Title: Do you think ETH will bounce back to $600 or back below $100 ?

Guys, i am new here, i was buying ETH today. I'm not really following this, i just thought ETH is still cheap now and 2020 seems cryptocurrency get many big event (libra, ETH 2.0, btc halving day)..
Did i wrong ? Did ETH still good ?

I think ETH will go back up but to touch 600 $ this year is impossible.
it will be very possible if ETH will return to the price of 400 $ this year and will continue to rise the following year.
that's just my prediction, for certainty I'm not an expert in that.

ethereum is still trusted by investors and don't worry about buying ethereum with nothing to lose, now ethereum is cheap to buy lots and save for future investments and can reach 1000 $ next year

I think ETH is a real shitcoin, however it will go above $600 again before crawling to its grave. The crypto road is long and winding with a lot of ups and downs along the way...

You are not wrong in buying ETH at current rate since that's the best option for altcoins right now. I don't also think ETH will drop below 100$ or go above 600$ so soon. Please note that if you are holding ETH, you should be patient, the market is not so favorable for altcoins especially right now. Talking about the big events come next year, it's true that everything being equal, they should cause a spike in prices but crypto market is highly volatile, the reverse might happen if there is FUD so nobody knows for sure. We just have to be optimistic.

Ether is one of the strong coins and after the BTC bull run, when alt season start ETH is going to be one of the fast-moving coins in my opinion. I think we are going to see an all-time high in two years.

We know the capabilities of ETH and a lot of investors are still holding with. Bringing back into below $100 isn't impossible to happen this year-round but not really sure for the next year as the bearish season may come again.
The current market situation shows the minimal price fluctuations, in fact, we can't see the entire market moves high rather than to steadily stay at its range. Thinking for another $600 break, seems too hard at this time. It might be staying below $4 until the end of this year.(IMO).

for now is too early for Ethereum hit the price $600, in my speculation untill end of this year ethereum price keep stable at the $300-$400/Ethereum.
and for me ethereum still worth it to invest our money, especially for hodl in long time

ETH is always good. It maybe currently in a negative but for sure once btc bounce back it will follow and the good thing is that since it is high even though it dumps you will not be hurt that high. And the fact that ETH is still number 2. You can't deny that eth is still something anyway it needs more improvements and updates.

Ethereum still the best investment so far like bitcoin but the problem is we don't know when ethereum can be back to the higher price again. That will not happen for ethereum only, but the other altcoin has the same thing, and all of the altcoins still waiting for the right time to increase. Besides that, we are still waiting for the bull run that will come, and when the bull run is coming, all of the coins will start to increase, and I think the price will explode and back to the higher price again.

ETH is still a great choice, but I am unsure whether or not now is a good time to get in. Prices have dropped significantly today after a bit of a downtrend for a while. We are probably at quite an important point right now. The market seems undecided whether we should be bullish or bearish... and the response to today's significant market drops might go a long way to determining that.

In the year 2020, of course, many people would expect that Ethereum could return to $600. You take a good decision because you decide to invest long term. Ethereum still has a very large community and is still the main choice as a platform. So this coin can still give a big surprise.

i didn't really set target too high, i still had no clue the major effect of big bullish in coins.
By buying around 200 and selling 600 will be 300% profit, i didn't mind hodling until 2020 or 2021, i can't thought other investment that can be high profitable :D

I am still optimistic that eth will remain at a price above $ 100 because if eth reaches below $ 100 it must be a bad thing and I think maybe the price of altcoin will decline

I am also optimistic about ETH prices. however, there has been no development to date. although the price is closer to $ 100 compared to $ 600 but at the end of the year, there is a possibility the price ETH can reach it. I believe ETH can bounce back into $600 someday. ETH need something news or updates that can make huge FOMO and hype so it can boost the ETH price...

You just have made a good investment and that's will make profit for you if you hold for long term. ETH is the best crypto after Bitcoin, I am sure ETH price will bounce back in Q4 in this year.

The probability is much more higher to get below 100$ than above 600$. Just think of the reasons why ETH had a such rally in the past and have the circumstances could have changed now...

BTC could save it tough, if it will rebound and go up again, ETh wont go down but will slowly go up not to 600$ tough

The most interesting thing is that in the next year and a half, both scenarios are possible, and even repeatedly. It so happened that ETH is currently heavily dependent on BTC and personally I see no reason to break this connection.

Buying eth this time is still good decision since price has not surge yet. We cannot tell when it can moon and I don’t think it will go down below $100. Though, market price is unpredictable I still optimist on the Eth that it can go high in time.

you made the right decision mate, ethereum is a very good coin to be made an investment, although now it has decreased prices but ethereum is still trusted by everyone and remains the number 2 coin after bitcoin

I think the Ethereum price will go up slowly with time, but it will take somehow a long time until it hits the 600$ level again, maybe several coming months. But I believe that it is not going to decrease below 100$ again because the whole crypto market is actually recovering, and prices are going up with time.

Do not lose your hope to the most trusted the most commonly used platform in the Altcoin market because not only Ethereum is in difficult now but the whole market too. Libra was owned by Facebook in which it would probably a success but still it doesn't mean it will supersede Ethereum because i don't see any unique concept of this coin.

Ethereum is still good mate. Because it always make progress when bitcoin gradually increasing as well. But you should focus in long term and don't pressure yourself in short term because it's so difficult especially for you 'cause you're a beginner . So must wait! Wherine make a fundamental analysis instead and create a target. So that once eth regain value along with bitcoin that only thing you need to do is to sell without further do . Activate all the notification where you can receive a good news about the market in order to become updated.

Yes, ETH is still a great coin. I think $100 is unlikely, but still probably more likely than $600 this year.
The markets have dropped a bit recently, but have been recovering well. I think this is a good sign and it suggests that we have some quite solid support there... which should in theory set us up for some price rises. However $600 is a big leap for ETH, and given that all of crypto is moving together, it might take a new ATH for BTC in ordeer for ETH to hit $600, which doesn't seem likely this year.

ETH is still good, it's just a matter of time.

ETH to drop below $100, that's good, it gives an opportunity to buy again although it can't be deny that there might be a panic in the market if that would happen. On the other hand, if it will goes $600, that's also good but I don't think it's gonna happen if BTC would remain at its current movement now.
Sideways movement of BTC will not ignite a rally of altcoins, BTC should move uptrend and break its ATH, and then we can possibly see it at over $600.

I think that in the fourth quarter of this year, the cryptocurrency market will rise and the ethereum price will rise along with it. Now the price will float until the fall. In theory, Serenity could increase scalability by as much as 1000x (hopefully).
… also zk-snarks (a “zero knowledge proofs” technology created for zcash) might be used as a temporary scaling solution in the meantime.

So this updates will give the potential boost to ETH and could push the price to $600. Don't count ETH yet, there are still a lot of developments going from behind. Just continue to accumulate so that you are better prepared when the bull run happens.

there is a possibility of falling below $ 100 if bitcoin is also experiencing a large decline which makes the market in a bear condition. but when bitcoin is okay, and their updates are implemented, it will make growth. $ 600 may be achieved, but it will not bring certainty because it requires market movements that run up to help the ETH can more easily go up.

Correct, Ethereum's price can be said as cheap as today but this is only for those people that are longing to break the all time high or even reach it again.
Many are missing the chance today and would want to ride if there's a movement. The market reaction is like that, if the coin is stagnant, don't expect that there will be lots of support for it but once it shows something such as rising, you'll see people get crazy over it.

The markets still seem to be uncertain, with prices hovering in a narrow range. It looks like a price breakout one way or the other is imminent. I would cautiously say a price move upwards is more likely, because downwards has been tested a couple of times already and it does seem there is some solid support there... so with that in mind, I would say $600 is more likely than $100 for ETH.

So many people commenting on whether or not 600 or 100 is realistic. It all depends on bitcoin price so it's a little pointless speculating eth price in usd when its tied to btc pairing generally. If bitcoin is $500k each (I know I know just using the number for example purposes) $600 eth doesnt seem like a lot at all, although if btc dips to $600, then $600 eth seems way too high. I prefer to look at alt prices in terms of sats instead of usd, but that's just me.

I'm hopeful for that year. If that year won't be the best for bitcoin and Ethereum, we just have to wait a little bit longer for about another year to see the impact of the market. ETH will be having that positive move and bouncing back to $600 and more than that is going to be pretty easy and chilling for it.

I'm hearing a lot of prediction last year that ETH will rise again in 2019, but it seems it's not happening this year yet, so another prediction for next year for those who are bullish on ETH. You are buying coins that you don’t really follow as what you stated here?

I think that Ethereum will not go down to $ 100.For the next six months or a year, apparently the price will only grow.$ 600 is too much.I think within $ 400 the price may well be.

Reading through the replies here, you'll get the idea why this board is a speculative board. Everyone is just writing down their assumption without considering some major factors. Ethereum was overhyped & as a result it got overpriced. Ethereum trading around $1400+ as it was
before the drop to $600 wasn't healthy for the blockchain as it's utility purpose got overshadowed by it's price valued. Without the ICO fever ethereum would had experience a healthy growth and won't have decline to the current price irrespective of the altcoin bear season.

Ethereum is a platform for God's sake, what we should be more consider about should be the utility purpose of the project, how effectively is it, been used. The current or future price of ethereum isn't it's number priority so don't expect any hype in attempt to boost the price like other altcoins are doing. Ethereum focus is on developing itself to remain the no1 preferred blockchain for dApp operations.

yeah right, maybe Ethereum won't go down below $ 100 USD, but we don't know about the future, if ETH falls below $ 100 USD then it will be a valuable opportunity to buy more ETH

it will happen when the supply in the market increases. The developer must pay attention to this, how ETH should try to reduce the inventory circulating in the market. it will help how the price of ETH can be in accordance with market demand. even if the market response is good ETH can make a pump.
