Title: Someone hacked my account ages ago (bitcoin forum discussions)
Post by: Egjoshslim on July 24, 2019, 07:37:08 AM
So I came on after years (only signed up looked about them logged out) and I am minus 1 karma (might not be called that here) I changed my password etc but none of my previous posting were me. Am I better off deleting and starting from scratch? New too this format <3 hello all

If someone hacked your account and now you have access to it then there is only one thing you should do .

*They took advantage of you but instead they posted on your behalf thus just nail it*

The current merit system is too difficult for anyone to rank up , if you delete your posts you can accidentally delete your activities and might further cost you days .

Just start from where you are , don't worry about anything.

So, minus karma = negative trust?

What is the name of the account? It should be pretty hard to prove that you weren’t in control of the account while the hacker did his thing, so the negative is probably going to stay. If you didn’t do much in that account, then it will probably be better if you just start over again.
