Title: If you had to choose one page for a given discipline, what would it be?
Post by: bajkoc on August 07, 2019, 09:47:49 AM
First of all, welcome to all of you. I see many interesting and substantive threads here. I will gladly ask you about the issues that bother me

If you had to choose one page for a given discipline, what would it be?

Please give me e.g:

football - espn,com
basketball - nba,com

etc, etc

Just one best site in you opinion !

I mostly bet on esports today, though I do occasionally bet on sports as well.

For CS:GO betting, I typically use the site HLTV.org (https://www.hltv.org/). The site provides live scores and plenty of data about upcoming matches, perfect for if you want to do some analysis on a CS:GO match bet or if you're just curious what players are facing each other. There's really just nothing better for CS:GO.

For Dota 2 betting, Liquipedia (https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Main_Page) does a pretty good job. The site documents thousands of players and teams, and it's also perfect for any analysis you might want to do on a match. Liquipedia also has a category for CS:GO that I often browse, and it's a great site for viewing past team achievements and individual achievements as well.

The thing where im confused too.How does discipline do correlate with subject body?It isnt really that relevant thats why answering it up basing on topic title would be hard.hehe.
Since we do talk about sports then those examples on OP is common for Basketball and Football for making it as a reference in regards with your betting. There are lots of sites or channels to be mentioned on.

This is not specific,a simple google search for the discipline you want to check would give many results, for football there are is a great amount of pages with Goal.com being one of the pages who discuss news and tips for the most important football games of the day.

I'd stick to esports as that is my main gambling fix. Gosugamers.net is my main go-to hub for esports-related news, game schedules, players and whatnot. For specific games such as Dota 2, Liquipedia is a good source for team information, but H2H and other betting-related stuff, I go to reddit.com/r/dota2 and r/dota2betting for more thorough analysis of upcoming games and other geeky stats that a gambler like me could use before placing that bet. For CS:GO, HLTV.org is a good aggregate for everything CS related, with H2H, past performances analysis and even individual players' KDA ratio, performance and whatnot. For solely betting, I go to r/csgobetting though it's not that much active by now.

I primarily bet on Cricket and Soccer matches and I use Whoscored to help with my research. Whoscored is easily one of the best soccer statistics sites out there and they charge nothing and provide all their stats for free basically.

Footystats.org is my 2nd favorite website which has a great UI and you can observe a good portion of the statistics for free.

Well, there are certainly lots of Sports site that you can choose from but what is most certainly is what you like, or if you love betting and watching news about esports games there are many sites but they are individually separated, And just like you said I think if you want news about

Sports
Basketball - NBA.com
Football - ESPN.com
UFC - bloodyelbow.com
MMA - mmamania.com
Horse Racing - racingtv.com
F1 Race - motorsport.com or formula1.com
Moto GP - motogp.com

Esports
Overwatch - playoverwatch.com
League Of Legends - na.leagueoflegends.com
Dota 2 - liquiddota.com
CS:GO - hltv.org

This is the site that I think can be helpful but if you only prefer on betting on what I have provided.

Well, I'm not a big fan of betting, and when i am betting on some sports occasions, I will choose football because it's the sport that I like most and know how to play it.
So I will have more chance to win that bet. But I like playing in casinos, and I play blackjack all the time.

Well, I think esport is the best choice now because esports is growing so fast. I like 2 games, CS:GO and Dota 2, so I usually choose the hltv.org site for CS:GO and liquiddota.com for Dota 2. But if you don't like or don't understand about esports maybe sports is better, because I won't bet with what i don't understand.

So bet on what you understand, if you like soccer then bet on a soccer match, if you like basketball then bet on a basketball game.

Personally I don't follow boxing news on any news websites, but instead watch interviews and press conferences on Youtube.

Because of this, I would stick with IFL TV for Matchroom boxing coverage, since they always tend to ask the controversial questions.

Plus Kugan Cassius is hilarious sometimes.

I guess he wants to know which sports and website we always use to place the bet or watch the sports. Well, that depends on what we like to watch and what channel that has been broadcast the show. For example, I want to watch Moto GP and F1, I prefer to watch it on my local television channel and then I can place the bets by online website, or I will search on ESPN to see the other sports. There are so many channel television or live online that we could watch. I guess that we have our favorite channel television to watch if we don't have a broadband internet connection.

It's more for researching purposes than using them to watch sports because those websites he gave as an example are also helpful for sports betting.

One website I always go to if I need a quick information on a team or player is flashscore but it's only useful if you're looking for recent and past results.

Following the example rather than the words about threads and disciplines that I also didn't get, I will mention my choices of gambling activities and websites.
Dice - primedice.com, crash game - bustabit.com, sports betting - Sportsbet.io. These are the websites that specialize on the mentioned areas, and the ones that I trust.
