Title: To all the statistics guys out there, here's a challenge. Post by: TheBeardedBaby on August 16, 2019, 05:44:44 PM I need a list with all the users I've sent the last needed merit to rank up.
Let's see who's gonna come first with the solution. I suppose I helped around 15-20 people to rank up till now but maybe I'm wrong, let's see. Title: Re: To all the statistics guys out there, here's a challenge. Post by: Lafu on August 16, 2019, 06:05:04 PM Guess if you ask LoyceV or DdmrDdmr would be best and fastest solution to get your stats for that !
Maybe some others too if they have the time for . Title: Re: To all the statistics guys out there, here's a challenge. Post by: Welsh on August 16, 2019, 06:37:24 PM In addition to this it would be nice to see the top amount of users who have given that last bit of merit to rank someone up. I'm not sure the amount of work which would be required for this so shall we say a top 10?
Title: Re: To all the statistics guys out there, here's a challenge. Post by: LoyceMobile on August 16, 2019, 06:53:58 PM I can do this, but then I can just as well do it for all users. And since I didn't keep track of airdropped merit amounts, I'll have to scrape all profiles.
I have more urgent things to do though, so if nobody does it I'll do it at a (much) later time. Do you also want to know the Newbies you turned into Jr. Member? Title: Re: To all the statistics guys out there, here's a challenge. Post by: DdmrDdmr on August 16, 2019, 07:05:35 PM I think it would be nice for someone “newish” to do it, although it requires to either keep a cumulative DB and or integrate a full TX file from those available sources (to begin with .. plus other stuff). Any volunteers?
One of the slight issues is the asynchronism between the merit TX file generation, and the profile scrape (in order to derive the initial starting point). For example, a person may be merited between the TX file and the profile scrape, and cause some to be marked with a wrong initial rank (it is not that likely in the big picture, but it does happen). There’s also the question if we want to know who ranked who through each step (i.e. when a user reached Jr. Member, but also when the same user got to Member and so forth), or just to the current rank. Then, to you (or to DdmrDdmr), it wouldn't be considered as a challenge. :PI need a list with all the users I've sent the last needed merit to rank up. It will be great to tell someone you've been iasenkoed :PSorry guys, I couldn't stop myself. Title: Re: To all the statistics guys out there, here's a challenge. Post by: DdmrDdmr on August 16, 2019, 09:41:56 PM Here I'm jumping into the pool with no safety (i'ts late now, and I need to leave it here). This is a Beta in all senses for @Iasenko (33):
Edit: updated list Code: UserFromName user_from UserToName user_to amount msg converted_date RankedTo I'll try to keep at it on the Weekend if I can (may not). If anyone wants to overtake, please do. The above barely checked list of those ranked-up by @Iasenko. The format can be expanded, and I have all the data calculated, but I need to review it properly and think of the outputs. In process: check Jr. and Legendary. Notes: - I’ve taken into consideration that a merit TX may have ranked someone twice (i.e. Jr. member + member if awarded 10 sMerits). - I’ve considered all in-between rank-up steps. - The listed data relates to the TX that caused the ranking-up, although technically it may not have at the time. For example, if the user did not have enough activity at the time (but does now). I cannot backtrack activity. - This is extremely Beta now. I’ve posted the above so as to have a debug set that perhaps @Iasenko can verify to some degree. - This may backfire and need to be deleted ... From what i can see is that I'm missing "hugeblack" and "thequin". Im pretty sure hugeblack was the first Full Member to rank up and I gave him the missing merit. Hugeblack was full member when the merit system was introduced. Maybe you gave him the missing merit to rank up to senior member but am sure I gave him the missing merit to become hero (well deserved, by the way). Does this make us partners? ;DTitle: Re: To all the statistics guys out there, here's a challenge. They're now on the list. Debugged 10 cases so far and seemed ok. I'll call it a night now.<...> This is what I make it:Code: UserFromName user_from UserToName user_to amount msg converted_date RankedTo Edit: I help two guys so far: Baofeng and big_daddy. Can I have a slot in the club of Ranking-up Helpers? BTW this merit inspired me to start a service to help people to rank up :) > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3108981.msg32121418#msg32121418 |
