What captcha link? You mean the captcha bypass, this one here https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php ? You can reset it anytime you want.

yep God blesses you, thank you very much... where did you find the link on the forum?

Even more shame, I should have searched on decentralized webcrawler...

Just search in the search enginge (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search2;params=YWR2YW5jZWR8J3wxfCJ8dXNlcnNwZWN8J3x0aGV5bW9zfCJ8YnJkfCd8MjR8InxzaG93X2NvbXBsZXRlfCd8MXwifHN1YmplY3Rfb25seXwnfHwifHNvcnR8J3xyZWxldmFuY2V8Inxzb3J0X2RpcnwnfGRlc2N8InxzZWFyY2h8J3xjYXB0Y2hh). You choose section > Meta, autor > Theymos, keyword > Captcha, mark Search in topic subjects only and voala > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5042674.0

BTW i think the captcha thead should be pinned.

Users can also found it on the Login page if they weren't able to save the URL. The notice below the "Forgot Password" which will open up another window. After logging in to the first window, just go back and refresh the new window and that's it.

You have lots of options now how to find that link. You may now consider locking this thread.

BTW i think the captcha thead should be pinned.

Agree. But honestly, not necessary, since as I mentioned, it's on the Login Page just like the usual pinned post.

better to use the forum search function, as some times fake/clone of the forum pops up as the first result, and if the user isn't careful may enter his login details in a phishing site.

Lots of important updates are unpinned.

You have, for example, the 2-week email security update... cryptios account recovery... merit... etc.

If anything, the Stake Your Address thread should be stickied. That needs to be at an easy-to-find place and needs to be accessible to new users; we should be encouraging address staking.

We have a menu 'more', this can be a good place for important threads and forum announcements. We can use also the news feed, which is quite powerful informative tool.

@B1t i know, the search engines sucks but just imagine how huge the forum is.

Honestly, it's so "out of the way" and unnoticeable that I have only clicked on it a handful of times. I've probably gotten scammed more times than I've used it.

This should be restricted to what it's currently used for. Important Bitcoin or wallet-centric updates.
