Title: Ban Appeal Post by: Monico Mekaniko on August 29, 2019, 06:21:43 AM Great day, I want to appeal a friends account zacxavier (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1334007) for being permanently banned. With the email address that was given is still unresponsive, I want to also ask forum members for the possible reasons why the account was banned. Give me a break of forum rules, that would just sound uncanny. Also to add, why there is no such warning prior to permanent ban?

Avoid the ban: The first time you create 2 accounts in 2017, @zacxavier, was created in Nev, and @ aervin11 is also the same year a different month oct. But your account 1 has been banned first: aervin11 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1196880) (Archived) 1. Bpip (https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=aervin11) And now following your second account: zacxavier (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1334007) (Archived) 2. Bpip (https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=zacxavier) The same type of fate (blocked). I stumbled by accident over a scam account that uses YouTube videos from different accounts to gain some bounty tokens - and I had a hard time finding a way to report the account in a streamlined fashion. I just gave a negative trust. The user running the scam was a bit salty on one Telegram channel I am in - and was aggressive - but wrote proper English. I backwards searched the Telegram username @MyNameisLov3 and found one post from the account that had a YouTube video in a bounty - so I started to dig deeper and found another YouTube video linked as "own work". Well - yeah - two different persons with a different voice on two different YouTube accounts. Title: Re: Ban Appeal Post by: Monico Mekaniko on August 29, 2019, 07:36:31 AM Hard to explain. Sarcastic. So with all those linking accounts, I think Expert3 account might as well get banned? Since it is proven that 2 accounts was used by only 1 user. Thanks btw. Title: Re: Ban Appeal Post by: DdmrDdmr on August 29, 2019, 07:44:17 AM How about this:

Extra-Bitcointalk is, as far as I’m aware, a manual procedure, using mainly Google as a tool for this, at least in my case. Normally you can try to find a post that seems oddly well written in relation to other posts from the same profile, and give those a go with Google (try a paragraph or exact phrases that standout).Title: Re: Ban Appeal Post by: Monico Mekaniko on August 29, 2019, 08:01:09 AM How about this: Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? It is indeed commendable but I am out of merits btw Title: Re: Ban Appeal Post by: rosezionjohn on August 29, 2019, 08:33:42 AM Also to add, why there is no such warning prior to permanent ban? There is no need for additional warning since the grounds for permanent ban were already laid out in the forum rules. There is no strike 1 or strike 2 here. |
