many people are still curious about cryptocurrency, especially the value continues to penetrate the upper limit until the end of 2017. Unfortunately, starting from the beginning of 2018 to the present, bitcoin capitalization throughout the world has dropped dramatically. including bitcoin and other digital currencies?
actually the price correction reached more than 50% of its highest value, which is below 130 million from 260 million, in my opinion it could be considered reasonable.

yes, that is natural because the market is not regulated by anyone, and fluctuations in the price of coins depend on demand and supply on the market. so I think Cryptocurrency is looking for "fair value". All products, both property, gold, stocks, bonds, and others always have fair value, and investors have different approaches to determine that point.

Cryptocurrencies natural characteristic is being volatile. This is the reason why many thinks that it doesn't have a fair value but the community determines its fair value through supply and demand.

Very simple, if there's no demand but it has a lot of supply, there's no one that will buy it and it's value will be worthless. As for the market cap, we just did passed the long bear market for the entire year of 2018 and now think of what's next.

One of the most famous features of Bitcoin and for the whole cryptocurrency market for that matter is volatility which can go very extreme sometimes. Traders though love this as they can make more money in this kind of movement -- of course risks are also heightened. One of the most known reason of this volatility is that the market is not yet that huge as compared to forex and gold. So in most probability, when the market will be expanding exponentially there is a chance the volatility can ease.

whenever we have a bubble in bitcoin that is always followed by a bear market that means price coming down a little. that doesn't mean a "dramatic drop". if you look at the price you can see by the beginning of 2017 price was barely $900 and by the end of 2018 (in 2 years) price was $6000 and that is already a huge rise not a drop.

of course that drop after the bubble was intensified because of the enormous altcoin dump that took place in 2018. millions of dollars exited the altcoin market as investors dumped their altcoins and a major part of it exited through bitcoin which means a big part of that drop was because of the altcoin dumps.

Cryptocurrency now has trying to increase to the next higher price, and I think it needs a long time to back to the higher price before. We know that cryptocurrency is at the downtrend since the last year, but gladly, we see that this year, cryptocurrency try to get back to the higher price again. Maybe it is hard because so many people have desperate with the price, but I am sure it will be back soon. The market will be still volatile and make us hard to predict where the price wants to go, but at least, we could try to make a profit.

If we look and compare the humble beginning of the cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) way back 2008-2009 the progress made as it was today is incomparable, meaning it was progressively getting bigger and bigger so for me market sized is not important in terms of the value the supply and demand was also dictating the price other than so called whales, as we all know that cryptocurrency high volatility in prices was due to its nature.

yes the decline in the crypto market is now caused by several reasons including negative news issues and irregular crypto adoption rates ... I mean more offers compared to market demand and maybe that has caused the market to be in a bad situation, but investors have their own ways to invest in this market

Btc market cap will reduce as the years progresses because other coins will grow too and become better while other new innovations will com. Personally, I believe it doesn't necessarily affect the prices of bitcoin.

The specialty dish of the electronic money market is the fluctuation of value, you can go out to have lunch but when you return can ROI -20%, this fluctuation happens so Please accept and get acquainted with it. This fluctuation is probably due in part to negative or good community news.

the cryptoqurrency market is unexpected, sometimes prices can go up and vice versa, so it's not surprising if we see the price of coins always changes every time. but the most important thing for me is patience. if you are not patient and easy to panic that will make you experience losses in this industry.

yes of course the price in the market is always changing every second and also there is no certainty that the price will remain at that price or can even rise high and can fall even more sharply, because fluctuations in the price of coins are caused by users who make transactions on the market.

It's old news talking about the volatility of crypto market. The market emotions grossly affect the price of cryptocurrencies apart from the stable coins.  Presently everyone is optimistic after the long bear market passed, you can see that from the soar in BTC price and also the increase in total market cap. 

In my opinion it is now very interesting to monitor the situation on the market. Since everyone wants the price to grow higher and at a fast pace. And it all depends on how much the price of cryptocurrency can rise. And all users are now waiting for a very profitable purchase of a critical currency. And I think that this is a very profitable investment of capital in the future.

even though the market has not fully improved but all forum users, including me, are always optimistic about the coins invested and also the current market situation, I am still confident that this market condition will soon pass, while the price of bitcoin also increases upwards and this shows that the market is starting to improve.

fair value, yes I agree with you and crypto will continue to fluctuate until fair value is reached. of course this takes time and perhaps mass adoption is one way to realize that fair value.

My opinion on the alt market.

Alt Season WILL come! Not soon though. IMO Altcoins are in a bad place right now since we are in changing times, various alt focused markets decided to charge huge fees, ban some countries or admit KYC. Overall various regulations that end up drifting away a good percent of the alt traders, like myself. This is why i believe Alt season will emerge when exchanges like Switch.ag or their Dex Switchdex.ag gets popular enough, basically exchanges that focus on privacy and alts availability. At least this is my take on this market.

One question that I usually ask most people that do usually ask for regulation is if they are really ready for the regulation right now, because when cryptocurrency is being regulated, there are so many limitations that come with it too, like stability. If you look at the market situation presently, and the way that people are making money through it, you will realize that it is because of its volatility that this becomes possible.

The reason why cryptocurrency Is quite much popular right now is not because of its technology first, but because of the money they make through it, which is why I do ask if people are really ready for the volatility to stop.  Now that the price is below 130 million, this is an opportunity for any investor to make twice of their investment because the market will surely get back to back to that highest cap.

The market correction is rather relative. Now it is influenced by whales and the popularization of cryptocurrency by various products. These are the most important factors.

Many steps has be taken by the whales to manipulate the price of bitcoin to their favour. Much people are in to buy and sell immediately the see little increase of bitcoin and it do make it to fluctuate

I think market situation right is in very good situation. It's started when bitcoin have a huge increase and more investors was said that it is a sudden bullrun and until now we are experiencing a ggod bitcoin price. We can say that crypto price is very unquiet and this is normal. On cryoto's situation right now I think it will continue to grow and before year 2019 end the price will fall like what happened last 2018.

Market is in the development phase and this early investment in the market will help us earn a lot of money in the near future because I'm sure people will tend to invest in this market more. In fact, some big countries are encouraging people to use Bitcoin as a means of payment because it is much safer to pay and each transaction has absolute accuracy.

yes it may be true that the current price of bitcoin is still reasonable, not falling too low and also still stable at that price. if in my opinion this is not an obstacle for users who want to adopt coins in the crypto market, most of us have different views but focus on market conditions and even occasionally add some other altcoin collections. because they are very confident that the price of bitcoin will soon rise even higher, so my advice is that you better take advantage of this market situation to buy some other altcoins and while waiting for the market to stabilize again.

It is trite that when two products of same value are offered for sale the seller with the lower price stands a greater chance of selling his ware. How is many months the near future?
I became an investor in crypto about two years ago. Since then, my investments have not yet returned to their price. The near future is about two years - is not near future.
The development of this industry is permeated by far-fetched projects, fraud, conservative people. So, I believe that the cryptocurrency market is developing, but I do not think it will be as fast as many expect.

Current situation is bad for investors? Are you kidding? We all can buy in a huge sales.
Will you buy iPhone for the full price? Probably not, but in 90% sale? Of course! So buy more, offer is time limited!

The current market situations will not good for a new investor to buy bitcoin as we know that bitcoin increase higher now.
But they can wait for a while to see if the price will be down in the next hours so they can start to buy bitcoin.
But they can buy from now on if they don't want to wait but make sure that they don't buy 1 bitcoin directly because that will be too risky to do.
Besides that, we don't know if, in the next hours, bitcoin price will still increase or not so we can buy for some satoshi first to know what will happen later.
But if in the next hours, bitcoin price still increases, then we can place the order buy to buy more satoshi and hold it until the price can increase higher.

Absolutely right I second demotion to this statement if you feel good at Bitcoin price the buy more and hold for long term because it  surely rise up in the near future blockchain is so popular and now being used by other countries all over the world no doubt the price will pumo up soon. On my observation current market situation is a good timing to buy bitcoin.

That is true, problems will always arise, but the cryptocurrency technology is very strong now withstand such problem and overcome it in due time. Look at bitcoin, bitcoin has experienced so much big FUD this year that I expected to have crashed it further, but rather strengthened it.

The biggest FUD news that I saw recently is that of President Donald trump which came out on tweet to go against bitcoin, and I think that would be the first time he would be saying something negative about bitcoin, I thought that it was going to affect the price of the coin too much, but it had no much effect on it, and after then the value has been growing a little bit as usual. I dint think that there is going to be any challenge right now that bitcoin will not overcome, or the cryptocurrency industry in general.

The investor who got a lot of profit and got a lot of lost when investing on cryptocurrencies is always be there because these things can not be avoided. But I doubt, there is someone who got a lot of lost when they investing on gold or another investment place which is included in the category of a safe haven investment place. Surely, these definition have told us that return of investment is depend on the investment place itself.

bitcoin will never pump because it is not a pump and dump altcoin. the pumping days of bitcoin has been over ever since 2013 when Mt Gox was closed down. so if you are waiting for a bitcoin pump then you are wasting your time and missing out on the opportunities.

If you followed d market you will understand that the drop wasn't instant it kept building up and dropping. Its a market cycle even stock market experience such most of the time.

You didn't notice anything new or unusual OP. Bitcoin is constantly making higher lows and losing 130 million is only possible because it gained 160 first in just a few months.

It really doesn't matter if a correction after a big pump is 50% 60% or 80%. All that matters is that it's not 100% which means that holders gain money and bitcoin is still going up in the long term.

Exactly. I agree with you that you need to observe the market situation and the price of the cryptocurrency is before investing since the market isn't stable else you might end up losing money. For instance, bitcoin is recently down and making low prices now which needs patience until market becomes better.

That's right, correction after a big pump is normal. Traders and investors have their own perspectives. Prices are constantly changing, volatile, depending on market demand and supply as well as rumours and news circulating. Exactly the way you have stated it here is how bitcoin should have been operating right from the onset, it is meant to gradually rise in value as adoption rate increases, which is what I have been seeing from its market movement lately, the value of bitcoin has come to a stage where it is getting more and more difficult to be manipulated after people have learnt how the whales has been manipulated.

I am not sure of MT GOX you made reference to here which was in 2013, but the coin was still pumped by whales in 2017 which was what lead to that major dumping we are all yet to recover from, the only thing I have just learnt from that dumping is that it really built people and made them not to ever fall for fomo again which is why the market has been rising slowly and healthily.

THere are so many new comers at the last month of 2017.
They bought many cryptocurrency due to the high rise market.
And they are not with good knowledge. As the market went down many weak hands sold their tokens which result to more dumping.

You are right and market does always hover around the fair value but for crypto it is a little different because you must have known by now that crypto comes with a limited supply so as the demand increases the price is bound to grow because there is only a limited supply available, this thing alone makes the crypto the best investment among all other sectors and that is the reason why long term holding strategy works the best in crypto market.
