Title: what is your worst crypto casino experience?
Post by: glavomrkzozid on August 13, 2019, 01:44:17 PM
once I've deposited $50 in btc in one online crypto casino without doing proper research, I won like $150 and when I wanted to cash out I realized there is x50 wagger, since then I'm making sure to do proper research or look at reputable list (https://www.nodeposithero.com/bitcoin/) of crypto casinos before depositing.

this should be moved in gambling discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=228.0

this is a common mistake beginners do when they are not familiar how initial deposit bonus works. I myself have encountered this when I started gambling although I was angry at first
I realize that the mistake is mine for not knowing what x wager is.

LOL
This is truly a bad experience. I can not imagine if we have a lot of funds and immediately we bet. 1 second that made regret until now possible  ;D

Sorry, I have never experienced the worst experience in playing a casino, just a small mistake before knowing the game.

I've told this story before.

Basically, I won thousands of dollars in a dice game and then subsequently lost them because it was auto rolling while I was afk.

Not sure if this can be classified as 'worst experience' but at least it was a funny one. From a certain perspective.

Well I had once that autobet didn't reset correctly after a hit so I lost 0.125 btc with that. Gladly I could prove it so I got that all back with some extra's for the found bug. ;-)

I guess that is not since you are willing to accept your losses and afk rolling means you don't mind if you lose the bankroll.

I only play on a Casino where I am promoting in my sig campaign, so far I haven't any issue with them.  Though, I was skeptical about the x wager before withdrawing my balance, but I later found out that it is only applicable if I redeem a bonus from my deposit.  Probably OP, you redeem their deposit bonus.

A common mistake that I mostly do on bitcoin gambling site when I am withdrawing my money on it I always forgot that it has a minimum withdrawal amount and sometimes fees to go with it, Well I am always forgetful of things and I am always forgetting that I am in a gambling site sometimes and not in a bitcoin wallet or other crypto wallets that is why I always forgot that there is certain minimum withdrawal for it,

Well, Appart from this I guess most common mistake for most gamblers are not reading the terms and conditions, They would mostly skip that part, well I have skipped reading it then I got problems with the bonuses and how to get them, Then I kiss my bonus goodbye and can't complain about it.

I had been using gogooptions for my binary gambling. It has been a legit site for quite a long period. Did many deposits and withdrawals.
I was busy for a few months and was not able to check the site or the forum. But when I came back, I deopsited some coin on the site address but never got credited to my account.
Later I realised that gogo options had gone scam and they had many accusations with the operator not responding anyone.

Winning 1.5 BTC in less than an hour from a 0.02 starting bankroll in Betcoin.tm. The site ended up as a scam site though I have managed to withdraw the coins that they owe me. It took 1 week of grief, anger, and fear that I may not see the coins that I have requested for withdrawal, although thankfully I got it and never looked back again. Another one perhaps would be a series of unfortunate live betting on nitrogensports. 2 out of 3 live wagers I had could have won if their system time is on point, but then the lines are closed just even before I was able to place those two bets.

I was betting on a new CS:GO gambling site that took skins and Bitcoin, got a pretty good win on an match and then upon trying to withdraw I got an error message that told me to contact support for more information. After doing that the site requested several forms of KYC verification which I refused to complete because I didn't trust the site (very new at the time), and the site required way too many forms of identification than I was comfortable with. Never visited the site ever again, and I still don't support sites that request KYC only for withdrawals to this day.

It means that you take a deposit bonus because you need to wager x50. Some casinos has automatic system for deposit, so once you make a deposit then you'll get an additional amount. Too bad you did not notice it, if you notice it then you were able to cancel the bonus and play with your own deposit. You do not need to search it out there, this forum is more than enough for you to find which casino is good. Why you dont mention the site's name where you need to wager x50?

What do you mean by X 50 wager ? Do they want you to wager 50 times the amount you deposited ? This only mean that side is a scam and they will not let you withdraw.
Or maybe they think that you will lose all your money before you are able to make the 50x wager.

I signed up for one of those crypto casino adds that was promoting free spins.  Well I use up the free spins and end up winning around 80$ in coins.  Then when I go to cash out they can my account under some false reasoning just so they wouldn't have to pay me.  Good way to lose interest in your casino.

I think this isn't the worst experience you had, although some casino didn't put the information because they have to attract more users with their promo just like what you have experienced, the free spins. It is common to me already since i've faced a lot of promos about of free spin or something similar which is not really for free since you have to deposit first before you could actually cash them out. Worst is if you deposit the money then they don't still process your cash out which is ended as a scam.

Oh My! Lol  ;D This is funny because I have kind of had similar experience once and since then I usually check it twice or thrice before proceeding.
What mostly contributed  to mine with mine was my phone; it hang up and ended up rushing things when it released. Now, I am more careful when using my phone to play.
It was a complete waste of my fund, though the money wasn't much. Thankfully.

..

That's the thing. I didn't put in a dime on that website. The main investment was from the site's faucet. And the fact that few satoshis could rake up a few thousands of dollars was kind of unimaginable. I played for fun so I gained nothing and I lost nothing. Cool party story I guess.

Had I invested any of my own money / coins I'd have torn up all the hair from my head lol.

I also accidentally hit the button of max in dice platform before when I was in old Prime Dice site because it doesn't have a notification when you accidentally hit the max button. But good thing and I still lucky when I saw the result that I won. Holding my breath is just a minute because of that, but now I think they had a notification asking players if agree on max bet.

You can cash out your earnings since you have made a deposit on your own. The one that you can't cash out is the deposit bonus.

It's wrong to put bad impressions to them just because you didn't understand the terms.

What's the site? x50 wager?

I don't want to try that experience that you encounter, I play gambling for just having fun but I lear and I research first how to play and bet money to enjoy the game.

thats litteraly a bad start because when we are noob we wont know if what we are doing but good thing is we are learning and we try to avoid the same errors  again  . gambling is already risky but whats more risky is those gambling sites that are scams and promise to give you good cash  .  this why we should do a research  to avoid getting vitimized by them  .  for me , my worst crypto gambling experience  would be not winning the jackpot  . loosing is normal and so as winning but winning the jackpot ? thats rare

Well, a lot of online casinos offer free spins or other promos to entice customers but when you won then that’s the time they will say stupid things and in the end you will not get paid. In my experience, I also played in a online casino and won until I reach the minimum withdrawal requirement but when I tried to cash out they then said that I had to refer people for me to cash out or i’ll have to wait 1 month plus and I choose to wait but its already 3 months and still haven’t received the money, I tried no send an inquiry to their customer support but no one is replying so it is very important that you have to know the site first before depositing to avoid being scammed.

As far as I remember, I never get the worst experience in the crypto casino because I don't deposit a big amount of coin, I don't place a bet on a big amount. When I withdraw, it runs smoothly, and I always receive the amount although sometimes I need to wait a long time because the network was busy. We need to check on their rules before we deposit, withdraw, or join with them so we can avoid making a mistake while we played on their website. Besides that, we have so many gambling website lists that we can use to play so don't choose the gambling site, which doesn't have a good review from here.

Wait, are there casinos that have rollover requirements just for deposits?
OP is probably not going to answer anymore, but I have a suspicion that he might have accepted a bonus or something, which basically tainted his original deposit, making it virtually impossible to cash out.

This is exactly the reason why I never tend to accept bonuses that have rollover requirements.

It does exist, Fortunejack for the example. There is requirement to wager 2x of the deposit on the casino games before players are allowed to withdraw or bet 50% of the deposit on the sportsbook.
But here he say needs to wager 50x, I'm pretty sure this is about deposit bonus. So he took deposit bonus with 50x wagering requirement, it is just impossible if he did not take any bonus but he have to wager 50x of his deposit. If there is a casino with 50x wagering for deposit only without bonus, then it is obviously scam site IMO.

^ Definitely right, this is because of lack in research before patronizing gambling sites and accept bonuses that have rollover requirements.
Gamblers should always read the FAQ or the terms of conditions before depositing their fund to avoid possible from in the future.
Good thing I never experience a similar scenario like this that probably make us annoyed.

Lose my 0.015 profit with only 0.002 capital from a sportsbetting site. I was really lucky that time because I was just betting on basketball and volleyball to whom would win and have lower odds. Luckily I win consecutively until I reached that profit. On the last game I bet, I went all-in then after a minute it just disappeared like nothing happened because the team I put my bet lose.

It happens couple of month ago, but I still want to share it with you.

I joined wagering competition on a casino site and the result is I am the overall winner of the competition, after that team cancelled the competition and I wont be able to claim my rewards. This is a little bit frustrating because they compensate me even a little.

Seriously, the frustration of such mistake can be annoying especially when you have planned on how to win your game.
For situations like that, it more like more dashing the site your money because the game wasn't called for. And good thing they have set up a notification, probably many users might have experienced the same thing too. Not every gambling site have that feature, I don't think that site I played on has it either.

All the worst thing happen in crypto gambling were come from our mistake...We are not perfect in the other hand. Though it sounds like regrettable but it has also a good impact as it helps us to realize that we are wrong.
All gamblers might pass into this unforgettable moment and it gives a basis for the next bet. Losing $1000 in just a single bet is really big and it makes me crazy on that day...

Yes, most of the crypto gambling sites that have good support in this forum is recommended to play with. Because if in case something goes wrong with your account or the game itself, you can always raise your concerns via their respective threads. It is better to play in a reputable site rather than an unknown site with good bonuses.

Indeed, usually those who provide conditions for withdrawing with 50x wager are sites that offer deposit bonuses. You cannot withdraw bonuses and profits before you reach 50x wager, but you can still withdraw on your own capital. Next time, you have to be more selective in seeing the terms of each promo given, because that's the important thing before playing gambling.

There is a special place that has been created for special people like you mate, and that is gambling section which I am glad that the forum members there would be glad to have your post over there, because here, we strictly discuss economics, and we are not much interested in gambling for us to really understand what you are talking about. Like me, I hate gambling a lot with passion, and I do see most people that gamble as a non-serious fellow with so many things that is in this industry to make use of.

If you want to talk about trading, cryptocurrency, its effect on the economy of the world generally, they we will be very glad to have your post here, just like my other mates has suggested, it would be necessary that you move the topic to gambling.

For me, I feel the same way, but different situation, I'm playing poker too and also have a four strike win and have a great full house a cards but before my turn the whole city got blackout I feel very bad when it happen because I bet a huge amount ( my profit on the past 2 games) on that because I'm feeling lucky on that moment. But after that I just relax and calm myself, I still have profits and no need to vexation. :)

The worst experience I could remember was blindly joining on a new gambling site and I made a bet to participate in their giveaway but I got scammed because they changed their terms afterwards.  The bet I lost was around BTC0.005 or BTC0.01 when the price was still below $1,000. Another bad experience I had was from nitrogensports i've used them several times but one day some of my winning bets was voided because their sportsbook was having some errors where lines are still up when it shouldn't after a game starts.

This is very common with scam sites. They make you believe you have won and the next minute the site is gone. I can only imagine the joy in you knowing that you have won 1.5 BTC and the sadness to know it is a scam site. Be thankful that you got the few coins a, at least you did not lost out completely.

I had a terrible experience on one of my favorite gambling site months back and it’s still a great shock to me, it’s the first experience of great loss to be encountered since i started gambling, I have always heard how people loose but it has never happened, maybe because I always played with little money. So, I got my salary and I wanted to do something unusual, I dropped the money for a sport bet and within a twinkle of an eye, it was all gone.

This is really one of the worst experience a user can encounter. These kind of conditions are usually in place when the casino has offered you a deposit bonus and you have to meet their conditions before you withdraw.

But when you get to meet conditions without any bonus offered it is truly a bad experience,I never had such experience as I only play in few well known casinos.
