Title: Scam by twitter-account @YobitHelp_ , my history
Post by: farsky on July 30, 2019, 10:34:50 PM
Hello, everybody

I want to share my story of stupidity, maybe it will save someone.

History in pictures, I think everything will be clear.

@YobitHelp_  is scammers, they stole from me 0.04 BTC, here is their address https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/39DemWt4sUYMzGcponbF2e1RXmspVo6Cd7

But I also want to say that 0.04 BTC is a lot of money for me, I am not one of those who earn a lot, all this is very painful.

Why I believed the scammers .. In the first image you can see what the scammers wrote to me, and its name and logos coincide with the account of the Yobit Exchange, I thought that the link was given to me by the real account Yobit.
And also I was tired.
Never work with a crypt if you are tired.

I also wrote to  Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and asked why the scam accounts are not being deleted.
I also sent a complaint to twitter .. but usually they do nothing.

Damn, that's such a brazen scam, what with the pyramid-shaped "verification fee" (0.01 - 0.03 - 0.05). Did they stop responding after receiving 0.03 BTC?

At first they activated all my codes, and after I sent 0.03 .. only after that I wondered what I was doing.
Then I went to see if the real Yobit or someone else answered me. When I carefully looked at what is shown on the first screenshot, I understood everything, but it was too late.

It is not clear why for so many months no one complained about this account (or Twitter deliberately does not block it).

Worst scam ever. Everybody knows Yobit doesn't have an support as good as this one. They don't even answer their tickets, imagine actually talking real-time with someone. :D

sorry, had to do this. On a serious note, report him: https://twitter.com/i/report/user/1072718318442868736 - if we all do that, he can go down pretty quickly.

Guys I think I have warned it several times in the forum that YoBit does not have any customer support that operate in social media like Facebook, twitter or anywhere else. The only option to contact with them is, to go through the support page once you are logged in in your Yobit account.

Once I was very close to this scammers (social media) and then I asked Yobit if they are real. Their response was that there are no such customer support exists except their support page in the account.

Sorry OP that you lost your money. I hope at-least some people see this and learn the truth.

All that Yobit could do is block the fraudster’s account.
That's what they write me
Quote
This code is activated by Mosessilas (2019-07-30 17:34:33).
user blocked

But at least they did it!

Twitter does NOT respond to my reports.
I tried to prevent the scammer from deceiving other people, to every @YobitHelp_ tweet I wrote a tweet to the answer.
"be carefully, @YobitHelp_  is scammers.
proof https://twitter.com/frank_zas/status/1156327526089842688"
And after a while I was blocked by @YobitHelp_.

Thus, it turns out that Twitter protects the scammer.

He has been "working" since December 2018 and has already collected at his address more than 2 bitcoins (and he probably has more than 1 address)

Sorry for your loss, I have lost my patience to read all of your reply. We should know that any exchange will not ask for any fund outside of exchange like Twitter, Telegram. So it was obvious scam attempt, unfortunately a senior member like you fall in their trap. It's not new, there was more scam attempt like free giveaway and so on.

However, thanks for share your story, hope other people's will stay away from this kind of trap.

LOL I agree with you. First when I read his story I thank it was a fake story...
But then I asked to myself why he would make a fake for that?  ???

So farsky I thank you very much for your humbleness. It's very courageous to share that.
But may I ask you if you're a real Hero member? (or if someone gave or sold your account)

I visited the account and that's what I see:

Reports work. :)

Great! Well done TryNinja!
You seem to have a little bit more power than farsky on this social media  LOL  ::)
Well in fact I don't understand why farsky wasn't able to get his ban... maybe because @YobitHelp_ blocked him before?

ok, then let's continue.
Some time after my report (I bored @TwitterSupport a few days by tweets and pm), Twitter sent me a message saying that it suspended the @YobitHelp_ account.

Update on your complaint
Thanks again for the information provided! We have determined that this account violates Twitter Rules.
I was lazy to write here about it.
On the question of who has more power, I do not know, probably this is a rhetorical question.
Maybe it should be some time before support processes my report, and I was very impatient.

Also support Yobit answered me

English is not my native language, which is probably why it’s hard for me to understand why you call fake my history.

The second question is also difficult for me)) yes, this is my original account, and I will never sell it, and never bought it)).
ok ok I understand now)) you think as an experienced person with registration 2016 could fall into such a simple trap.
The described story happened to me solely because of my stupidity and (most importantly) by inattention.
Never engage in crypto if you want to sleep.

No I didn't call your story a fake, I just said I thought it was a fake story when I started to read it... because as you said it's a little bit surprising to see an accomplished member with a such activity being scammed so easily by a fake twitter account.

well, thank you all for your support and compassion, now I have difficult times.
At least the fraudster is blocked and will not be able to deceive others.
I will sometimes see to it that his account is not unlocked.

He'll probably just move to a different account and buy some followers to make it look legit. Always check a website to see what their official accounts are.

Correct. The user could just put another deceiving name like @yobitsupport, @yobit_help and many others. It is so easy to create a twitter account that a one banned scammer account, 10 or more are created.

At some point he won't have any good handler anymore, so he will need to start getting creative to look legit. Just keep reporting these accounts. :)

then let's go  :D
search on the word "yobit"
11 reports - 11 accounts are already blocked. but not, I misunderstood .. twitter is only going to check them out .. Russia or the USA - everywhere bureaucracy
Oh yeah.
Let the scammers burn in hell.

Yobithelp, я знaю, ты здecь гдe-тo ecть, cyкa, ты oтoбpaл y мeня  мoи жaлкиe кoпeйки, чтo ж, гнидa,  oни тeбe бyдyт oчeнь дopoгo cтoить.

upd.
If you search by word "poloniex" then fraudulent accounts are not detected. They are not)) Probably someone is watching for this.

Why doesn’t Yobit fight fraudsters.
Because it's Yobit, also known by many as "The Scam Exchange". It's like fighting your own kin.

The fact that they don't have any support should tell you that they do not really care about fixing their already tarnished image.

This is not entirely true, when was the last time you went to the exchange and watched how things were? Yobit has changed a lot, hired a new moderator, created telegram chats and test telegram support.

What about technical support. Questions that moderators are able to answer are resolved during the day. Matters where checks, investigations, proceedings are required are transferred to the technical service in the queue, it takes time to resolve them.

All tickets are viewed.

Who has questions or problems, please try to contact the Official Telegram Chat: https://t.me/YobiChatEn
Proof: https://yobit.net/tgm.txt

Comments by the moderator of the matveevka exchange regarding tickets:
matveevka: If there is no answer to the ticket, then the problem is not being solved at the moment. All tickets are processed! Wait. Tickets are not resolved in the chat.
matveevka: 80% are dead coin tickets
matveevka: Once again I write - duplicate tickets for those who have had a problem for a long time.
matveevka: 99% of the ticket solution depends on a detailed writing of the essence of the problem

Attention! Yobit never asks you to create yobicodes or any payments. Never send your info to scammers by email, Telegram or Twitter! Yobit supports never ask your money for solving problems or account activation. We don't have any private or special Invest Boxes. Beware of scams!

My question of blocking the fraudster’s account was resolved, it’s true, but it was resolved for several hours.
The ticket in which I ask about the possibility to return at least part of the funds from the fraudster’s account (we are talking about 0.0105 btc) is still not considered, several days have passed.

Twitter is littered with scam accounts, no one is struggling with this, I have to watch tweets and send reports myself.
To date, I have sent over 20 reports.

Did you try to contact them by telegram as SmashDestroy said. I think with your pictures they can check your story rather easily.
Moreover you're a russian speaker, so I think your case could be handle by their staff more quickly than for a random user : most of users on yobit only speaks english and they have only few english speakers dedicated staff AFAIK.
BTW did you expose your case in the russian section here?

No, after all I can’t blame the exchange for what happened to me, although thanks for the idea, my ticket is still unanswered, I will write there.

Got a response from support
Quote
No, funds lost through the fault of the trader are not compensated.

Well, thanks, good support, the coins are not lost, but you will not give them to me.

Those, the scammer may not have deduced the coins, but the Yobit admins are too lazy to see his account and return me a couple of cents.
Although..
Although it is convenient
The exchange takes everything from the blocked account of the fraudster himself, an additional profit)))

I’ll also say that, for a couple of years on Yobita my tickets have never been resolved, usually there’s just a bureaucratic style reply that doesn’t solve anything, but simply explains the cause of the problem.

Yobit is an exchange that you should not trust at all, and their support will never help you.
For me, Yobit has become an exchange that brings only bad luck.

You misunderstood support. Twitter fraudsters with experience operating more than 2 years. Do you think they immediately withdraw funds or hold on the balance sheet until they are blocked? Obviously, if the funds would remain on the balance of the fraudster, then they would be returned to you. No need to invent fairy tales.

Tickets that have been hanging for a long time must be duplicated.
