Title: emecrypt.com<< CAUTION
Post by: Intradaytrader on August 23, 2019, 08:33:57 PM
Hello guys.
Before somedays i got message from some  unknown person and he told me that he is from china and the withdrawal is banned in China and he also added that it's fund stuck on emecrypt.com (http://emecrypt.com). He offered me 15% of his fund for withdrawal to me so i said yes. After that i made account on this site and in few minutes he transferred all money which is near about 0.29 btc to my account.
But when i go for withdrawal it told me that the guidelines of website is changed and for more security and reduce bots you have to first deposit 0.01 btc. So after sometime i deposited 0.01 btc in that account but i still can't able to withdraw it.
I also tried to contact the customer support but they didn't give any response. They all are scammers so beaware of this kind of scammer.
I also put some screenshots of my wallets which ismade on emecrypt.com (http://emecrypt.com)

he copied this site: https://cex.io ( true website )

After that i made account on this site and in few minutes he transferred all money which is near about 0.29 btc to my account.

as you were unable to think of the following:

how was he able to add fund to your account (the scammer just wrote 0.29 btc on your account, isn't it as if he sent 0.29 btc from his wallet to your account)?

you would have immediately discovered that he is a scammer

Sorry for your loss but there so many red flags written all over this...I sometimes question if these scams are real or not.

I seriously don't understand how someone could fall for this, that's just pure greed and looking to get easy money.

Some unknown person, some unknown fake exchange (domain less than two weeks old)...and you thought it's a good idea to send money to.  ???

Omg yes you are definitely right. That scammer copy it from this site.

And actually he told me that he need my account email to transfer fund so i sent him my account email and he transferred btc in my wallet.
But now i realised rhat they are just numbers not any real btc.

I have the exact same story, a chinese kid said the same thing to me on discord and sent me 2.02 btc, had the same problem to(for withdrawl). first deposit 0.03 btc. then 3 etherum 3 bth..
I said he should send the 3 eth and bch., he did that. i changed the adress to my coinbase, he sent 3 bch and some eth. i sent it over to the site emecrypt to withdraw the founds. got a new message from emecrypt when i pressed withdraw. (deposit 2 eth to be gold member)

in this time i have already trade some of the 2.02 btc he sent me to 4.2 btc.. Then a week later Support messaged me and asked where i got the 2.02 btc, i told the hole story and took some screenshots of the conversation with the chinese kid to the support, they said he scamed people on coinbase and sent the founds to ppl on their site. they took away the 2.02 btc he had sent to me, and i could have the rest ive traded up and deposited.

now im in the possition i have 2 btc 3 eth. and 2 bch   on the site. if i want to withdraw it i must become a gold member and deposit 2 eth.

a small fee to get the big founds from site.. but still a bit sceptic. and will wait a few weeks and see if the site even remains up or not..

https://cex.io (https://cex.io). Is this legit site or it's also scam???!!

It is legit, which does not mean that it can't turn into a scam later on,... It can be used by scammers, it can be used by phishers, it can close your account, it can freeze your funds, it can be hacked, it can go bancrupt,... but for now (afaik) it's legit...

Only use exchanges you trust, investigate before using them, and only keep your funds on an exchange for as long as you need to complete the trade... Always store your funds in a wallet for which you're the only one in complete controll of your private keys!
