Why are there so many coins that have higher transfer rates than bitcoin or eth, and the fee is also cheaper than it is for increasing transfers, but I feel like more advanced coins are getting worse. . Is it now that cryptocurrency is just a place to invest and make a profit without seeing its power and meaning? I think better things will replace the old ones

I believe that in the coming years there will be a great future for cryptocurrencies and tags will be heavily used in communities

because there are no "more advanced coins". there are only hot air and advertisement filled with lies about "more advanced coins" where in reality they are either copies of bitcoin doing the exact same thing but poorly, or they are different  but that same difference means they are weaker and have less security or in most cases more centralization.

so yeah, i also think that better things will replace the old ones but it will take at least another decade if not more to see a real "better thing" that is not just some bullshit coin trying to rip you off and become rich from your lack of technical understanding. example? etherum and the entire year of advertising "flippening". now it is nearly dead.

Higher transfer rates, what do you mean? Fee for transaction? Or you mean transactions per second?

TPS is easy to do. There's been dozens of altcoins with hundreds of tps years ago, Litecoin is an example. Only problem is, they're not as secure. So Bitcoin may only need 1 confirmation but Litecoin maybe needs 7 confirmation. So in the end, you're talking about the same thing.

It does not seem to be a true prediction. At least for now,  the tendency is that Bitcoin is getting all of the attention even though the fees are high, and alts that may cost nothing to use are dying. Because transaction fees are not the most important thing. People choose what's popular, what is more frequently used, what is more stable. It's risky to use a cryptocurrency like doge that works fine for now but does not have a dev team. Such coins can have critical bugs and you'll regret you were greedy to pay a couple of dollars for something reliable.

If you're asking about the future of Bitcoin and Ethereum, there's a lot of opportunity coming for them every time they keep existing.

So basically, we don't know the exact and specific details about their future but we knew that it will be a huge and good future especially for us who supports them.

As the top 2 coins in terms of marketcap, Bitcoin and Ethereum I think have a good future ahead. Ethereum are releasing Ethereum 2.0 early next year where you can stake if you are holding a minimum of 32 ETH.

First of all a centralized coin is worthless, doesn't matter how perfect everything else is. Bitcoin is based in a no trust model, it works by code and decentralization with miners and nodes confirming and spreading transactions. It cannot be stopped even if you could imprison Satoshi, which you can't anyway (smart move by the creator, to remain anonymous and then disappear).

What is Ethereum worth when a small group can undo transactions?, sure evil hackers, but it proved they can and that demonstrates its flaw. Oh and infinite supply, you should know to stay away from those...

Bitcoin transactions are good enough for most uses, and LN is going to improve things if only by taking some (menial) traffic away from the network.

Bitcoin will remain in use, it cannot be replaced easily when there are no real contenders. No ETH isn't worth it, and i don't know if people will still talk about it when it ends PoW and switches to PoS completely with its programmed fiat like inflation built in.

What I know is that there is no more going back for cryptocurrency and the two mentioned coin on discuss are the top two coins and they are the ones leading. Of course, as I see things, bitcoin is getting more popular daily and I'm optimistic is going to give more value for hodlers in the future.

Well, this is the rule better things replace old ones. But I don't think it will be that easy as you and I think because BTC and ETH have a billion-dollar cap and a lot of hype around. Let's see how new projects make things better than Btc and how much hype they can creat, this process will take years.

Probably because most of the coins nowadays are being controlled by their creators, for that you can't completely trust it. Unlike Bitcoin where the community decides and supports it with the system already solid, most altcoins die because of lack of support from the developer and from the community. Higher transfer rates? What you mean? More transactions than Bitcoin? I doubt that, even if, they are bots putting random transaction to appear as busy coin.
Higher transaction possible at any given moment? Maybe, but at what cost. Keep in mind many solutions work to a certain point, at heavy load everything changes, not scale, bottlenecks etc.
You should understand that on Bitcoin working best in the world developers and on other altcoins often one or two developers of medicore skills.

Of course the old ones would be replaced as time goes by it is evolution we have seen it countless times before.

There are a lot of coins who are faster than bitcoin, coins with 1-minute blocks, but this doesn't- make them better, just think about blockchain, bitcoin after 10 years has a 200GB blockchain, if we have 1-minute blocks with bitcoin then the blockchain size would be 2TB... So faster blocks bring faster confirmations but a bigger blockchain.

To my opinion these are the two coins that will actually survive and be also used in the future.
There are many coins at the market but only few will survive and keep the value and Bitcoin and Ethereum are definetely among them. This is good investment now and it will remain in the future.

It will be almost impossible for any coin to replace bitcoin and no matter how slow bitcoin transactions is it has established strong foundation in the mind of people that will keep it forever with us. BTC and ETH have a shining future, since they are the most promising cryptocurrencies right now. Bitcoin is the most successful and popular coin, while ETH is still number one in the altcoins world. Bitcoin is expected to rise a bit faster than ETH, because it have the largest community and the biggest volume of trading.

No one can predict the future of BTC and ETH. Either their value will go up or just stay as it was now. We need more usage and public acceptance that digital money is the future money. By then, more users will help dictate the uptrend if prices. There's a lot of new projects and tokens now. Some disappeared faster and some stays and went on with their developments.

Cryptocurrencies are now mostly only drived by the speculators. And they don't care about the development of the technology and only want to get more profits. That's why you are going to still see bitcoin and the top coins to still be at the top. It can change, but it will need more time and it will need that the whales decide which coin is going to increase in price or not. And thoses new coins need to make a bigger effort in their marketing to make them more known to the public. The old ones don't have to make any effort, as everyone have already heard about them.

They can't replace Bitcoin even if there were too advanced, those newly made coins will not gonna step on the level of Bitcoin. They will always belong to the altcoins category. BTC and ETH are the two great cryptocurrencies that we could trust for the rest of our life. I think, for now, cryptocurrency will be a place to invest and make a profit but then when the technology grows better, we will see the other advantage from the coins that will help our life too. Bitcoin is not the best coin in the space in terms of usage, but you can't blame people to still invest in bitcoin because they find it the best investment and that it has a great potential in the future. Bitcoin is still the only decentralized coin, and I don’t think there is any other coin that is fully decentralized, even ethereum that has similar policy is not that decentralized.

Most altcoins would never create such system because what they are actually after is the money, but if they had passion about the project like satoshi had, by now, altcoins ought to have been spoken better f than this, but what we have now are projects that wants to be controlled.

I believe that there are only 2 cryptocurrencies on the market that will survive if anything really serious happens to the crypto. Moreover, ETH might be in larger demand than BTC. While Bitcoin is experiencing rate fluctuations, users are looking for a more stable investment option.
Buying more Ether can be a good idea, as it continues to attract large investors and will only develop and grow in value in the near future.

It for sure both of them will survive but talking about rate fluctuations, all of them will experience such thing since the entire market is definitely depending on BTC. The demand will be higher soon (both), this is the advantage for us and to take the chance of storing it now before the price will climb high.

As of now, Cryptocurrency has undergone excellent development. Many developed countries have prepared the use of Cryptocurrency, so the country is legitimate.

I do agree that there are a lot of coins better than Bitcoin in terms of transaction speed. However, Bitcoin remains the dominant and face of crypto for many years. And altcoins will be just like that, alternative coins to Bitcoin. Yes, now cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin is being recognized as one of the best asset so obviously people are trading to make money out of it. And I don't think that the perception will change overtime. And that is the main reason why Bitcoin adoption is also slow and merchants are not willing to take the risk to accept it as medium of payment. Certainly, there will be new ones to replace the old and traditional coins, but I doubt that Bitcoin can be replaced soon.

People who are in crypto for more than 3 years they can easily understand what are the major currencies will lead the cryptocurrency market in future. Definitely the answer is BitCoin and Ethereum, even though we have seen a complete downtrend about the BitCoin and Ethereum their standards are kept increasing in terms of ecosystem developments.

Instead of thinking of replacing them, we can just think of advancing them rather, because if we continue to have that mentality that we need a new technology, we will just keep producing more new coin into the market without having a real use case, and they will keep raising money .

All the money that has been raised so far was for many of them to some up with a better system as they claim, and this is why people supported them, but it appears like bitcoin system is still the best for now. So, my take is that we just have to find away to make it better, I don’t know how, but I believe that if those who are passionate about bitcoin can come together, then they will be able to create some sort of ideas that will work for the advancement of bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a great influence in this market but it is still too early for this coin to stabilize for a long time because the bear market is coming back and this makes all the other coins affected. I think if Bitcoin can rise to $15,000 this year and maintain that stability throughout the month, all altcoins can rise very well and ETH will be one of the first coins to achieve new growth with Bitcoin.

it has been 2 years but I never see any drama related to Bitcoin and Ethereum and on the contrary, I have been seeing so many dramas related to Bitcoin and its clones.

I don't think so. There's a reason why big companies in the US and other countries are now starting to recognize not just BTC or ETH, even cryptocurrency as a whole. We can see all positive or negative things about crypto on trusted news sites (https://www.coincurb.com/?utm_source=lx) but most of them only cover the top coins. Meaning that altcoins should definitely do their part if they wanna get recognized and have power across different communities.

of course most of news site about crypto will talk only about the TOP coins with huge volume and marketcap mate

I do not understand your intention, but you ask about the future of BTC and ETH. Of course, I would think that the future of BTC and ETH is excellent. If we try to look past BTC and ETH, they certainly do not think that BTC and ETH will have a high selling value.

Now I also think the same that BTC and ETH have a good future. Crypto is not just for investing, but you can also have a crypto-based company that you can develop.

They might be easier to transact, but they are not as attractive as bitcoin and Ethereum, and as not as reliable as the two coin. the most important thing now is to increase adoption of BTC or ETH. it will help how market growth begins. now we only need to look at how to increase market adoption of these coins. some events have been done but in reality growth is very difficult to create.

The struggle is happening now but it will not last forever, just like in the past, bitcoin has a dominant rate of over 80% but altcoins grow and they rally to bring down the dominant rate of BTC. We should not judge and panic easily with the current situation, altcoins are lagging behind, we cannot deny that but we saw how they performed in the past and they'v proven they can also attract investors.

Sometimes the value may not tell the real status of the project's development, therefore we have to find projects which are undervalued so we can invest now and buy it cheap having a real chance that we will be profitable in the future.

Bitcoin will continue to be the king of all cryptocurrency, while eth will either be replaced by another coin or still maintains it position. I don’t know what you mean here but replacing Bitcoins position is too far from reality because the capitalization is still huge compare to all altcoin,even ethereum that next rank cannot even get 1/3 of bitcoin caps so what more newbie currency?

And fees isn’t not an issue because bitcoin transaction fee now specially with LN is too low compared the past years.

There are coins with better technical characteristics than BTC and ETH. In this case, it is illogical to expect a great future from a slow and expensive BTC. But crypto is driven by hype.
As long as advertising remains more important than the essence, and most people remain technically illiterate, Bitcoin and Ethereum will be the first.

The religious beliefs are not debatable but I am sure atheist traders will not agree with your arguments. Hodlers have a long term bias in the market and they look for the options with the same questions like how to make a profit without risking big amounts. Hope is the worst feeling in the elastic crypto markets but it is the last station of the unskilled traders from my experience. The holders will never let the trade balance to meltdown in the bear market which is inevitable, they have stop-loss orders which wait for this kind of the market circumstances. There are a lot of new projects look for the private investors but they usually fail to fill the investors cleft successfully.

I haven't been able to do any of these transactions for the past few days, because the very high level of gas makes it very difficult for me. I think the confirmation needs to be done immediately because if this situation continues, ETH will make a lot of investors unhappy. I personally only use BNB, LTC, XRP for trading because the fee is much cheaper than ETH and each transaction is confirm very quickly.

Those two coins can never seize to be profitable because they're still the main coins that we have in the market and no matter what other coins do to want to meet up, they might really not be able to compete with them, because when it comes to true decentralization, bitcoin and Ethereum has given their all to it, but how many of the coins that we have now are willing to give up their control? All wants to create the project and be in possession of it.

If many of these projects were wise, they would have just created a decentralized technology and then act as satoshi acted. Satoshi gave everything out, but he made sure he kept his reward which is the 980 million bitcoin that we are seeing right now, and until other projects gets to operate like bitcoin and Ethereum before they can get it right.

As far as I understand, Ethereum may already have Bitcoin in its capabilities, although at the price of Ethereum it is still very far from real competition with Bitcoin.  Nevertheless, ETH is a full-fledged coin with a personal blockchain, in which the transaction speed is much higher than the Bitcoin transaction speed.  I believe that the future of Ethereum is very promising, although it was somewhat desecrated by a large number of bad ico companies.  By the way, the next Istanbul update should bring very good changes for the whole ethereum and for its users.

Just keep accumulating and don`t get too excited with FUD, it`s everywhere around. Both of this coins have a future, bright future. With time they are getting stronger, and in a few years, they will be stronger than now. Do you believe in that or not, is the question here, if you do don`t get distracted, don`t doubt, just keep stacking and everything will be fine.

I think if a lot of people have positive thing same like you, There is big chance bitcoin and ETH will get new ATH soon. I think if people be patient and not panic when FUD comes, or maybe correction, they can help at least to not make it worse. Because who actually make bitcoin price dumped is when people panic and sell their coins because afraid if get more losses.

Because they are not popular enough to compare with bitcoin and eth. even though they have some advance features like lite coin, the only popular coins they know is Bitcoin and eth so they don't really bother if these 2 have high cost and etc.

You are trying to treat bitcoin as it is an old smartphone and nothing could be further from the truth, you must not forget that bitcoin before anything else is a form of money and money needs to be trusted by people if you want them to use it, we cannot replace bitcoin every 6 months just because another coin is slightly faster than bitcoin, bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and even if we do not know the identity of the person behind the name of satoshi this does not change the fact that we can trust the code he left behind and until that changes bitcoin will be the number one cryptocurrency around the world.

If this market has a big collapse, investors will still trust BTC and ETH because these are the two coins that determine the existence of this market.
