ANN: 💥[ANN]💥ETHEREUM BEACON - A rapid transition to Proof-of-Stake ✈️ (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5168538.0)

Flag 1: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=597

  • Ethereum have indeed plan to transition from PoW to PoS algorithm also knows as Ethereum 2.0 (Serenity). Beacon Chain is phase 0 of that transition which is expected to take place sometime in 2020, after the "Istanbul" hard fork.
  • Ethereum Beacon, on the other hand, is nothing more than a phishing website, in fact, 4th in row carried by the same people and bots who have made similar giveaways, swaps and 1:1 forks such as NEO Blockchain 3.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161781), DOTHEREUM (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161753) and a Stellar giveaway (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5166661).
  • Their "wallet" went online just two hours ago, so it's time to tag and flag these idiot scammers.

It does not say to enter any Ethereum private key.
It is for creating new wallet for Beacon.

I am interested to see developers reaction to your claims.
They are very inactive in every way.... and not present in social media also...

For me as @morvillz7z posted above, It require you use Keystone + password or Private Key to access the wallet. It's mean they have your wallet, so don't be scammed like this bro.

Not claims though (speculations or any other unfounded accusations), it's just facts. Ethereum Beacon is a phishing website praying on noobs to import their private keys and be entitled to some non-existent EBEA coins. These scammers are so dumb they haven't even changed downloads page title you get on browsers tab; it says "Downloads Ethereum Basic".  :D

Ethereum Basic vs. Ethereum Beacon

A snapshot of the ETH network will be take on May 16, 2019, and 16:00 GMT. All ETH holders will be entitled to free ETBC coins at a 1:1 ratio. Please note that only personal blockchain wallets can participate in the distribution of ETBC.

All ETH holders are entitled to completely free Ethereum Beacon (EBEA) at a 1:1 ratio after blockchain snapshot on August 8. Click on the button to claim your tokens now.

Both websites have the exact same extension:

"#view-wallet-info"

Code:
https://etbcwallet.com/#view-wallet-info
https://beacon-wallet.com/#view-wallet-info

I have not entered any details or private keys of my own, and I never do that,
but who knows what newbies can do.

Thanks for reporting and helping community.

there are still many participants who support this project even though I've provided warning, they should be tagged redtrust so as not to support on this project. I don't want more people to be deceived and enter private key into website

This is a trap of scam. An experienced person should not fall in their trap. But most likely newbie will fall in this scam trap. Although there is wallet creation option but perhaps newbie would input their old ETH private key during open wallet. I have tried to create an wallet there, but I stop before downloading file. I wouldn't like to download unknown file on my device. Who know how they will scam us?
