Title: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: aundroid on August 16, 2019, 08:15:32 PM Since I've always wanted to know how the IEOs perform on the different exchanges, I' ve now started to create an overview.
The IEOs on each exchange are sorted by date. Exchanges like LaToken, Exmarkets, Probit and P2PB2B were deliberately omitted! New IEOs (and Exchanges) will be added on a regular basis. (see Changelog) Changelog - 12.08.2019: initial Overview created - 17.08.2019: IEO End Dates added - 18.08.2019: BitForex: Sqeezer, AlphaNu, SWAPS - 19.08.2019: Bibox: X-Block; Huobi: EMOGI; BitMax: Ferrum Network - 23.08.2019: Kucoin: Tokoin; OKex: PLedgecamp - 26.08.2019: Binance: Perlin - 28.08.2019: gate.io: D Community - 31.08.2019: Bitsdaq Exchange & Bitsdaq Token IEO, Updatet ROIs for Tokoin - 17.09.2019: Bitsdaq: Colletrix; Huobi: Whole Network; OKEx: X-power Chain - 23.09.2019: Binance: BAND, Coinbene Moonbase: HUPAYX - 25.10.2019: Binance: Kava, Coinbene Moonbase: Moozicore - 29.11.2019: OKEx: ROAD - 14.12.2019: Binance: Troy - 10.02.2020: Binance: WazirX - 28.04.2020: Binance: Cartesi - 08.05.2020: OKex: HyperDAO, DEAPCoin - 02.10.2020: Kucoin: LUKSO, BNS Token; Binance: The Sandbox; Bitmax: xDai Chain, Swingby, Serum; Gate.io: Ally, Kardiachain, Meter Governance - 19.11.2020: Binance: Alpha Finance Lab, Injective Protocol, Axie Infinity - 20.11.2020: Bitmax: Akash; Gate.io: Wootrade; Bitforex: TimeCoinProtocol - 27.11.2020: Bitmax: Stafi; Kucoin: Velo OVERVIEW (clickable)

ROI values may vary. Initial ROI values from 12.08.2019. Values that are not listed on https://cryptorank.io were calculated by myself. This may help us identify the moment when the performance of the IEOs on a specific exchange starts to decline. Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: Mighty_crypt on August 17, 2019, 10:09:36 AM Nice posts, this will atleast change the mind of many who still think that IEO is not performing good enough,i wonder what more can a investor wish for with the nice ROI results from exchanges like binance,gate.io and huobi among the rest, even kucoin and okex are doing great as well,IEO is what ICO should have been in a long time
Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: Tarion on August 17, 2019, 02:37:10 PM This makes me even more sure that we all should participate only on trusted exchanges with great trading volume and big amount of coins. Just look at Bitforex IEOs and you will understand that it is much easier to take part in one IEO on Binance or Huobi rather than to take in several on exchanges like Bitforex.
Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: InwardContour on August 17, 2019, 03:53:02 PM Very unique post, it shows clearly that most standard exchanges have been performing well with IEO. Personally I didn't really know Bittrex has some successful IEOs after the saga from the very first, of which I lost interest in their IEOs. Also from your records, SERO's IEO done on gate.io has the highest ROI ever. I had more interest on Binance IEOs since that's always the talk of crypto space but with this, it's crystal clear that there are other exchanges with decent IEO performance. I observed Bitfinex which newly joined the IEO craze is missing from your list, consider adding its data when need be.
Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: SquallLeonhart on August 17, 2019, 04:30:56 PM Everyone should remember that most of these coins that started new got funded, which means they have enough money to keep it alive for a while, if there is too much pressure and everyone is selling than there is not much they can do and it will drop (as you can see many of them already dropped, only a few actually made a decent return) but the ones that are close to break even point might have been because they have been kept alive by the team itself with the funding they got.
There are a ton of shady stuff going on in IEO world that regular people do not know, I have been involved with many because of what I do and I can tell you that most of the prices are fabricated with small pushes and pump/dumps and as soon as even a small 1 btc sell happens they get destroyed. Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: kooboat on August 17, 2019, 05:13:38 PM Good work by the OP and the initiative is just laudable. It is just good that exchanges like probit , Exmarkeys and co were omitted. There have been many IEOs on those exchanges without any significant impact although there were serious buzz created on those projects.
Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: thesmallgod on August 17, 2019, 06:04:20 PM Latoken is really a joke. No wonder many scam project dev patronized them. They do not delist dead projects and they have been alleged to be faking trading volume. They are big for nothing. Funny thing, they have started building a DEX platform. I think they are deliberately copying binance style ;D instead of rebranding the platform. These collections of exchange that offer IEO will help some new project to make good decision and safe them from the risk of getting listed in joke exchange platform.
Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: RealMalatesta on August 18, 2019, 04:11:10 PM Wow, you really deserve and award to have been able to compute this successfully, from this statistic of yours, we can even see that IEO is still very low and this is why we are not seeing bull run that much, it can never be compared to the number of ICO that was release in 2017 that increased the value of the market cap generally.
Now that ICO has failed, we really need a lot of IEO to be released now that investors are still much trusting IEO so that the market cap can grow the more, otherwise, we may not see bull run for the market generally. We need some real solid fundamentals that will help us grow from the currency 300 billion dollars back to 800 billion dollar and above. I understand that most IEO platform would do their due diligence first, but projects need to start getting established. Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: Iykecollins on August 18, 2019, 10:25:26 PM Quite impressive though I do not think this is exhaustive as I have more IEO's in these exchanges that never made good ROI's too. Binance still tops the list as the most successful platform to buy IEO

Both projects have performed quite well with 2x - 3x. And remember that as of tomorrow, tickets for Perlin (Binance) can be claimed. ;) Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: javadsalehi on August 23, 2019, 08:11:51 PM Most of the IEOs you have listed have been profitable. Especially IEOs that have been conducted by top exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, OKEX and Huobi.
The condition of the market should be also considered. We see the ROI(ATH) is much higher than current ROI. Altcoins are falling and these could be much profitable if the market condition was better. We see IEOs can be much better than ICOs. I think the problem is untrustworthy exchanges that list and conduct many IEOs. I mean Latoken, Exmarkets, Coineal, etc. Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: salty on August 23, 2019, 09:12:21 PM Well... the right post, with which you can save a lot of time.I will participate in the Ferrum Network and Tokoin. And by the way a very good decision that You refused LaToken and P2PB2B. Annoy me these exchanges.

I think the upcoming launchpad, Band Protocol, will also bring huge profits for its investors That's expected, that's why people are preparing for this, but I'm happy to see that OP is updating the thread and I've seen that not only Binance are making investors profitable but other exchanges as well. It's just that Binance are more popular since they are also the most popular exchange for now, but based on the list in OP, Binance is not the most profitable exchange that host an IEO. I must have been thinking of % while looking at x. My eyes are used to the % in CMC in terms of ROI. Anyway, based on your data, only 1 out of 4 IEOs launched in Bittrex made a positive ROI and yet the platform appears to be on top in a few rankings. While the project itself counts above anything else in terms of their future success, the data seem to show that the platform has a lot of influence as well. And have you not heard of projects using fake volumes just to attract people either by IEO or ICO. That list that I am looking at there, there is no way that the exchanges that created their own IEO list will not be biased about it, because they will not want to be seen as people who does not know how to conduct their own IEO, I have seen many people join some IEO which is failing lots of its investors right now because they are also being used as pump and dump coin, some of them has even been participated by my friends, so where are those ones. After quite some time I added another IEO today, this time it was on OKEx. Meanwhile it is getting a lot quieter around IEOs, on some exchanges the last IEOs happened months ago. OKEx and Binance actually deliver constant ROIs from ~2x upwards. ROAD now even better with 3.6x. I know that ieos lately haven't been a very good investment opportunity as most tend to dump shortly after listing but the overall data is impressive. I was of the opinion that only Binance was the platform with a good ROI history in terms of IEOs but Gate and Okex have an even more convincing record with regards to consistency of profits!

Meanwhile it is getting a lot quieter around IEOs, on some exchanges the last IEOs happened months ago. OKEx and Binance actually deliver constant ROIs from ~2x upwards. ROAD now even better with 3.6x. At 0.0x your investment wouldn't be worth anything anymore. Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: aundroid on October 02, 2020, 09:44:41 AM After a longer break, I updated the IEOs again.
Remember that the ROI [USD] always refers to the day I added the respective project. And ROI ATH should be self-explanatory. Below is everything I have added today: >> Update (see changelog): Kucoin: LUKSO, BNS Token; Binance: The Sandbos; Bitmax: xDai Chain, Swingby, Serum; Gate.io: Ally, Kardiachain, Meter Governance Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: aundroid on November 19, 2020, 08:44:07 PM Added three more Binance IEOs to the list today, all of which performed really well.
>> Update (see changelog): Binance: Alpha Finance Lab, Injective Protocol, Axie Infinity Hope some of you made some nice profits, I unfortunately did not have a winning ticket at any of the IEOs. Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: aundroid on November 20, 2020, 05:53:56 PM Added three more IEOs today!
>> Update (see changelog): Bitmax: Akash; Gate.io: Wootrade; Bitforex: TimeCoinProtocol I think we have a new record here. TimeCoinProtocol with an ATH ROI of 83x and a current ROI of still 20x :o Holy shit. Title: Re: [Overview] Exchanges, IEOs and their ROIs Post by: aundroid on November 27, 2020, 04:14:55 PM Added 2 more IEOs today.
>> Update (see changelog): Bitmax: Stafi; Kucoin: Velo Velo, a Kucoin IEO from mid September with a current ROI of 30x :o |
