Hey :) many thanks for your response. I am actually interested in the ICO success factors, therefore I was looking for people who know a lot about ICOs and have actually invested in ICOs.

I have only ever invested in an ICO in my life and although it ended well (15x), it took almost a year for the token to get listed in an exchange, which means that my ICO funds got tied down for a year, after that experience, IEOs has already become the rage if the moment.

Don't bother trying to know what people's ICO experience looks like, to 90% of investors on here ICO is a big failure, not encouraging and i will never invest in any ICO project again no matter how good they look one can easily get deceived, its been bad experience for me since almost a year now

Yes i have invested my time and money on ICO projects after the last bullrun ended and bear market took over, the ICO projects i invested in are all in trouble now because they are in total loss and it might kill the projects, for me to make back my profit altcoins need to start surging like weve seen on the past

no, i never participated in ico campaign, but after hype from IEO campaign from that i'm active investing money for new IEO project because i think this way is more safer than i participated in traditional ico campaign without escrow

I am still hesitant to invest ICO until this moment and made me hesitate when I started investing. I better choose investment in bitcoin or some altcoin. or if not I follow IEO.

The last time i invested in an ICO was with ATLANT and UTRUST.

ICO price :
ATL = 0.65 UTK = 0.065

ATLANT goes live on HITBTC and sold my tokens @ 3.14 USD each
UTK with KUCOIN exchange sold my tokens @ 1.6 USD each...

A good profit but that was November 2017.

I can't forget that year cause it is totally amazing, hypes are good and gives more profit to the investors. A lot of tokens sold at a high price but how it looks today, they've gone and the price was it almost at zero value. It has something to think that hypes is over and whales are not greatly participating by now. Mostly ICO today fails and investors suffer losses.

The question is, could this ICO/IEO projects could sustain for the next couple of years or they just dried up?

Yes i have invested in quite a few ICO with varying success, however the most promising of these ICO bunch was the one that failed most miserably. Sparkster had a lot of hype when the ICO launched but due to the mismanagement from the team a lot of questionable marketing strategies, the tokens have really dumped in price and almost have no value right now.

I was an ICO observer, and several times followed the ICO.
but my advice is you can make a new survey, like IEO, because ICO is rarely interested, or make 2 surveys so that it can be considered, because IEO and ICO are very different, although the same in principle.

Filled out the form. The only major ICO I ever remember investing in and being a part of was Iconomi back in 2017; I got a pretty good amount of tokens from participating in their bounty campaign, which was my first and second-to-last time I ever participated in a non-bitcoin payment signature campaign, and though it seems like they've ceased trading as a token and they've switched over to some other security token of some sort, I remember selling at nearly a dollar which was also the most I've ever made from an ICO considering I acquired the tokens at pennies each (or actually a bit less if I remember correctly).

For now investing in an ICO this day is risky , well even before it is risky to invest in an ICO because many of them are scams. I once invested in an ICO but unfortunately it was a big failure because the people behind that project runaway with my money and other investors. But i never quit , i try again and for the second time it was successfull and i earn more profits from my investments.

Actually not everyone IEO better for your investment if you want make profitable because IEOs or ICOs doesn't matter if the project have strong and good partnership. Unless project will never give you profit if there haven't activity developing processing. Seems is the good think if you can focus a great project then simply you will makes profits.

I already invest in ICO in the last year.
But this year, I reduce my investment in ICO because the result is not good for me, and I am sure that the others will have the same opinion as me.
It is difficult to get the profit from the ICO now because the project seems difficult to survive in the bear market, which still happens today.
So if there are many people who still want to invest in the ICO, I hope that they can be careful in selecting the right ICO because we don't know how good they are in the future.
Don't waste your money in the wrong ICO without doing research of the project, and don't be naive to say that one ICO will be a success in the future because the market still struggling in the bear market.

I am an investor of ICO before but the return from the profit is not as high as I expected when I invest because the market went to bear trend. So I think that because most of my co-investors are going to dump it will even make the value lower so I also sell them even with low profit than getting negative return because of dumping. And a year or so passed, it has been swap to another token because the developer of that coin works in that new project and he cannot anymore focus in developing it, he is a pity.

I also had not very good experience in investing in ICO. And in IEO there are not very many profitable ones. Better not take chances like that

I've heard most of the investors back in 2017 used to earn a lot of money from investing in ICOs.
I personally heard it from my friends on telegram Buy on the token sale and wait for the token to be listed
on exchanges mostly they make a 10x profit more than they invested.

But after those years investing in ICO become the riskiest of all investing method nowadays
only a few percentages of ICOs are real because most of them are only to gain profit from
the investors no real project at all.

I invest on their ICO at $0.01 per $SNOV tokens and then sold it at Etherdelta when it reach $0.08
That's was a good Ol' days for me  :)

I didn't manage to invest my funds in any ICO because I came into cryptoworld unfortunately too late. As soon as I figured out what is all the basic rules and actions are about I used to try advertising campaigns and it showed how unstable investing is.
But good projects had a great ROI interest but I wasn't ready for that.

I have never invested in ICO, I prefer to invest in coins that are already in the exchanger. Investing in ICO or now IEO might be profitable but in my opinion it's too speculative investment. Maybe ICO in 2017 is profitable but seeing the current condition, I think many investors prefer to wait for market movements to improve first

I had a bitter experience investing in ICOs. This was my first experience in such a matter, and I think that I will not do this again. Like many other projects, he remained in its infancy, from which he probably never came out. The money was wasted. Now perhaps I will turn my eyes to IEO.

Why don't you participate in large numbers during 2017, when in 2017 almost all projects were perfectly successful, and very different from projects born in 2018, because in 2018 there were many births of scammers so that many projects did not succeed perfectly.

I have some experience but unfortunately mostly are play money wherein until now has no changes. So you must be aware investing through ICO because it's uncertain especially nowadays due to some copy pasting project. Such strategy how to convince participants easily like what other good project doing and etc. I suggest look forward on some finished projects if you are planing to invest to assure you can obtain profits despite of the situation.. Rather than fresh project wherein very unpredictable if it's worth as an investment.

I've invested 1 Ethereum in an ICO. And at that time the Ethereum price was good enough. Maybe I'm not lucky because the project I follow no longer develops. When this project can immediately enter the price of exchange. But I'm currently selling coins, the price of the coin has declined very far. I panicked because the coin price was afraid to fall deeper, I decided to sell the coin.

After that, I no longer invest in ICO. Many projects fail and scam.

I have been a part of one too many ICOs I can say I've had a mixed experience and feelings about ICOs. Feelings of joy and that of sadness at some point. I made some profits, reinvested in other ICOs where I lost my funds due to bad marketing strategies o. The side of the project.

honestly I have never invested in an ICO program. maybe in its golden age the program with the ICO system was very beneficial for many investors. but for now, if I am offered to invest in a program that still uses the ICO system I will reject it. because I saw the development of the ICO system last year which in my opinion was very bad. a lot of fraud committed by the development team and wants quick wealth without thinking about the ways or interests of others. and for now I prefer or feel more comfortable investing in a program that already uses the IEO or STO system.

I have contributed there and will write more here. Investing in ICO, I would compare with the rates in the casino. You can lose, you can win, it all depends primarily on your ability to find information about the project and critically study it.

Come to know that even shitty projects to those previous years where ICO is still being hyped up is really profitable for investors but those days is already gone.
We know on what these ICO projects turned into, becomes scams and lots of fraud projects plus having the declining market which in result into lack of support
from investors and that's why they do failed down.I admit that I had invested wayback in the past but luckily do able to pull out some profits and did join some projects
which ends up on failures where it didn't even hit up way more that into its ICO price.

I have invested in the past few years, but not this year because I observe that ICO are not anymore successful.
People have great ideas bud sadly that will not anymore sell now if they will try to force running an ICO, investors are well aware of the success rate of ICO in general and the big number of scams, which is majority of the projects, so I suggest if you are really serious with this project, find a way to run it in IEO instead of ICO.

Harmony was the best if I compare the mentioned IEO/ICOs on your list. The return on the investment is my first figuring if I decide to invest in any IEO project. The scientific research will not help the community if the results of the survey are not shared with the government. Governmental intervention is necessary in this case.  The Binance Launchpad projects are completely inconsistent and finding a reliable project is hard on the small exchanges. Crypto investing has such barriers in front of the traders but only some traders look for the efficient solution to the mentioned problems, to be honest.

At 2018 I started trying to invest in ICO. However, I didn't get the benefit because the project stopped halfway. Maybe because the project is fake and when they get the investor money, then they leave.

Since then I no longer invest and focus more on following the Bounty campaign project. And it is more profitable and has no risk of losing money.

At 2018 I started trying to invest in ICO. However, I didn't get the benefit because the project stopped halfway. Maybe because the project is fake and when they get the investor money, then they leave.

That thing is pretty obvious. Some of us take advantage of the current technology we have today and they actually use this to scam others. This is the main reason why investors losing their trust in crypto.

Last 2017, is the great days of altcoins and ICO ever but it turns down not too long because of rampant scamming activities. It looks bad and that is why we still suffering a long bearish season and not even seeing bull run yet. Will it hope that it changed and bringing back the trust of investors again.
