 and I am still holding. I believe this time bitcoin will cross $15_000 before we can get a retest of $13880 again. The only little fear I am finding currently is about the volume as it is not merging with the price. The current mover are basically traders and not holders and I don't think the whales are currently manipulating price as well the resistance level is well respected. It is a steady up but we still need holders and those that will not be dumping and pumping. Congrats to those that buy when others were afraid.

You correctly noticed a good moment to buy Bitcoin. Apparently, the news about testing of futures from Bakkt still bore fruit, albeit not immediately. In any case, those who decided to buy Bitcoin at the price you specified were able to make a good profit.

The price moves high at its gonna be a risk to put in but somehow it is not too late to do it rather than to have regrets.
I'll never hesitate to take these chances cause it feels that the market will continue to move as we nearly touching the 4th quarter this year.

I think we have so many opportunities to buy bitcoin, especially in the last week because right now, we see bitcoin price has increase higher, and it still increase more. But I am sure after we reach some point of price, the price will be down for a moment before it is back to increase and break another higher price. So you will have another chance to buy bitcoin although the price is not too low as before you can buy at any price you want.

Now its over 10k, and there were moments when bitcoin was over 11k in past months. While someone is getting ready to buy, bitcoin raised a lot, dropped and raised again. It`s good thing for all of you who are getting ready to buy that bull run still didn`t happen, if you don`t made your mind for buying maybe you will miss it.

That`s why a buyer needs to have a plan, will he trade with bitcoins or just holdem. If you are buyer and you plan to hold it doesn`t matter when you are buying.

9000 area hasnt been a bad place to buy multiple times over, it just needed to be sold after like 10% gain or so and repeated.   Its been in a cycle there for a while now.

   I think its doing a reasonable buy right now, I think they'd label this action as constructive as we pass several measures of positive momentum.

1hr bars, decent volume on the reaction to old trend and rise from there.    Passing 2 day average then 8 day has price in a positive phase for short term.   Longer term we look at daily bars I guess and can be a different picture though we have failed to move lower many times now.
