I am looking for advice. Which coin is the most profitable in 2019

Here we go again. Here's my answer to a recent topic on the Trading section:

Given the profitability lifetime of several altcoins, which could be measured in seconds sometimes, your question is rather pointless. Other coins might be less "profitable", but can hold their value longer. And very few can actually keep increasing their value, if slower every year, 10 or so.

2019 is simply too long a lifespan to give you an answer. Its like asking whats the best smartphone in 2019, when a few months can make a difference. Now imagine it when a few seconds can make a difference...

Sure, once its over you could come and say: coin xyz was the most profitable in 2019, all the 3 seconds its pump lasted before getting dumped into oblivion...

Can you dare ask the same about the past decade? The answer is obvious: Bitcoin.

There is not any answer to that, because you don't provide some information.
Most of the coins in the market are profitable... Some of them are profitable in long term, some others in short term... You just have to specify your trading strategy if you want any answer to that.

I do not know how new you are in the cryptocurrency front, but I will advise that whatever suggestion you see here or anywhere, you should do your own due diligence. Profitability of any coin all depends on how you play your cards well. Do you want to be doing trading? Do you want buy low and sell high?  HOdl?
That being said, Bitcoin remains the boss of all the cryptocurrencies. Do more research.

We at least should know do you mean long term or short term? Anyways, we can't guarantee you for sure which coin will bring you more profit. This markt is too volatile.

if you are diligent in reading and interacting in this forum, you will get answers to your questions. but before investing, it's a good idea to conduct research and due diligence on the recommendations you get here.

For us to measure the performance of altcoins for this year we have to wait till December before been able to analyze there performance for the year. However, for now among my portfolio, bnb has outperformed them and I will said bnb is one of the best performed coins this year. The number two is litecoin, for those that were able to buy litecoin in January when it was around $32 and hold till this month when it went to $146, they must have made good profits especially when big capital was put in. I only invest in good and old coins, therefore, I don't know new and shitcoin that has performed well this year.

If a coin has already been profitable, it also means that it is too late to invest into it. But i don't know which coin is currently the most profitable. Litecoin and BNB were maybe the most profitable?
Or maybe one of thoses new IEO?

You have to follow the hype which coin is going to be ranked in top 100. For example coins like Egretia, become top 100 in few days and that means quick profit in few days.

I think there are a lot of altcoins that can provide benefits but I don't dare to give recommendations to you because I myself am often wrong in making predictions, it's just that I don't despair because what I predict is self-analysis not 100% of other people's opinions but occasionally what I predict is true it can be a satisfaction and pride. then move without having to follow the opinions of others I think it's more honorable. 8)

for this year it will be mine BNB, which has very high growth. I don't think that if the update from the binance IEO  makes the BNB price to be very high. as well as the next update with their blockchain which is now becoming increasingly popular with new projects.

None other than bitcoin. Why you keep on asking what's going to be the most profitable coin for each year if we know that it's always as bitcoin. Yes, the percentage varies from any other coins but bitcoin will remain as bitcoin and for me it's the most profitable coin base on my portfolio.

I like few altcoins but for me, it's still bitcoin so regardless of how much they will increase as long as I have more portion of bitcoin on my portfolio. Then, I wouldn't feel that much increase for those coins.

Why you must be confused, bitcoin is a coin that can produce many benefits. So prepare a big bag to buy bitcoin.

Egretia has been pumped by some group of moneymakers (probably by own developers). But it was trading almost one year much more below ICO price. You will never can predict such coin, as from 2000+ alts just one coin were pumped so much in this year.

Truly said bitcoin is the most reliable coin that can give you bigger earnings. All you have to do is to ensure that you buy bitcoin when its price is low and sell it when the price goes up.

how should you answer your question which coins are good for investment,I think there are lots of good coins on the market, but the problem is when is the right time to invest and make a profit,if you ask for advice then I suggest buying bitcoin or ethereum so you don't need to be confused.

I will say Bitcoin is the most profitable cryptocurrency I have ever seen especially the people were invested in the previous year will be more profitable under right now their investment will be double its value so that it is the best investment right now for me.

Investing in coin/token base on there rank on the capital market doesn't seems right because most of the new project have high volume than the previous project but the utilize, concept and the support level are what should be the main reason of investing into new project.
  With that been said, I guess you don't know the actual ICO price ($0.00858) of the token in the subject and the token even gained 2.04% surge in price in 24hours but I'm not much interested in the project concept.

if your looking for a good investment try to make a technical analysis on the coinmarket and check the top listed coins.  Don't rely on other opinions because mostly nowadays promoting their project and just saying positive comments but the truth it's the same with other project which only a play money and useless.  .so must make a research and seek some sort of finished projects if your looking for most profitable.

you're right, this year the growth of BNB is indeed very good, and now the price has begun to stabilize again after yesterday's market decline. it might even grow again, because more and more use of the BEP blockchain is done by an old project that used to be ERC.

i think profitable coins will still be bitcoin but if you choose altcoin then it will be at high risk, you better still have as much bitcoin as you can, take advantage of the increasing influence of demand but the total supply is increasingly limited and it is increasingly difficult to get bitcoin.

with capital that is not large, having bitcoin is not very good, because the profits obtained will also be small.

That's only a speculation and we can remember what have been said by roger ver if the BCH will replace bitcoin in coming years but that's totally failed. He believe if that will take the XRP place but for me both craps should not on the top CMC coin. ADA and EOS are craps too, didn't you know the worst DPOS platform? that's EOS.

You mean bnb is increasingly favorable compared with ethereum? I don't think bnb can be related with bitcoin to be generally beneficial. Likely it's promising a result of its steady development, however I do lean toward eth and bitcoin as most sought after coins of the whole crypto showcase due in view of solid market capacity.

It can be understood that ETH will rank number 1 in the altcoin market because it's older than BNB, however, if you look at what BNB has achieved this year so far, you'll see how it has outperformed all the major altcoins in the market, therefore, it's not far it could replace ETH in the current position in time.

Bitcoin is actually still the best investment you can have, and you don’t have to buy a bag full of bitcoin to invest in it, one can still invest based on capacity, and whatever such amount is, at least it do 2x in the next bull run of bitcoin. There are also some altcoins that is very necessary to have for this 2019, we have tron, tron management is working so hard and this coin will pump this year, and others are xlm, bnb, ada and many more.

It seems to me that first of all we should be determined by how long we plan to invest our funds.  If you invest in Bitcoin, then the results, which should exceed $ 20,000, should be expected for quite a long time.  And if you invest in other cryptocurrencies, by the end of this year you can get at least 2 x or 3X.  If you invest in ethereum, it is quite possible to get 6x, given last year's highs of prices.

You can choose the altcoins under the list of the top 300. The options are clear depending on the investment amount but don't fall to the traps as others did in the early stage of investing carrier.  Marketcap matters not price, new traders go for the cheapest altcoins and compare the current market price with the all time high-level prices. After finding the coins which cover your investment portfolio then go for the top cryptocurrencies that have a bright future: ADA, ETH, XLM, BNB.

I would recommend only invest in bitcoin since you are newbie and asking here for suggestion. Investment in bitcoin is more safe than altcoin, less risk and low chance of losing a huge amount as well from current price.

Just curious with altcoin who will give an investor 2x or 3x, what altcoin who will give the profit as you mentioned? Since most altcoin price now only meet a decreasing price although bitcoin price had increasing from $3500 to $135000 but I haven't see yet the price altcoin who has increased like that.

In other hand, we have opposite predictions because in my point of view bitcoin price will be up more than $20.000 at this year and no need a long time to reach that price. For an instance, bitcoin price has increased when libra coin has launched a few months ago and in 2020 libra coin will be used by many people which is mean there is a chance for bitcoin price to increase again at that time.

Bitcoin is the safest investment of all time among the entire cryptocurrencies. To study and find the right coin for investment is really a hard task for a beginner. This can be overcome by making the investment on bitcoin. Though the price seems high, it is an assured profiting investment. Apart from the same it is always good to invest on the top list of altcoins. If it is an investment for the week then Litecoin seems to be the right pick as the Litecoin halving is scheduled for the starting of the falling month.

in 2019 I recommend investing in, ethereum, ripples neo, nem, wtc, ADA, TEN and Eos. for me now is also a good time to hold it for a long time. because now the price of bitcoin is also experiencing good development, so I also believe holding lots of altcoins will also produce good profits.

Not only 2019, these coins has always been the best coin always, and I think they will remain forever the best, being that they both started this crypto race first in their own space, and they have been quite reliable, but I think that we still have some coins that I can still speak very good well of.

If you look at coins like BNB, LITECOIN, EOS, AND TRON, they have really proven themselves to be very strong. I give it more to Binance and TRON, the way their team has been very active and making their project work and known to the world out their makes them really deserve an award, most especially their team leader which I will say is their CEO, they have worked so well for this year and I believe that the coin will continue to grow beyond this present moment.

for beginners don't invest long term. choose the right asset and sell it when the price is profitable. that's all, it's not necessary in the long run because in the future market conditions we never know. buy any assets that you believe will bring profits quickly.

I suppose BNB would be one of the best performers for 2019, if you look at that period in isolation. The coin however should not have much value outside the Binance ecosystem, so I fail to see why it is reaching such high prices...

All of coins were already listed can't be considered as the best performer and we have got the best performer for this year and qdao should be the correct answer for that and it has gone from less than half of dollars to the more than $40 in less than three months and that looks so impressive and it can compete with the majority of major coins were already raised a lot of return. Sero looks impressive too after qdao.

I do agree with what you have said and BNB is going to the moon maybe $100 before end of the year. We have also have coins like litecoins and eos performing very well this year than money other coins. Bitcoin has also performed very well this year but it might not give good return like other coins.

Well, it could not but to be safe, I'd choose BTC over other altcoins as I know they can dumped hard in hard times but BTC will be able to hold firm.
Bitcoin may not be the best performer this year so far in terms of profitability but it has increase its dominant rate which is pretty negative for the altcoins market.

You need to know the fact that every single coin/token are profitable because all of them have their own chance, chance to be more higher about it's price. If i can suggest you, don't do a long-term trading, just do it on daily basis, sell your assets when you feel the  profits are good enough for you.

Chances are increasing due to the fact that most of them are following the trend of Bitcoin. During on a $12k rally of Bitcoin, most altcoins are growing rapidly as Bitcoin grows rapidly too. And since Bitcoin is in a dip this past few weeks most altcoins are dropping in prices especially the BNB coins.
Doing daily trades is not that easy if you look at the trend carefully it's not a good sign to do daily trades at the moment.

I trade in Latoken some coins provide daily benefits there. Even though it's not a popular coin for me, the most important thing is to give a big advantage.
Vet and NPXS are suitable for daily trading.

SERO is the best performer in this year even the bearish market is coming but it can still not get any dump from the investors and it looks like that will be a suitable crypto to trade. major coins were facing a lot of loss.

Simply don't choose the obvious pump and dump tokens. Many have been rekt with that kind of strategy and don't just go with the flocks if there are people who have been shouting that the tokens they've found out seems to be profitable. Don't have that kind of attitude, we are aware of those coins that are profitable for this year and will be for the next few years. But before choosing, take time to know and as much as possible research will be your best buddy.

Hard to tell a specific coin but I'll dare to bet that it's one with a very low cap, like sub $3mill.

That could turn into $100 million marketcap if the project has potential, successful coin in the market now all started with a low marketcap, they develop the project, investors sees it, so they got investors.

For example BNB, based on the chart (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/binance-coin/), it has 10 million marketcap at the time it was listed but now it's already having $4 billion marketcap, if you can spot a coin like this, that would be your lucky day in crypto.

I hate to answer this kind of common threads but I will just answer it :D. ALL HAIL BITCOIN!!!!!. It is the most profitable coin for me for the long run. Not altcoins. To be honest, nobody knows which coin will be the most profitable for this year. We can't predict the future so we can't answer it directly.

I think he wants to know what coin could be profitable for trading because there are so many altcoins he can buy and many coins can be one of the profitable coins. I agree that staking for one or more coins can be profitable too but not all staking coins can give him profit in one year and he needs to search the right coins. Staking and trading can be a way to make a profit in the cryptocurrency.

The most profitable coin on this year so far is bitcoin and bnb token although there are some coins that brings huge profit to investors but they have already lose value too just like most altcoins on the market presently

I am with bitcoin, lots of coins haven't even got a max supply data reported on the coinmarketcap and people are doing their math with the total supply (which is a whole different thing)

I think it's impossible to predict. new coins are entering the market every day. it's hard to keep track of them and know which will be the best money. the market is developing rapidly and nothing will ever be the same again.

honestly speaking, choosing the safest way is always the best option. Because a trader does not look for a huge profit, but instead he/she looks for a steady profit for every transaction that she/he made.

Binance still takes the lead when it comes to IEO platform and when it comes to quality projects being produced through them, and we have so many people that has been interested in IEO, especially that of Binance IEO, but the challenge that we often encounter is not having the time, or having the chance to get an IEO from Binance.

It seems to be that the announcement they usually make ahead of time, is what is actually making people unable to make investment, because every time they announce of launching an IEO project, thousands of people who are interested keeps the date at hand, and thousands of those people immediately go on the platform on same said date to purchase but only few are able to because of the rush for it and because of the large quantities some whales do buy at once.

Mate, house can go down in value in any moment as well. it all depend where are you bought your house and a lot of other factors. Your house can burn from one sigarette or in region where you live can start revolution and your house will cost almost zero... So its a bad comparison.

I don't think many coins are profitable, on the contrary some coins don't show significant increases. Maybe this year is IEO more interesting.

Most of 95% of altcoin available in this market does not bring any good returns to investors and that makes it difficult for holders to be at this point. It is possible to invest in an IEO as a safer solution but in this market any investment has its own risk if you don't know how to check it carefully. The most profitable coins are coins that have fast price movements, even though they are not very high.  If the coins are busy trading then the ups and downs of the price of these Crypto coins can provide huge profits for traders to buy and sell.  And to find out which coin it is, we cannot determine it because we have to enter the exchange and monitor it directly.

The coins that are existing in the market still I will choose the most profitable is bitcoin. Other than bitcoin is best to search which is profitable these days. Many coins existing but only few are true and could develop their project.

there is an extraordinary development of BNB. I also bought it this year, and started trading with BNB. Moreover, with the BEP-2 update, it will help trade from BNB to increase due to the  binance dex as well.

In my view, Bitcoin and some other altcoins (especially ETH, EOS, NEO) are the most profitable coins right now. The bitcoin's dominance is high actually so I think its price is going to increase highly in the short term, but in long term the bull run is coming to altcoins too.

At the moment I don't have predictions about coins which will give me a lot of benefits. I only hold the coins that I have while waiting,if one day, coin is i  has a reasonable selling price and provides benefits. Any coin that has a higher value right now could be profitable. One day, the prices are so high, one day it all goes down. Buy and sell tactic is not so advisable and the value of the coins could go all time low just by hodling it.

Some people are advising you to do your research and do not ask other investors what coins to invest, this is like inviting people to hype coins where they are bag holders, some of these people will just shill coins that they are holding, when it comes to investing it's not good to look for advice, you can ask for advice on what to look for a coin that you want to invest but not what particular coins to invest.

actually the exact opposite is true.
all the altcoins that have lower prices have always been a lot more profitable than those with higher ones. for example a random shitcoin that is worth 1000 satoshi could get pumped to 50000 (50x rise) easily while a big coin like ethereum will never even see a 0.1x pump.
and it has been proven that you can make the most amount of profit in altcoin market if you buy and sell coins in short term during their pumps instead of bag holding them which always leads to big losses.

ok this is just my advice, is just my reasearch after see the price of the chart, if we look based of last bull run in 2017.
then I suggest buying this XLM because at the beginning of 2017 the price is only 0.002 $ then touching ath at 0.6 $ has gone up more than 100x, I don't know if the next bull run will happen again, will it be higher / lower, or it's just a coincidence that won't happen again.

Your research will really help the coin to reach new heights, but it is not possible in days because the crypto market is completely expanded which will take some time to increase the price. I hope from now onwards we won't see any fast movement in the market.

After recent market events when BTC fell 2k$ and caused the entire altcoin market to turn red. Perhaps now I understand the power of BTC and that is my only investment. I agree with you . The market is highly volatile but Bitcoin is always the most stable coin in this market and has a great influence on all other coins. We may not be able to make a good profit this year, but if you choose to invest now, this will be a very good investment for your long-term profit. In your list, ETH, EOS are 2 very potential coins and have many new updates during the past 4 months.

I think I feel too confused to determine which coin will be the most profitable because all coins have the same possibility.
But yes, ethereum is one of the profitable coins so far, and I don't know with the other coins.
Although EOS and NEO are the other potential coins, we cannot deny that there will be many other good coins that can compete with those two coins.
Maybe yes, those two coins have many new updates during the last 4 months. But the other coins which don't make an update doesn't mean it's not profitable.

I think Bitcoin2. I am a venture capitalist and potential coins often interest me. I bought at the bottom, 0.7 $ and now it's $ 1.64, I've had profit x2 in less than 1 month. and by 2020, it will return to ATH, which is $ 36. believe me, the BTC2 community is getting bigger and they are fomo a lot about it.

Shining star of 2019 is Binance Coin (BNB). It showed very good performance from end of 2018 to July 2019.
Not only price hit to 39 USD during this period but also people made very good profit a Binance Launchpad while joining IEO lottery.

It was very good opportunity for doubling the amount your BNB. And previous month Binance started JEX airdrop program to BNB holders. There will be airdrop monthly.

At the moment BNB trading around 15 USD and it is possible to hit previous All time high 39 USD at the end of 2019.

I think you can't find which coin is profitable. the only way to do the get rich quick is to buy a bunch of different unknown Altcoins and hope that one of them pumps and becomes something. That was fairly plausible in 2017, but sentiment is currently so low that the odds now are tantamount to gambling. A better approach would be to do some research, find a project that you think offers something useful, and hold it for a few years. Best case, you 10x in a few years. Irrational market behavior in the 2017 and 2018 bubble has made people think that huge gains are normal, but the fact is if you can double your money in a couple of years, you're doing very well, and if you can 10x it, you're doing insanely great vs. 99.9% of investments.

It is a very funny question, especially because there is no real answer. There is no way to predict coin prices and market movement in general, so if you are interested in investing, take a look at BTC and major altcoins from top 10.

yes you can . you can find if which coin is profitable and which is not , so why go for different unkown alts if you dont know what can happen to them? would it be better if you can use that money to buy bitcoin , etherium and other well known coins for sureball profits  .

vs 99.9% ? so you mean you only invested on the remaining 0.1%  ? how is that possible  , what coin or what investment rather is 0.1% ?  . doubling money is hard but its possible even these day but getting 10x return ? that seem to be impossible for now   .  the risk is verry huge if you will use the gambling platform to try to times 10 your money

I am assuming that you mean some higher cap coins with enough capital to invest, because with small capital investment it most probably be some random micro cap coin.
Either it will be because of the pump & dump or there will be some huge news for some unknown lucky coin.
But when it comes to bigger investments, that will depend on the bullrun timeline. If that will happen this year, it could be eth,
because people know about it, and when it starts to go up, it will get lots of attention with it.

But then there's an aspect of human stupidity; people tend to get drawn to coins that are under a dollar per "whole" coin, because they will think it's "cheap". Majority of new investors want to invest smart but they won't understand the meaning of the marketcap valuation and they will do some weird choices due their Dunning-Kruger effect.

If there will be no bullrun this year, then i am assuming it could be something new, flying under the radar and waiting for their news.

i think that Bitcoin is the most profitable in 2019..
Zcash and ADA are the coins for 2020 - 2021

I don't know what the most profitable coin is in 2019, because the year isn't over yet, but for me personally it's Bitcoin and the ether.

This year it looks like eth and bnb are still the best alternative coins to invest in, and you can also try invested in ltc because seeing the current price movements are quite active and might be able to provide benefits for those of you who wants to invest in altcoin, but if you want a coin that has a fairly stable price you can invest in usdt.
