I am new to crypto world, can someone knowledge me what is IEO?

IEO is same like ICO the only difference being that IEOs are hosted on an exchange but the purpose of both of them remains the same that is the raising of the funds for project development so icos are like open fund raising campaigns while IEOs are hosted on a specific exchange platform where its members and investors can participate hassle free.

IEO is a token sale just like ICO but this time it is being launch on an exchange. Binance have launched several IEO's which were successful thus making this procedure a trend but seem's lately, many small exchanges follow the steps of Binance but failed as it did not reach it's set hardcap.

I think that IEO is another tool for the cryptocurrency sphere. But we should not think that it will certainly bring you profit.

But for your information , ICO is the worst and not worth to try. Except if the project is already well-known even before they run the ICO crowdfunding.

FYI, ICO is the not worst thing at all but there are some kinds of fundraising that are even worst than ico and that's called STO and TGE. you can create a comparison between how much successful ICO compared with successful STO and the answer will be ICO.
ICO is not the worst form of fundraising model because IEO basically made from ICO that was partnered with the exchange site.

I would not say that IEO is safer than ICO. Security IEO is an illusion, because it is safe to invest in IEO only on large exchanges, on small exchanges, you can also be deceived as during the ICO.

The aspect of an exchange verifying a developer and existence of the team is what I really don’t buy when it comes to other exchanges carrying out IEO other than Binance and the other top exchanges. when it comes to verifying of team, the only way to be certain of them is when you know their location, their identity and know how to get to them at any time physically which I think only binance does for now because they have the resources to do so.

I am sure that binance would even have a team that can travel physically to confirm the location of these projects when other smaller exchange does not have the resources, and all they still do is same thing like us, by using their whitepaper to judge them, which is the reason you still see some bad IEO projects.
