What's your cold storage set up? Are you using Armory, paper wallets, something else entirely...?

It's kinda risky to move coins to cold storage without knowing how to get them out again.

What method are you using again ?
If you are using the paper wallet then you should know that there are some apps that allows you to move your bitcoins from the paper wallet , more like transfer those coins.

Ex:-
 Blockchain.com
Airbitz
Mycelium
Breadwallet

Then you need to remember your backup phrase and just follow the instructions .

How do I move BitCoin from cold storage into CoinBase?

Without much info, we can't lead you into at least a convenient method.

Although some ways might be identical to each of those cold storage options, it's way better if you will give us specific details so you will get a specific answer.

Just surprised here that you learn to store it in cold storage but never bother to know how to get it out. Not a big deal though.

step 1: choose your favorite wallet
step 2: does your favorite wallet allow importing or sweeping private keys? if not go back to step 1
step 3: decide whether you want to spend all the balance in your paper wallet or only part of it. if all, then skip step 4.
step 4: create a new paper wallet in a safe way (airgap computer, verifying signatures,...)
step 5: import or better yet sweep the key from your paper wallet in your favorite wallet chosen in step 1, set two recipient one is the amount you want to send to Coinbase and the other is the change (remaining funds) and send that to the paper wallet you created in step 4. set the appropriate fee.
step 6: wait for it to confirm and you are done.

How do I move BitCoin from cold storage into CoinBase?

To move your safely stored bitcoin into the unsafely dangerous online wallet, you first import it into a normal wallet, and then send it from there to the online wallet.

So you would get a secure computer os (such as Tails (http://tails.boum.org/)) boot a pc with that, import your cold wallet there using perhaps an updated Electrum (https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum-docs/blob/master/tails.rst) (IMO you should skip step 2 to leave no traces), and then make a transaction to the online wallet.

Then just pray Coinbase doesn't disappear tomorrow, because, its not in your hands anymore....

Whatever you do, don't use windows or your regular leisure computer for handling serious money things. You have been warned.

Here you can find the way to use the coinbase's cold storage.
https://www.coinbase.com/security

Actually cold storage is meant to secure your funds with more security. I believe if your want to move your cold storage funds, there should be some problems for you to withdraw the funds.

How do I move BitCoin from cold storage into CoinBase?
You do not need to be connected to the Internet to make a transaction from your cold storage to your coinbase wallet account.
Generally, the answer will vary depending on the type of cold storage you are using.
if you have a hardware wallet, paper wallet or even using an open-source wallet, it is best to download electrum and then learn how you can send Bitcoin offline using that wallet "it supports hardware wallet & paper wallet."
It is better to do this using a clean computer (or fresh open-source OS,) which has not connected to the Internet before.
