Title: bitpay wallet syncing Post by: figmentofmyass on September 02, 2019, 10:41:51 PM is there a way to troubleshoot syncing problems in the bitpay wallet? it's not like electrum where you can choose which servers to connect to. i sent a payment with 6 confirmations and it's still stuck in the "confirming" state so i can't spend the output.

If your receiving transaction is stuck I think you need to contact the support about this they will fix this by refreshing your account. Their network sync status is operational according to this https://status.bitpay.com/ so the problem might be a bug. Their network sync status is operational according to this https://status.bitpay.com/ so the problem might be a bug. i eventually found this support page (https://support.bitpay.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000242443-How-do-I-Fix-My-Wallet-if-it-is-showing-the-Wrong-Balance-and-or-Transaction-History-) which explained how to clear the wallet's cache. apparently that prompts the wallet to re-sync with bitpay's servers. it worked for my issue. |
