Title: "Griefing"?
Post by: jayc89 on March 15, 2014, 10:40:31 PM
Is anything done about "griefing" on here?

I had a difference of opinion with a user in this thread; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=516588.0

And now that user deems it necessary to label me a scammer etc with no tangible proof whatsoever;
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=506698.0

How is this allowed? This user is damaging my reputation purely because I have a different opinion to him on a subject...

Admins\mods need to clamp down on this sort of stuff. There is a dedicated section for accusations should this user see fit, and I wouldn't be here complaining if there were any tangible proof to support this vindictive accusations.

Clamp down on freedom of speech?  How would that work?

IŽll leave that for someone else.

RiverBoatBTC's Illegal site

And remember, ponzis accept only cryptocoin, YOU accept also REAL MONEY. ;)

Report it to the registrar - abuse@ahnames.com
And the hosting company - http://www.leaseweb.com/en/about-us/contact

lose btc today lose it tomorrow why does it matter your going to lose it ponzi boy

You think I just play ponzis all day or something lol? Only reason I'm talking so much about them is because of stupid threads like this.

You are not doing the community any favour by making them lose their btc, idiot.

It's actually really sad what you're doing. Almost all of you anti-ponzi guys talk like little kids, its hilarious.   ;D

No use arguing with them - dont feed the trolls. Just report his site  ;D

Well RiverBoat, first of all I gotto give you that your website is really nice looking. But since you are all about prohibiting scammers I would advice you to remove PerfectMoney option. They have a long history of scams. Clean up on your front door first, right? However I got tempted to play a little bit on your site, since I actually do think its legit and looks fun. One thing is stopping me though, you claim to not have 50BTC to backup a big win. 50BTC should be peanuts for a "gambling site". That smells scam. Please can you expand what you mean with your statement about the 50BTC and you might have a new customer.

Don't go near his site. He's looking for a loan of 4-8btc for his bank roll. Any casino that is looking for that little is run by a scammer or someone who doesn't know what he's doing.

Quote from the website

"Q: What are the minimum and maximum bets in your games?    (Back to top)

A: The minimum bet in all of our games is $0.01. There is no maximum limit on the bets. "

Yet he is looking for a 4-5BTC loan LOL the site would be screwed if they had a big winner. O no, wait, they just wouldnt pay out hahaha. SCAM.

Then you went in his thread and posted these replies.

A gambling site with no max deposit yet the OP needs a 4-5BTC loan to keep it running?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=510879.msg5640097#msg5640097

I would avoid this site like the plague!

Sure sure guy, keep with the sheeple

I'm just going with the facts in front of us ;)

Did some cut and pasting to place our discussion in the right thread.

I got it from a investment so it is there now, but thanks for reading :) if I scam you on my site you can

scream it from the roof tops

Got any proof that you actually have it?
No have lol

This dude is a dodgy as all the ponzi operators he is trying to close down. It's time to turn the tables!

After this is when he started posting in your thread. Looks more like YOU started griefing him and calling him a scammer because of a "difference of opinion", now he's just returning the favor. Nothing worse than liars, stop trying to waste our time with bullshit you started.

The difference being there is evidence there to support my claims. Like I have said I have no problem with the difference of opinion. It's the pure lies, without anything to back them up which is annoying me.

I have made a couple if successful transactions on this forum and multiple on LocalBitcoins directly, yet I am a scammer? Without any proof I consider this to be grief.

Freedom if speech is one thing, and with tangible evidence I wouldn't be arguing it now, but defamation is another.

Which part of CrazyRabbi's assessment do you find fallacious and/or defamatory?

Post your evidence. Keep in mind it's not defamation if it's true. Butthurt does not (always) equal defamation and it is not one way, it can go both ways.

How is this not griefing?

scam

PONZI SCAM

Believe me, I have no problem with outing scammers, con-men etc. But this is pure griefing without any sort of evidence of justification.

That's the trust rating left you by CraziRabbi.  I'm glad we agree that it is factual.

Yet it's only "griefing" when the other guy does it, am I right? As was pointed out, you played a good role in this yourself.

Not at all, I will happily be reprimanded for griefing if thats what the mods\admins deem my posts to be. My retorts were in response to clear facts present before me. A user who claims to run a gambling site with no maximum bet limits, yet requires a 4-5BTC business loan for said site. That rings alarm bells to me.

Whereas, I see no evidence, or even a sniff of suspicion to suggest I am anything but honest in my own transactions.

That doesn't help other users thought does it. He can post what ever he likes in my threads discouraging potential traders - and this is being allowed.

Make no bones about it - I'm happy to be shot down should there be any substance to these accusations, but without any sort of evidence\proof\whatever this is pure griefing which is having an impact on my trade.

... which is having an impact on my trade.

Should'a thought of that before promoting ponzis.  Lrn 2 free market -- people are free to chose what to believe.  You're free to promote scams, and others are free to call you a scammer.

I am free to promote what I want, if any of the sites I promote turn out to be scams or indeed fraudulent that I will need to take any heat that comes with it. As it stands, I have only played a handful of Ponzi games, and only recommended one of them (which I can remember), none of the games I have taken part in have turned out to be "scams" therefore I still dont understand how that indirectly now makes me a "scammer". Perhaps it's some weird-ass BitCoinTalk logic I'm unaware of.

When you started trying to destroy my business I returned the favor, now next time you do that think it can go both ways.... Like I said the majority older well established older members are against ponzi's you took it upon yourself to be a shill and do something stupid with your buddies and I just returned the favor now you  :'(.

Now below is a post you made on this forum a few days ago

We are looking for a loan in the range of 4-8 BTC, the only use for these coins will be to increase our bank roll and allow instant withdraw and deposits.
We first offered this as a security but we were advised to put it up as a loan by multiple members. 3 Month Loan term

The only collateral I have is the website and the accounts I have now on the site, If I had other collateral I would cash it in and use it to bankroll myself.
Constructive comments welcome, If you comment is not directly related to the loan itself please keep it to yourself.

I also posted that I had been backed by havelock investments but you shills fail to respond to that, then you continued with you crap. Hey mods can you check spixels IP and see how many sock puppets he has lets see who really is  greasy in this whole thing. My bet is 2/3rds of the negativity I am getting is coming from his IP

What is that meant to prove? Someone wins 20btc on your site as it has no limits.. are you going to say

"Hey havelock investments, we need 20btc from you to pay someone that won on our site"

Not a chance. If you had real backing you wouldn't be asking for 4-8btc loans.

Dude acting like this in this section is not the thing to do I can promise you that, so I would change your ways. If your not happy with it then post it somewhere else but I can assure the mods will not stand for that type of behavior in this section. This is about "Griefing" Not my business practices, you and your shills do this all the time try to turn attention away from the issue at hand. If you want me to troll you out other sections I will do it all day. Spixel take your bullshit somewhere else

That's rich coming from you who's had like 15 spam posts deleted in the past few hours.

I'm just replying to you, you're the one who mentioned your casino. If you don't want to talk about it then don't reply to my post.

I wouldn't have even seen this thread if you didn't post the link to it in the gambling section in one of your spam posts.

I will leave this for you spixel from a mod himself he has spoken so this thread should really be closed and locked, being tagged a liar by a mod is the worst thing possible. And my so called "Spam" threads were not removed for spam they were removed for the text being to large.

After this is when he started posting in your thread. Looks more like YOU started griefing him and calling him a scammer because of a "difference of opinion", now he's just returning the favor. Nothing worse than liars, stop trying to waste our time with bullshit you started.

Funny you call me a cry baby, you are doing nothing but crying about ponzis. I don't care about getting my way, I care about other users not being subject to your nonsense.
