Just some advice, the idea is good but you will need to invest more into your site first. There are many competitors for local trading of crypto, for example localmonero.co, local bitcoins and so on. No point advertising your site if users will not be interested. You need to have a USP that sets you apart from your competitors, as well as a more attractive web design. You can market now, but I feel it will not be a good use of resources; instead spend on employing developers to improve your project.

He is not looking for this types of promotion. I have had talked with him. He is looking for direct promotion over other forums, reddits and social media. I have offered him signature promotion as well. He was not interested on this.

Promotion won't help until & unless you have a proper quality content or UI that is appreciable . You have listed only one country & it is Germany . This will go peer to peer & that too a face-2-face transaction . People will not like to travel quite often . You have to work on design before you promote .

You can create ads for every country, the filter shows only the countries which have ads (and that was just one)

Hey, just wanted to add some advice for your website, the first thing I noticed is that there is no SSL certificate. It's not REQUIRED but would definitely help add to the professionalism of your site they're easily available and free at https://letsencrypt.org/ or https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/. Secondly, there is missing capitalization on most, if not every word on the site. Lastly, maybe add a little paragraph on your site to help new users who land on your page understand what the process would be in trading crypto on your platform, whether it be a buyer or seller.

I would definitely invest the time to fix these things before promoting your website as the mistakes could scare away potential users/customers of your platform.

I installed an automatic forward from port 80 to 443. Now ssl is forced even though it is just a scam. People like rituals. I think it's like in the movies where it is assumed that radioactive means green and glowing in the dark. If it's not green then it's not radioactive.

I'm adding capital letters now. I guess people have come to expect capital letters even if the words are english words and not part of sentences.

I agree with some of the previous advice. You need to improve your webpage design and add more content. You will just waste your money if you advertise an incomplete website.

You should try to run a promotional Newsletter campaign, perhaps through Zoho, Gmass, Pepipost, or SendPulse. But you would need some person with a large mailing list that is not purchased or bought. You can't build that overnight. Contact me if you think this is what you need. I can help you in other ways too.

The moment he'd try that, his campaign would be flagged. At least Sendpulse will do so I tried it in the past. Not sure about others. Alo with Pepipost you'd need your own domain and would need to authorize your email sender from your domain's DNS.

I doubt OP has knowledge of email whitelisting and how to run a campaign by themselves. They'd just end up in the spam box at best. Or have their email blocked outright.

Thanks guys but this is just a pet project and since it won't make any money, i'm not ready to spend 4digit sums on advertising it.

I guess i have to keep trading on worse sites which have at least some users instead of using my great site which has all the features cash traders need except the user base.

Email marketing doesn't cost 4 digits. With some legit platforms you can get going for as low as 10$ a month. You just need to have a qualifying list of subscribers and building that is the hard part.

I think unless you already have a userbase you can push users to your new site you will basically have to pay/get help to advertise your website. That's just business, although it wouldn't have to cost you that much. You can start off small, although I'm not sure if the price per user you have in mind is realistic. You would definitely need a large userbase to get this kind of site going though.
