How does cross-chain trading work? Which exchanges have implemented efficient and feasible cross-chain transactions

This Bitcoin wiki entry explains it pretty well:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Atomic_swap

I can't really recommend an exchange that does this though, I mean I've seen some projects, but not sure if they were actually completely ready for production.

I never seen any exchange that offered atomic swap feature or it's not yet developed. Only some platforms have already planned to launch the atomic swap technology just like what already written by komodo platform on its WP.

I rarely do cross-chain trading, but yesterday there was a new exchange that can be used for cross-chain trading, namely an exchange developed by vitelabs, and now it is really going well, if you are interested in trying it, please search.
