To be honest, right now I would buy NOIA coins.July 22, the company held the listing on Kucoin and you can buy coins (so far) only on that exchange. Here the website with a description of the concept:https://noia.network/ (https://noia.network/).I'm just delighted with this project and I hope that their coins within 6 months or 1 year will please me as an investor.

90% Real Estate, 10% BTC. Just because the market is too volatile.

Really in real estate with such small money? Sounds like a joke.
In addition, this is not a good time to invest in this market because now is a bubble.

50% cash
50% btc

Reevaluate in 30 days.

If btc drops 10% or more buy more with the 1000 cash.  Buy 500 more.

Reevaluate in 30 days

If btc drops 10% or more buy more with the 500 left.  Buy 250 more

Reeevaluate in 30 days if btc drops 10% or more buy the last 250.

If btc does not drop.  And goes up up up. Just stay at 1000 in btc and 1000 in cash.

Until the btc you held is worth 2000 at that point sell 1000

Put it with the first 1000 you held giving you 2000

And 1000 in btc.  Just hold that as it is all profit.

All in for BTC. $2,000.

All listed investments are risky so why increase the risks more by playing with other altcoins or putting on stable assets.

90% Real Estate, 10% BTC. Just because the market is too volatile.

$2,000 capital for real estate won't do much even for a decade. Even putting it up on pre-selling project located at the plain field that has the potential to become a big business area in the future. To get a decent share, I believed a capital must be minimum $10,000 (shares only) up as there are many investors who will also put some shares.

I like gold and silver but it's just I don't think that these two precious metals aren't for me. As of now, if I have $2,000 to invest IF I'm new to cryptocurrencies. I'd like to put it on Bitcoin, if not 100%.

Maybe I'll be certain to put around 80%-90% on it while the rest will be on altcoins like ethereum. Like now, the price plunged and it's the right time to buy bitcoin. And when I've got enough profit, I think that would be the time to diversify through gold and silver.

Buy a pound of weed for $1500, flip it for $4000-5000, rinse and repeat.
Or if you want to make some real money, buy clones for 5$, each one of them will give you around a qp depending on the strain, $5 turns into $1500, you just need to wait, they say money does not grow on tree`s but they lied.

psst it is legal here where I live ^_^, just sell one ounce at a time and don`t say your selling it you are "sharing" it.

Your idea is correct but your capital too low. Perhaps 50/50, bitcoin with something else. Metals are "safe" but boring (expect years for any action). I don't really see much difference from Gold and Silver, except its price per weight but they tend to move the same so its pointless to buy both. Its not like you will see gold going one way and silver the other...

10% ALTS

Altcoins have fallen a lot in price and I don't see them recovering in the short term. that's why I think you shouldn't invest in altcoins

20% GOLD
20% SILVER

I don't know what the gold and silver market looks like, but if you make a profit in this market, I believe the profit will be very low

Do you have guys any other suggestions? I will be grateful :)

take your $2000 and buy bitcoin and then hold it until the end of next year, you will have a 2x profit or even 3x profit which in my opinion is very good

A good inversion would be to buy some clams and let them stake on just dice. that's one inversion who can pay you 0.1% daily, isn't bad at all but the payment comes in clams, so, if the clam price goes down you will have to wait until it recovers to sell. While the price recover, you will have more clams... Would be a nice goal to leave them mining one year.

Well, I will put 50/50 between Bitcoin and altcoins, for bitcoin I will hold it for long term while in altcoins
I will apply day trade and will choose coins that has promising and potential with a high volume too in the market
which I am surely will give me a good profit in the end.

in my portfolio, I will put funds in BTC 50% and 50% Altcoins because these two coins are better than gold or silver. if you want to spend your funds on Bitcoin it's good and if at Altcoin it's also not bad, I'm saying that because crypto scientists say that BTC is better than gold. it all depends on your beliefs and brave to accept risk.

Bitcoin only and no altcoins until after the fork next May.

I see Bitcoin dominance reaching 90% as most of the alts are quite useless and scams.
Alt coins will go down a lot more.

I doubt there will be an altcoin season again. If this happens it should be after the halving.
Also I wouldn't touch most of the altcoins that pumped in 2017. Most of them are dead already. They will pump in an altseason but they won't give you the returns you would expect.

The market is doing goods right now, but even if it is not I'm going for 70% on Bitcoin, it's the best investment in the world right now, and 10% for altcoins I would like to increase it but Bitcoin dominance is very far, 20% I would invest for offline partnership with my sister in her grocery shop, so even if the market is down and I cannot withdraw I still have some grocery items for our daily needs.

50% bitcoin
50% gold
And i personally will avoid silver and altcoins especially for long term purpose that those investment tools above is more safe than the other one but my portfolio can be changed for short term purpose that i will reduce gold percentages became an 40% and 10% for altcoins

2000$ USD is too much money for me to invest it on Bitcoins maybe I'll take my Courage to invest the half of it on Bitcoins and the other half to real business on the outside world. I will try my luck on these 2 methods.

Because if I ever failed on one of them at least I will have a fallback, then I can start again with my current experience and when I get lucky on that 2 methods then its surely a win-win situation for me.

This is the only good Investment that I think that has less failure rate. I don't know about the other coins but If I ever Invest in bitcoins I'll wait for its sudden fall again.

$1000 = Bitcoins
$1000 = Business on Outside World

maybe I will also use it for $ 1000 on bitcoin, and $ 1000 for outside investment. I need an investment balance from bitcoin and the outside world. of course I'm optimistic about bitcoin, because the price is always recovering every year. but, I also need reserve investments like other physical possessions. it can be a good business.

I think it's not completely safe to put all your investment in bitcoin since the price keeps fluctuating so much.
I would rather decrease the risk by investing half of the amount in bitcoin while keeping the rest in Fixed Deposits or Mutual Funds.
Although the returns might not be as much as bitcoin could give but at least the risk of losing the investment will get decreased.

I do not provide financial advice, but rather think what I would do if I had this amount of money to invest. I would put 90% in Bitcoin and 10% is some altcoins (Ethereum, IOTA). Investing if gold really does not make sense to me. Just take a look at price dynamics over the last 5 years to see that the price basically doesn't change much lately. And silver is like a worse version of gold, so I wouldn't invest in it either. Someone mentioned real estate, and I would probably buy a flat, but this requires way more money.

2000$ i think i will never invest in gold and silver because cryptocurrency is more profitable that it.
this is my list :
BTC 50%, ETH 20%, BNB 20%, Other Altcoin 10%.
that is the best my list if i want to invest and all invest in cryptocurrency not in real.

For now I will buy some potential altcoin if I have fund. Because it might increase my btc due to current dump of alts. If you take a look on current markets you will notice that all altcoin are huge dump, most likely we will never see this dump again, so we can take benefits of this dump. This is just my opinion, don't take it seriously and do your own diligence before invest your fund.

Let's be a little bit wide in thinking. It depends on where you live, in some countries 2000$ is a really good amount to start a good business, for example food services, you know foods are sold pretty easily, especially if you make good one because it's something that people consume everyday. In some countries, you can also rent 5-6 good apartament and then rent daily on tourists which can really bring you a good profit. But if you live in USA for example. better to really invest in bitcoin or altcoins for at least normal profit because prices here are very high on everything.

Don't take random peoples suggestion from the internet. You will always get biased response. They will suggest you to invest on coins they have invested on no matter how shit that coin is. If you think BTC, ALTS, GOLD and SILVER are good investment for you, then go ahead. It is a good thing that you are investing only 10% of altcoins since they are the riskiest one. If I were you I would keep some portion as fiat and use it in case of emergency. I wouldn't want to convert my investment into fiat during my time of need.

I wouldn't hesitate to invest all in bitcoin. I don't think I need to explain why I would invest in bitcoin. I have to wait a couple of months and I am sure that $2000 would increase to $3000.

I feel Ethereum also can be reliable but Bitcoin is the best for investment IMO.

That calculation is good because you choose bitcoin as the most investment and you use 50% from $2000. I will do the same as you, but I don't choose silver as the investment, and I think it's better to have 20% in fiat so you can use it as the backup investment. Besides that, you can also use 20% of your money as an urgent thing that might comes in anytime, so you don't have to confuse with anything. I think you can grow your investment in bitcoin and altcoin because the price of bitcoin and altcoin can increase in anytime too so you can sell it at a higher price.

precious metals are stable but the profit will also slow but thats okay if you are a guy that doesnt want to take more risk   . gold is already good when it comes to chosing a precious metal and silver isnt really recomended instead you can put the funds on extra btc or on some alts and tokens  .

let say 50% for btc , 30% for promosing alts/tokens  and the rest 20 % for stable assets like gold for example   but if ever i have that amount i think i will allocate 70/30  ,70 for btc and the rest goes to eth alone   .

Some years ago, I would have answered that I would invest 60% in bitcoin and 40% in alternative coins but now if that same question is being asked again, I'll say that all the 2000$ USD will be invested solely in bitcoin because its the top leading cryptocurrency and has a great potential.

You put all in Btc and alts or maybe you buy too some precious metals.
Im looking for any idea for a portfolio.

50% BTC
10% ALTS
20% GOLD
20% SILVER

No Gold or Silver. I will invest 70% on Bitcoin and 30% on Alts. If you invest money on Gold and Silver, its like you placed your money on forex where price moves very slow and ever it moved, the difference will only be small. Unlike in Bitcoin and Alts you will see the difference because of the price difference when the price moves.

For me, 80 percent of it will go in Bitcoin and 20 percent of  it will go in gold.
I believe in Bitcoin and the massive changes it will bring in the future but I'm the personally love to keep some gold.
For me, it's more like a back up, for unseen situations.
Well, it is something we need some assurance. Crypto isn't 100% sure for market returns by now, but I still believe that it could give something I expect to happen with my investment.
Of course,  I will never risk my $2000 in just a single investment, better to share it into different coins and 30% of it will be going into local investment.

For me i will invest 80% in bitcoin and the 20% in altcoin. Because at this generation investing in cryptocurrency is the best way to earn higher profit.
Don't forget that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is a high volatility investment. Many traders are happy to get profit and some are sad to lose their assets. Investing in crypto also has a big risk if you are not patient. If you are a trader who is able to predict short-term investments, you will get a big profit.

I do not know about silver, I don’t know how reliable and profitable its investment could be, but I think the other three you mentioned is quite good. But if I am to redistribute its percentage, I think you should make it like 30% in bitcoin, 20% in gold, 10% in altcoins, and then the remaining 40 should be put into a physical business.

All you have here are digital assets investment and I think there is a need to also make a diversification into a physical business, maybe any small retail business that could still be generating more money for you to keep using to top up your investment because you know that even with these digital assets that you have, the more you have in it is the more that you will get at the end of your goal, so the business would be the one to bring more of this funding.

Your premise for investing in different commodities is interesting but also a little risky. If you understand how the investment market works, you would understand now almost every commodity on the market revolves around the fluctuations in the price of Bitcoins.
If you want to play safe, you should go ahead with you plan of investment but if making huge profits is your goal, I’d invest about 80% in BTC and the remaining 20% in Gold.
This way, if you invest in BTC right now and wait till November, you’re sure to hit a big profit according to past trends. Whereas, Gold keeps on fluctuating and an investment in that would be a safe bet.

if you have other money and want to invest your $ 2,000 long term, I think you better get 50% for bitcoin and another 50% for potential altcoin like eth, bch or others. but if you are afraid of losing, investing in real gold then your risk is very different if you invest in crypto of course.
You should know that the greater the risk, the more likely it is to make a profit.
and vice versa.
if investing in gold can be said to have almost no risk but the benefits you get are also very unlikely.

We need to have a good portfolio if we want to make a profit from our investment since we are already in the bull market, I will put 80% of my funds to Cryptocurrency with Bitcoin getting the big supply of 40% and altcoins like Ethereum eos tron and binance coin for 40%
the remaining 20% is for any offline investment like a store or partnership.

@smajler you have not provided us detailed information eg what is your risk taking capability, what is your age, do you have any goals for which you’re saving. As you have mentioned crypto’s I’m assuming you can handle risk then I would suggest you to invest 85% of your income in bitcoins, 10% in alts and 5% in metals. Over a period of time study your portfolio and shift your money from Alts and metals to bitcoins, and try and buy bitcoins everytime it dips this way you’ll get a great average. Lastly if you invest in bitcoins then learn to ignore short term fluctuations, and hodl it for the long term.

Good investment makes your happy, healthy and pleasure and inspire you to more investment in future. So, I want to invest 600$ for three coins such as - Bitcoin(BTC-400$), Ethereum(ETH-100$), and MB8 coin(MB8-100$). Rest of 1400$, I invest for real estate or buy some products and wealth for my business.

A very safe investment allocation option. Gold and silver can be good investments besides bitcoin or altcoin. Altcoin is a risky investment and allocating only 10% is the right choice. Bitcoin will always take the biggest investment portion because with limited supply, in my opinion bitcoin can be a store of value

unquestionably I would invest in Litecoin

look at the current price:

https://i.imgur.com/HB87ENR.png

But in the month of June the price was $130 ( 0.014 BTC )... that's is bad investment, it had a pump just because of the halving

Don't take random peoples suggestion from the internet. You will always get biased response. They will suggest you to invest on coins they have invested on no matter how shit that coin is.

You are forgetting that even in this thread has good advice and opinions, I believe that the person should read the comments and do some research and then decide what to do.

I think it's not completely safe to put all your investment in bitcoin since the price keeps fluctuating so much.

the best investment is bitcoin

BTC 50%, ETH 20%, BNB 20%, Other Altcoin 10%.

About ETH:

Vitalik Buterin Talks Scalability: ‘Ethereum Blockchain Is Almost Full’ (https://cointelegraph.com/news/vitalik-buterin-talks-scalability-ethereum-blockchain-is-almost-full)

became a very risky long term investment

Your investment breakdown looks good but I think your investment in silver should be increased consideting the fact that a move to its previous ATH would put you at at profit of about 300%. Gold does have some potential but I think it's more stability as wealth security than for investment. Its movement cannot be compared to with that of cryptocurrency.

other 1000 $ buy Tether for if btc and other coins drop price before end of the year in that moment buy Litecoin and stay to pump

Since you are here in crypto and bitcoin world, much better to invest the 50% on bitcoinBTCthe hold after that the remaining
capital will goes to altcoins where you can do day trade to multiply it again get more profit or you can also hold them too just buy
coins that listed on top at the coinmarketcap(CMC).

Although is pretty hard to choose a good investment from cryptocurrency because of many scam projects but not withstanding if a good project is found and invest such huge amount of.money, then there will be a profit at the end. I will chose to invest 70% into Altcoins and 30% into Bitcoin.

but it all depends again on you, can just accept the advice that is already here, or you make an analysis first.
Maybe my advice at this time is better to invest in bitcoin, because the price is enough to be able to find profits quickly without a long-term investment. because the price of bitcoin is now descending and rising rapidly changing.

IPO? Do people still pay attention Initial Public Offering, I thought that means of crowd funding was already dead since ICO came to chase it away  from the heart of every single investors, except maybe they are just gradually taking advantage of the challenge of ICO now to make it popular again, but I doubt if people would still pay attention to it after testing what ICO profit is because IPO profit is just like STO, they are all fixed and I think the highest profit they can give in a year is 5 percent which some banks even give more than just leaving your money with them for that long.

I think that IEO is what people are considering more now and not IPO and IPO system does not work in line with cryptocurrency, and this is crypto that we are talking about here, so I don’t see they fit in.

Your thinking idea is so good just add something decided to hold time short term or long term, I hope better than 30-40% reserved always money on your holl balance. If most people trade for a short period of time then it becomes apparent that after the disappointment of disappointment this problem will not happen. so best idea 30% reserved in BTC.
However, they can be avoided if you are careful.

ICO or STO or IEO, they are all the basic scams that so called blockchain based gimmick projects use to market them. These startups are highly risky to put your neck in. 2017 was the year of ICO buzz and when it went down they simply changed it to STO trying to make themselves look legit with security tokens but scammer at heart and now they come back with IEO which is also nothing different. If you want something to put your money in do it in bitcoin at a good price and nothing else. Every other new project coming up will either force a KYC on your throat or run away with devs abandoning the project or the CEO will fake their death and what not.

IPO does not apply here. That is for the stock market. Vaguely they took the similarity in names but remained largely unregulated. ;)

Today, 2 thousand is not such a great sum for the cryptocurrencies. Although, if you are a newbie, the best sum you should better start with is 100-200 dollars. If an expert uses this amount, I guess, he would choose Bitcoin and Ethereum and wait for 2020. It will be the time of Bitcoin halving and Ethereum 2.0 launch, which will affect the price of these leading cryptocurrencies.

True, I don't know what kind of real estate you can buy at $2,000 USD. That is just 110,000 Pesos here in the Philippines. Its just enough to pay for the down payment of a 1 bedroom condominium unit. Maybe a plot of agricultural land in the province but returns is small compared to other forms of investment.

I agree.

That $2000 will not be enough at that investing. Better get some good cryptocurrencies in the market since there are a lot of them there that can give you a good profit in either long run or short time. Better take advantage of it while it is still a good price.

You can find the knowledge from the internet, and you don't have to pay for the courses. You should use the money to invest in gold and cryptocurrency because gold and cryptocurrency become popular now. I guess that in the future, cryptocurrency will be more popular than now. Perhaps, you need to make a plan about investing in the cryptocurrency and gold so you can allocate the money for each investment. But don't forget that from $2k, you need to have fiat money to back up the investment if somehow, the value of the investment is down so you can buy back again at a lower price.

I think diversifying is a good decision in any amount but at the same time when you have something as low as 2000 dollars the best might be just putting your money into bitcoin, that way you can at least not risk too much and you can still earn a decent amount of money considering bitcoin usually goes up in the end, we don't know when altcoins will go up and we don't know if the coin you picked go up but we know altcoins will go up anyway.

Hence, I would say for something as low as 2000 dollars it would be smart to put it all on bitcoin. That doesn't mean it is the smartest choice, but that looks like the safest choice available right now, if you secure it in a good way you can hold it and make more money. Hell you can put it on freebitco.in and earn %4 yearly interest as well, not much but you will make money while making money.
