Title: Guide : How to undervolt gigabyte 270 (non-x) GV-R927OC-2GD via afterburner Post by: Arlic on March 16, 2014, 12:18:52 AM Hello I have worked out how to change voltage in the gigabyte 270 (non-x) GV-R927OC-2GD via afterburner
1. Download the newest MSI afterburner: download.msi.com/uti_exe/vga/MSIAfterburnerSetup300Beta18.zip 1.1 Download the newset Notepad ++ : http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.5.5.html 2. Open the MSI afterburner then set up as i marked here: https://imageshack.com/i/j7rg68j 3. Then click the big "i" and copy the GUID somewhere out. https://imageshack.com/i/0v0qgpj 4. Close the MSI afterburner via "X" in the right corner or right click on the icon and close it via scroll-down menu 4.1 Go to the directory where you have it installed. 4.2 Go to Profiles folder then search for a fille called as copied GUID 4.3 Make two copies of the .cfg file somewhere out. 4.4 Open one of the copies with Notepad++ and paste below Code: [Setting] Code:
4.6 Run up the MSI afterburner and will have something like that: https://imageshack.com/i/mjs7ujj At the minumum Core voltage is 1.055V, at the maximum voltage is 1.238 The Aux voltage is responsible for phase locked loop voltage, it can make lower temps at power section. Results: Temperatures on my graphic card at the same fan speed and clocks went down from 72 to 64 of celsius degrees The settings of my 270 are : Code Clock: 1060Mhz, Memory Clock: 1250Mhz, Core voltage: 1.055V and AUX voltage: 1.453 If have i helped you give me a tip to support my rig, beacuse one R9 270 isn't enough LTC: LKZZSmD1qpZWcWqdmxCWMY6VMSjiEEQTBS ANC: AHd5bA2ZHavDNgL8e2zW69J7gVeh8jgQNH VTC: VmmKSafdhfK2kWejfQajwPd7SvBNi1HWBk DOGE: DMdVFAAKaptaUWExA7vvmftnoGSmzxTHPr Title: Re: Guide : How to undervolt gigabyte 270 (non-x) GV-R927OC-2GD via afterburner Post by: vinautomatic on March 19, 2014, 02:05:47 PM After editing the file - I got some green +/- bars for those two voltage areas, able to + or - the mVolts by 1 up to 100 in either direction.
But if I tried to touch them at all, as soon as I hit reply, they reset themselves. I did restart after burner after editing the file as well.
