With e-sports growing each day, like old ones Dota, Lol, CS and the new ones like Fortnite, PUBG etc, and competitions become more professional and more money are into, do you think soon we will be gambling with e-sports together with traditional ones?

I think it's only a matter of time, soon we will be betting on e-sports

But on the games we can able to win by using our skills so it cannot become like a traditional gambling where the result of the bets is not in our hands.

I don't see lot of money for the players even if they won but one lottery could change their entire life.

E-sports is nowadays very common in traditional media, eg. big newspapers wrote about the Fortnite championchip last week. Its just a matter of time when well known betting sites like bet365 add e-sports to their portfolio, too.

It already happen where esports and gambling met together as mentioned by lakai. Esports tournament do have millions of money as the reward to the winners of the game tournament. A game that I have played that has millions of money to reward tournament winners is Dota 2 because of every money that they can get from percentage of the money used to buy games promo and from sponsors.

E-sport has already been here before since the start of the release of the multiplayer online games. When Valve starts to release the online first-person shooting games the "Counter-Strike Online" and the most famous MOBA games in Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne and the rest of these new online games then follows.

I remember the day that we used to play Dota 1 while betting who will gonna win and this is the most famous gambling games before. That i remember when i was watching a match the bet would accumulate from $100 - $400. It is not a tournament yet but gamblers are betting to their favorite team with that huge amount.

Many sportsbook including bitcoin sportsbook already have esports added on their list but only a few have included new games like Pubg and Fortnite but they mostly have the old games since they're popular and usually have the most tournaments every year.

People were laughing at e-sports not long ago, now we have million dollar championships. It wont take long for e-sports to become as big as regular sports like football. Steam stopped accepting bitcoin almost 2 years ago, back in December 2017. They stated "high fees and volatility" as the reason. Truly correct betting in e-sport is not in the player hand to getbwin the bet, skills and more analization are very important in this field. But it more fun and exciting games bet via online special basketball related games.

E-sports, especially Dota was very popular as far as I remember, now Fortnite and PUBG has serious growth (well they are new too). Betting on e-sports events is already quite big thing. Now it still can't be compared with traditional sports, but seing how fast e-sports industry is growing, soon they may reach or even overcome traditional sports.
But personally, I've never tried to bet on e-sports - I know nothing about it and I'm not interested. I just feel strange when I'm watching how other people playing computer games. Maybe I'm just too old for it.

When esports was first introduced as an option to online gambling I have to say that I made a lot of money.
Now the favorites have so low odds and they dont give a lot of profits to the gamblers. However, if you watch esports and now the news, you can make some money from that.

I think it's very difficult to bet on an esport. Too little information and too much statistics and results. The rotation of the players is too high and the stability is very low. This has to be developed very much, but it's very difficult.

I've been betting on esports matches, especially CS:GO matches for a very long time (2+ years IIRC). It's pretty popular already with great bet volume for these matches on a lot of sites, and I actively play CS:GO as well so I often bet on matches and watch them while also noting things that I can incorporate into my own gameplay to improve myself. MOBA (Dota2, LoL, Smite, Paladins), FPS ( Counter-Strike, Overwatch, Fortnite, Rainbow six siege) are not the only modes available on esports. Fighting games are also one of them, Tekken, Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter even Dragon Ball are included in this. Evo 2019 Championship Series is the recent event and it is a great tournament, search that out. What I am saying here is that these games will increase and that means more players, more supporters and more price pools and that would really explode in the incoming years. While technology advances, this type of industry will do too.

You can put gambling in any sports, and it's more so in e-sports, it's done online and here in our neighborhood, kids and adults are going for each other and it involves money, and there are a lot of local e-sports tournament, in fact, it's a multi-million dollar business, you can search online and you can see a lot of tournaments here local and international.

Esports gambling and betting are the same , both are gambling but if you mean the traditional gambling , those are more popular than esports betting but there are gamblers  that prefer to bet on esports games because they are also playing that game like for example me i love to play dota and i know how it works , i know some good teams .  so my probability of winning is more on this game compare to dice games or any other betting games  .

Traditional gambling and e-sports gambling has a big difference right now because the traditional one was slowly forgotten not like e-sports like Dota, CSGO or even PUBG now are in on e-sports. Indeed, we can still choose which we are very convenient to play with.

Exactly, they seem to be two different categories. Most of the fans and gamblers of esports are the younger ones. The older ones will not find betting on Dota or PUBG interesting because they do not know much about them. Their predictions would not be as sharp as compared to the sports they grew up with. Of course there are still younger ones who are also gamblers outside esports in the same manner that there are also older people who are still interested in esports. I agree with you, e sports and gambling both are same, but when we wanna play sports betting then we don't say gambling, we just say sports betting. Mostly people think that the traditional games are only games and e sports is different. But in fact the names are different and inside both are same.

Esports - Sports betting are literally different yet this do have different genre but overall these things are just the same where it do involves betting or simply gambling.

People do have different interest but mostly we do see that people like offline sports than to these esports but if you do try to look at on how big this esports you will really not believe much.

I thought betting on e-sports exsits? I remember I was able to place bets in one of those csgo betting sites. I was able to deposit using crypto currencies. Couldn't bet directly with bitcoin or other crypto currencies but was able to bet buy skins with those coins and place bets on major league games. Once I won, I could then convert those skins to bitcoin or other altcoins and withdraw back to my wallet. Everything was almost instant. Forgot the name of the site. All I remember is that few months ago I received an email form them were they said that they were facing legal issues with Valve and that they currently put on hold on every bet and will eventually refund users.

It for sure we don't know anything if we never have some involvement. e-sports and any gambling sport aren't hard to learn if we are motivated to do so or we are really want to engage in those games. We can't just learn through reading but we can make it pretty easy through the actual event.

You are right, and those games now are very well known especially those teenage people who love games because it is easy to bet while you enjoy it watching every match. I admit that e-sports gambling is very having fun not just like traditional gambling.
