Title: "Are you happy"?
Post by: omonuyak on August 22, 2019, 05:35:29 AM
Why humanity is suffering today and we are having poverty and low mind is because we take the insignificant aspects of life to be the whole life!
I do get annoyed when you meet people on Facebook and Twitter and the first thing they asked you is "where are you working, where do you live, are you married"? The ideas of asking you all these questions are to rate you and know the level of respect to give you. All of this question, don't matter and we should start to ask people if " They are really happy"!

I am happy with my life, I have a girlfriend and a beloved family. What else do me need to be happy?

Don't be overly sensitive, maybe those question just intended to know you more  :)
Because with that question I can then decide how can I make this person happy? If he/she has kids, I could ask about them. Parents are proud of their children. Or if they have some problem, I could offer some help. Same thing for other topics.

In some cases, asking "are you happy" to someone you just met can be offensive. Like, "why are you asking that, do I look unstable?"  ;D
Off course we want to spread happiness to everybody, it just that those questions are the first step.

I think that much better question is : "Do you love?"
because love is more important than life,  health,  money etc.
If we love someone or receive love,  we are also inspired,  healthy, happy  have less worries, stress

This is a difficult question to answer.
After working for a day, I went home and sat on the sofa with a bottle of beer in my hand. I enjoyed it at this moment. Can you imagine? It's just a sofa and a beer. I also encountered some problems that bothered me and saddened. For example, the mortgage has to be repaid, and the cat I raised is lost. Probably this is life. I am not absolutely happy or sad.

I think asking about if we are married or not i has negative approach because for me specially if the one who asked is a woman meaning they have some interest towards us(though ofcourse not all of them)

But that other two in which “where are we working and living”I guess those are looking about our standards in life that sounds foul and offensive

Happiness is not a destiny besides we choose this if we wanna have or not,so asking if people are happy?the answer is depend on what they wanted to be

I wouldn't say I'm happy but I'm not said either. I guess I'm just alright
All that matter is your "happiness". Be happy with life and life will work like magic to you. If human beings and everything in the world did not make you happy and are very unfair, you have to make yourself happy and be fair to yourself.

If you aren't happy, make a change.  You might be surprised how chasing happiness can lead you to all sorts of accomplishments that to you were not work at all.

I have decided to be happy because whatever happens around me should not be a determining factor of my happiness. For more than a year now I have decided to look at life in a new way and that has made me more successful in everything I am doing than before. I went into trading and for 4 years I couldn't make any money because all around me is about sadness until I changed my thinking and decided to pursue happiness. Since then I am happy and successful too.

I don't think that's the way they rate people. If someone who's interested to know more about you has a tendency to ask you the same question. I don't find it offensive if they ask me those questions.

What would be offensive to me if they will attack me through words that are not true. Making up story just to make them hero and make me a villain, degrade my personality and other negative words.

All our problems are about money. Money is the meaning of life.

I have only that "basic income". My plan is to build a big data center on Outside on the main city area. (Expensive electricity)
Damn, I am happy if that container plan about $3800/24h going thru with funding sector.
53 Th/s x 250. Money is the reason, why my plans are stuck.

Totally agree with you. Happiness comes from our soul. If we know how to be satisfied with things we've had and don't be so irritated with things we don't have. We can be completely happy.

we must rediscover the simple things that can give us joy like a breath of wind, the waves at the sea and how to be happy without being slaves of money

I don't know if definitive happiness is truly a thing someone can be. Life has ups and downs. Through years people will have high moments and bad.

People strive to be happy, and honestly, it's a narrow goal.

People would be better off if they strived to have purpose, not happiness. 100% Happiness is hard to obtain and hard to maintain 100%. + the expectation that everyone ought to be happy 100% of the time is what causes many to feel depressed. It's completely normal to have ups and downs.

Did you know that you are the maker of sad events around your life? The sad events will never change unless you are ready to change the way you think and look at things! What you see as sadness is the reason why others are happy.
Focusing on what is outside and abandoned what is inside of you is the root cause of sadness.

I'm not happy. But too lazy to change
The accept your life’s a failure from now on and never expect something positive will come your way.remember that we have the rights to choose whatever we wants either to be happy or sad but if you are lazy to change that attitude ....well Goodluck to your future

I've never been happy. My life is full of sad events
Better both of you  join the club lol

You will become sad if you chooses this then start finding happiness even in sad events ,

I can imagine that conversation:

-"Hello. Are you happy?"
-"Yes, and you?"
-"Yes."
-"Ok. Where do you live? Are you married?"

I guess so. But I don't think we can use a single word like "happy" to describe our life, which is obviously a mixture of various factors. I am busy with work now, worried about the thesis defense, looking forward to hanging out with my friends on holiday coming soon, above all, leading a fruitful life I believe. So, do not get struck and live your own life.

I am happy, I am never not happy, just have a lack of joy sometimes.

The fact I live in a $lave $ystem and the general public is to stupid to realize it, is pretty depressing though.
