Title: My BTC and altcoin picks, Let's share Portfolios!
Post by: Flux0z on July 29, 2019, 01:17:41 PM

My reasons:

BTC - The King
ETH - Smart Contracts
XSN - Decentralized dApp Eco-System Powered By Masternodes
LINK - Decentralized Oracles
ARK - Scalable Blockchain Building Platform - Point Click Blockchain.

Been here since early 2016, sadly sold the majority of my ETH too early, and sold off a ton of Ripple late 2016, as it wasn't performing very good against BTC.

Biggest sleeper of all of these is XSN, followed by LINK and ARK.

What do you guys hold?

Did you or trade your btc when it was around 11-12k you must earned a lot if you did that. Well, I am just a small fish in the ocean full of whales wherein I only have few and mostly ICO coins/tokens came from ICO. I am a bounty hunter that is why.
I got INS, XBX and since I am a fan of ETH thats my main crypto.

Most of mine are bitcoin and Ethereum. I've been hearing the news about XSN but still I'm not interested of buying other coins that I haven't fully researched well.

Ark is popular around 2016 up to 2017 but now it had gone through the lower rank although 109 isn't a bad rank.

@OP you've got a nice portfolio and it's highly valued.  8)

If you have that much money, then I would withdraw some as it can make a real difference in your life - unless you already have a lot of money of course :)
Also I would be careful sharing details of how much you have - certainly in a public place.

Nice portfolio though!

To me one need to be careful what one is holding in ones portfolio with the coming of BTC halving which to me is going to tell on most Altcoins.

1. Bitcoin is a must
2. Monero: Still the best privacy coin for me
3. Tezos: waiting to pump and good team behind it,
4. Binance token: As long as the market is bullish, I am bullish on this token
5. Ethereum: The coming 2.0 platform should drive the price up with their coming staking

My own portfolio are mainly Bitcoin with zcash, Monero, Komodo and some token I got from a bounty I participated last year.

OP, does got a nice portfolio with high value but I don't support the part of him screen shot and posting his portfolio cause it can make him a target.

50% of my capital always stay on Bitcoin,
then 20% on Ethereum, 10% on Binance coin, then another 20% i drop it on several alts mate
OP : i think its better if you invest on BNB too, but DYOR first  ;)

Certainly Bitcoin should be a large chunk of any portfolio.

ETH I personally am not a big fan of. Will have a look at XSN, never heard about it before.

Monero is completely irrelevant to me, as I'm holding Stakenet in my portfolio. Monero only offers private transactions, while Stakenet will offer private trading on their lightning DEX, privacy is a big part of it, but it does so much more. Huge fan of Stakenet, and planning to double my current holdings.

I've been following Ark for a long long time, and it's incredibly undervalued right now. My strategy is to invest half in "safe bets" like BTC/ETH, and the remaining part in undervalued assets with great communities, tech, and a great roadmap.

Do some research on XSN, it's an incredible project!

wew, just heard a guy who didn't like ethereum,,
i think you should learn more about eth buddy, and XSN is a kind of masternode coin with a lot of features inside,,
anyway don't forget about BNB too  ;)
Why always ETH?

Come on, we have some better platform smartcontract than ETH. Example like EOS/Binance Chain, dont always like eth just because you can get a token.

I don't want to boast my portfolio as well but he already did it. Next time, he shouldn't be this aggressive because I'm also concern about him. He can learn from others suggestion and might extract and apply it in the future.

I'm amazed to see on how big his portfolio.

I don't have XSN too but it's becoming noisier these days because of their staking. And every investors are looking to that kind of source of income and you will have to need at least 15k XSN to run a masternode.

Your portfolio looks yummy yummy and attractive and it is really enticing, I wish you can just will the portfolio to me lol. Sorry I cannot share my portfolio with you because I am afraid that hackers will be after my account and I think you should be careful also. Anyway, I have majority of the coins that you have also and almost all the coins in the top 50 in the coinmarketcap.

I have more of BTC which is really the one that makes up very high percentage of my coin because I was opportune to buy a lot when the price was around $4000 and I am still going to continue to hold till the price of bitcoin reaches $30k because that is where I believe the next bull run will head to. I am still considering holding more coins though but still investigating in which will be best.

I doubt about the real use case of XSN and the only master node coin that worth to buy is dash only. I doubt XNS will give you the best performance compared with another coin with a real use case.
i was holding ark in the past but i have sold it because the idea to create a cross-blockchain platform is not yet even coming to the real implementation after a few years of development progress.
but im not feeling doubt about the rest of your portfolios.
I choose altcoins based on its real use-case. I bought qdao when it was 0.5$ and this time it's worth $40 and CRPT at 0.08 and this time it's also worth 0.3$

That's a good portfolio, similar to mine in the top 1 and 2 because like you, I also believe in BTC and ETH as a great investment.
However my total portfolio is down when comparing from the moment I purchase them to now.

Anyway, we are here to hold and we shall continue to hold until a new sunrise will come for us, as long as it's a solid coin which we believe has a huge potential, holding them would not make us panic even with the price volatility that we are witnessing.

Bitcoin of course should not be missing in my list or anyone.
ETH
LTC
XEM
NPXS converted to fX.

I dont know about those 3 altcoins that you listed but I may be looking at it later on.
I am intrigued also with some of the users answering here. Look like they have been making their own good profits with trading their alts too and not just holding them for a long time.

Mainly BTC, ETH and XRP for me. After that I am spread out across probably too many coins, with an emphasis on smart contracts. I think a lesson I need to learn is to reduce the number of different coins I hold and focus more on the ones I think will be important, rather than trying to hedge my bets by buying a bit of everything.

You can not under estimate the value of Ethereum coin this time because they are still profitable in all alts. Being the second coin in the market means a lot of cryptotraders are patronizing.

Nice portfolio, in my case almost everything is invested in BTC and ETH, I have some small holdings of some other altcoins but nothing that could change my life even if the coins multiplied their value many times over, while I have gotten good profits thanks to bitcoin the coin I am watching very closely is ETH, its value in BTC is ridiculous and if you are a long term holder I doubt we are going to see a price cheaper than the current one, so this could be the perfect opportunity to buy a bunch of ETH and then sell it later for big profits.

Ethereum must be presented in a portfolio of each trader. First of all, it is not only the token for trading but for making business operations. It works well in many spheres of our life - like Bitcoin, it is even accepted in casinos, at online stores, even in airports. I have over 60% of BTC (approximately Bitcoin dominance). This year, BNB was added to my wallet.

I have a confusion about the person's portfolio that is really false or real. Because generally, people don't want to share high real portfolio. Anyway, it can be real too. Yes, the portfolio is really good to me. where BTC is about 50% and other Altcoins are about 50%. So its a good idea for making profitable HOldings. Good luck.

For me these are the real sleepers, Ethereum, Tezos, NEO and Decred. All these projects have sound team and backers, they have all pretend this year and I would expect them to pop up into the scene soon, but something is telling me that we are likely going to see BTC dominance reach 80% this year and that would mean end of many ALtcoins

because, crypto is not a game, i think its better for you to change your mindset about cryptocurrency first my friend
OP : your portofolio is good with bitcoin and ethereum as the biggest part on your portofolio,

The portfolio is quite good. Much of the money spent on Bitcoin is the right thing. ETH only holds $20k at the current exchange rate which is appropriate. I doubt about LINK because it has been pushed up a bit compared to the value since ICO. ARK and LSK may be better than ARK only.

I observe a very bad trend from those companies that showed good results during ico companies.  Therefore, the risk in choosing an investment is very complex.  If we compare this situation with the current market situation, I would like to mention a fairly fresh project MenaPay, which currently trades its tokens on the exchanges at the ico price level of the company, which is a good indicator.

I guess you mean you will stop using cryptocurrency, but you have to remember that there is more to cryptocurrency which is not limited to just investment alone. If my coins had increased to such amount too, what I would have just done is to remove like 70% of it, while I leave the 30 percent to continue to yield more profit while I use the other 70 to make investment in other physical assets like real estate, gas station, or other lucrative businesses.

You will always need cryptocurrency, even in your businesses, and there is going to be a time that the government will regulate cryptocurrency and the coin we hold will grow far higher than what it is not and also be very useful for making of payment for goods and services in near future.

That portfolio can be edited so nothing to worry about. Its always good to buy btc and eth, I also have some altcoins like BNB, XRP and UTK. I do believe we must put our money on many good coins, it can be profitable just like the portfolio of the OP if ever its real. I hope to have at least 1BTC someday, the portfolio inspire me honestly.

My portfolio now is stuck in LTC. I was expecting a pump of it after halving, and the price I bought was a little bit of high in btc value. I can't afford to sell it now as I'm loss 50% from the price I bought plus I don't really need money now. I hope at September it will start to pump so I can recover my loss.
Based on my own personal view, I don’t think altcoins will do any great this year, most of them will keep dropping in value as they have been dropping even if bitcoin rises, so whatever value your Litecoin is now will still be there till bitcoin main bull comes, so my personal advise for you is to just change the remaining 50% back to bitcoin because by that September, I am sure that bitcoin will climb by at least extra $2000 which that percentage would have probably help you increase and take back some of your losses in Litecoin.

By that time then, you can consider buying Litecoin again then which I am quite certain that you will even get a far cheaper price than the price you sold it. The decision is left to you though, if you still leave for long, there is still nothing for you to lose. Litecoin is a potential coin.

Most of my coin are dead and struggling to recover . Which seems have no chance on this year to bump the price again because of the current situation of market.  . It's very annoying actually.  And probably i will quit buying such this play money because im always frustrated on it.

They both have great teams and there was no ICO or premine.

Swap uses the cuckaroo29 algorithm, its a privacy coin and hast a great Community.

IOC have one of the hardest working devs I have ever seen and has a awesome tech. Its hard too belive that this coin is flying under the radar since 2014.

If you are not lying, then you have a wonderful portfolio and what is your goal, what do you can not buy with your 380k worth of crypto now?
What are you waiting for, do you want to be a multi millionaire? BTW if you bought so early your token worth was several million USD at the time of ETH hitting ATH, am i right?

Are you kidding me, what are you doing here?  :D
You are not afraid that someone will find out your identity and will threaten you? Just friendly suggestion, but take care, you should more care about the privacy.

to me, i only keep ETH and Link.
ETH is undoubtedly a reliable business for you to invest long term in 2-4 years.
For LINK, this is really a great currency with modern technology and is receiving positive response from blockchain engineers.
Currently the technology businesses are being undervalued, wait until the season of alts, you will see a great growth.

Lol, people are too funny and wonderful, very smart people we have here, I never even thought of it towards that side anyway, but it is possible that he is not lying, first, he might not just be that active, because I have a friend that has been on bitcoin since 2014 and till now, his account is still in junior member with 1 merit, secondly, what if his main account was blocked, I have seen some of my friend too also lose their top account because they did something against the forum rule.

Well, the portfolio is really what matters here, he indeed has a very great portfolio, and if I have such portfolio by now, probably I would have gone to heaven and back by now lol. I think his selection is actually great and they will still make great selection for this time too.

I think you have a good portfolio. My personal choice for altcoins are chainlink, harmony, celer, eth, eos, and bat. of course part of my selection is the fundamentals and project stance. I also have some PundiX but not yet betting on it for the short term its a long trade investment as they have system that likely to be useful in the future.

BTC is always my biggest share of portfolio since its the King if all crypto and Ive betting t will go back to same price during ys period of bull season.

I think that is enough to wait for the next bull run so you can hope to see you will make a big profit from all of your coins. I see that you have a big amount for each coin, but I think you can add more coins in your portfolio and spread your money to another coin, so you have more chance to make more money.

I have my coins too like you, but I don't want to tell all of my coins, but I will tell some of my coins. I have btc, eth, litecoin, xrp, str, neo, eos, and more but the other coin will be secret ;D

Now I am all at INS, I am very confident that this project is currently under value. They have a very active developer and community manager, and the latest news is that they will run mainnet on September 30th and announce a partnership. although the price is currently very cheap at Binance, but I'm sure this project is starting to grow

Bitcoin becomes the long-term investment number 1, Ethereum, BCH and BNB into daily trading. And now I am investing heavily in the new BCNX token from the BCNEX Exchange Project from Vietnam. I think this BCNX has very good potential, because the development of the Crypto project is amazing.
